Why does a diplo saddle have an 11 person capacity and a bronto saddle only has 1

BEST WAY TO TAME!...... build some stone dino gateways... Place in a small area around the bronto... He wont be able to go anywhere. So you can then just sit back and shot away.

The best place to find theese is herbivore island /small tip:NEVER LEAVE UR DINOS ON AGRO THERE/

I suggest a raft to get there, bring some Dino’s too

There’s at least a single bronto there, but usually there’s two.

Bring at least a 500 berries, at least, plz do more tho

I also say u get some major soothing balm, and at least 60 tranqs,

Also there’s metal rocks on herbivore island

Im currently taming a bronto :) its just a level two though but it has alot of health. It only took 14 tranq arrows just as dododex said,dododex is very usefu.

I just tamed a lvl 22 bronto (I’m lvl 26 so pretty easy to tame) with around 40 tranq arrows in my crossbow, it only took around 15-25 minutes and 300-400 berries to tame (it’s my first bronto, I named her Earthquake :)

Don’t go in a forest because it will make that forest a non-forest.so don’t do it.

This was like my 5th tame, took me like 1 and a half hours but it was female and I got a male after a while and now I have like 10 fertilized eggs

A useful guide to tame bronto :

You can use tranq arrows and perch up on a cliff and fire at it from there. It will be stuck on the rocks and will not be able to attack you. Do not hit it on a lowered platform. Go higher enough so that it can't hit you. Then shoot it until it goes a bit far so you can confirm it's fleeing. Then go nearby and keep shooting until it falls unconcious. Hope this tip helps.

I'd recommend having at least 70 tranq arrows and a crossbow before you try and tame it.

1. Find a Bronto

2. Get to a high place

3. Shoot at head with tranq arrows(or tranq darts if your higher level) until it's knocked out

4.feed it lots of mejoberries

5. Give it good name

Ok hello there ones who are looking to tame a Bronto or more.

Ok,so what I suggest is to make 2-3 stacks of arrows and like 100 of I'd say probably citronal(lemon),rockarrot(carrot),Savoroot(potato),or corn(srry I forgot the name of 🌽 in the game) for it to eat.

Note-You might need more arrows for higher level brontos tho because they regularly have 2300 health.Some may have 3200 or more.

After making the arrows and gathering the food you can make a bow or crossbow (order of the crafting is ur choice).

Then find a bronto,I suggest trying to find either just 1 or trying to find 2 of the same gender so only the 1 u attack cares😅.

After finding a bronto,if not already in a rocky area,then lead it to a rocky area where it will get stuck and u can then just constantly shoot arrows at it.It might start to kinda run sometimes and u can go near to see if it's running cuz it's at low enough health for that,if it turns to u,then RUN,because it is actually just running in the opposite direction because it's trying to reposition so it can go past the rock.

Then continue to do this until u find it actually trying to run away cuz of low health,shoot it with a few more arrows till its at like 163 health (when mine stopped attacking with its tail finally,cuz they will run but still attack with their tail I swear I HATE IT) or lower and then club it.

After it's FINALLY unconscious you can feed it the 100 or less of (whatever u brought,hopefully not berries cuz that will do literally only 1. smt.literally,cuz I already tried) and then just wait.

Also don't worry about the consciousness cuz it's LONG lasting.And then BOOM,you've gotcha self a bronto.

I'm sorry this tip is so long,this is just how I tamed my bronto a few mins ago and I wanted to really be helpful.I am sorry if u kinda die along the way (that just happened to me so I'm just saying sorry cuz it might happen to u if ur like my lvl which is 55 or 56).But yeah,good luck and I hope you like ur new bronto,next I might do diplo,I haven't tamed 1 yet but I think I know how,it's almost easy.Bye!🤩✨️

These are easy to knock out, Just get a bow and a bunch of trans arrows, Then keep shooting it and running away so it wont hit you, Then feed it mejoberries and then wait... Theres your bronto thanking you because you tamed it.

In fjudur or whatever it's called if you go to the edge of the world it won't work out for the bronto running into water because it can't it cannot drown.

Go somewhere where the bronto can’t get you then shoot it with tranqs

For lvl 10 bronto u need:

18 tranq arrows

75 berries

Strat:

1.Climb on a big rock

2.Shoot the head(increased damage)

3.Repeat 2 until k.o

4.Feed berries+2/3 narcotics

5.Guard

6.Now u got a Bronto(Name idea Lebronto James)

Here is how to tame a bronto:

Materials:

A few hundred tranq arrows with a primitive crossbow. Bring other crossbows just in case! Also BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.

A flyer with a saddle of course.

A good bronto. Anything 45+ because it’s like doedics they farm a lot no matter the level.

Method 1

1. Find a cliff. Make sure it is high and wide enough.

2. Aggro a bronto and land on the cliff.

3. Shoot with tranq ammo remember to leave a 5 sc gap between shots.

Method 2

1. Whistle a tapejara on follow and switch seats above the bronto.

2. Proceed to knock the beast out.

Use mejoberries or crops to tame the bronto! Bring narcs just in case but I didn’t need any.

Utilities:

Absolute TANK survived Rex’s for 6 minutes.

Good defense Dino with outrageous knockback and AOE.

Currently the absolute best berry farmer in ark.

Pr tip, DO NOT feed them the white berries, if you did not read their description. They make torpor go down really fast!

Headshots have no additional effect against a bronto. Aim for the body, it is just as effective and much easier to hit.

This simply amazing creature in the ark world is the brontosaurus. This creature can mostly spawn anywhere and isn't extremely rare. To knock one out the best strategy I've found is to shoot it twice and get on a dino that is relatively quick and run away for a few seconds (very useful because it gives the narco time to take affect) next you get of the Dino again and shoot it two more times (or more depending on your distance from the brontosaurus). It does take quite a bit but afterward throw some carbonimius kibble or some mejoberries in it and wait for a bit. After you tame it the best thing it's for is the massive amount of berrys you can get by swinging your tail at a large group of bushes. It's also convenient because you can put a platform on its back to place strucures on. Finally it is very good at attacking thing because it knocks them back really far and does a lot of damage. That's pretty much all you need to know about taming and using the great brontosaurus!!!

Bronto are slow just shoot shocks or tranqs and walk backwards. Use large rocks to jam them they struggle to cross non flat terrain. Use EXCEPTIONAL kibble to tame high levels or you will be waiting 5-10 min even from starve using berries or veg.

Bronto can carry as many people as you like with or without platform saddle aslong as weight limit is not exceeded. (There is no seat for passangers to mount)

When taming, remember to not place wood or thatch traps.

Use stone metal or TEK.
