I killed a giga with 5 high levels they are easy to tame and good for breeding

Literal walking death machine gun. High levels can wreck Rex and below easy.

If your playing with a friend you can tame it if your friend walks up to it with a wooden shield an you shoot it with just a bow you’ll knock it out

These guys are turrets sent from heaven, they do 20 damage per shot in turret mode, granted they have a very fast fire rate, if your mounting it and you shoot its needles, it will do damage based on its melee damage. These are organic turrets

The needles ground flyers. Even wyverns.

Best incubation heat for eggs is 30 to get full boost. -Same guy who did the tips for Rock Drake

If you are playing on the switch you can't turn turret mode on, when press the R-Stick(for Crouching) you have to click the || L || to turn turret on when you are riding it. To shot then click ZR

Fit through dino gates with no issues.

Can fit through a stone gate walking in or out

People do not tell how fun this guys are. Although they can be painful to tame ( i tame mine with a xbow and nearly died 3 times) they are soooo worth it. Maybe not the strongest dino alive, but it is such a blast to mount it to shoot everything down

Actual tip: when mounted in turret mode, go to first person to better accuracy :)

So I found a use for the quetz and platform saddle. Slap one of these bad boys on there and boom. Prehistoric ac130

Velonasaur's have three attacks as far as I'm concerned. Bite, spike tail whip, thorn machine gun. They can jump and sprint but not while aiming to shoot thorns. Hope this helps people Just starting to tame new creatures!

If you have good armor, just run up to its face and tranq, cause it can't use needles point blank. If you don't have the best armor, run up behind, shoot its butt, and then it'll go into turret mode and you just run up close and it'll stay in turret mode but can't hit you.

When tameing if you have a flyer that can pick use a 4by4 with door frames all a round then pick the velo up and drop it in box and use a crossbow or whatever preferred to knock it out-and then go to snow zone to find a Ovis pick. Then wait 10min then kill the ovis and then put the raw mutton in it.

When tamed use LB to enter turret while riding, on Xbox.

If you want kill it use a good level Gas bag

High level pack of atleast 5 of these are enough to take down any Dino.

They shoot spines witch go strait till it hits somthing ,

Unlike arows witch constantly curve down

Use large bear traps to tame them because they cant shoot you while trapped and you dont need many shots to knock them down. For example you need two large bear traps for a lvl 5.
