It's funny every time my friend comes with me to the valguero wyvern trench she almost dies. First she almost got blasted by an ice wyvern. Then we get attacked by a fire wyvern. Then she gets tranqiulized by a snake as soon as she lands for a wyvern egg. Then another fire wyvern attacks while she is asleep. Then when I get my egg we get swarmed and they chase us all the way out of the arctic biome. Then when I go alone there is not a single wyvern in sight.
