Inescapable death chapter 6
Skullhelm scurried through the thick undergrowth until she was confronted by the teK wall of the arena, she quickly searched around for what she was looking for and found it after a few minutes:
A loose patch on the wall just the size of her raptor skull helmet.
She dexterously twisted and pulled it until it became just loose enough to pull out, the octagonal panel was near instantly and entirely seamlessly replaced by a new one with a few mechanical clicks, but the monkey had what she needed.
Wasting no time, she removed her helmet and touched the teK to it's bone surface, with whirring commotion the teK panel bent and rebuilt itself around the skull until it perfectly resembled the head of a teK raptor, Skullhelm put the newly rebuilt helmet back on and continued on her way.

Z.É.T.A walked along a massive fallen tree, the size of a redwood but shaped like the huge tropical plants towering above.
"Hold up. What's that smell?" Éta suddenly exclaimed, the troodons stopped to sniff the air, and indeed their sensitive snouts picked up on something odd, the smell was dead flesh, not unusual, the strange part was that it was getting closer, accompanied by small footsteps.
"This. May. Be. Bad" said Alpha between gritted fangs, "for once I agree with you" said all of the rest of Z.É.T.A.
From the undergrowth below the log came the sound of small, nimble hands grasping and scraping on rotten wood.
"It's climbing up the log!" Théta hissed, just as a small mesopithecus hand tinted with just a little gangrene appeared over the top of the log, all four looked down, and there, somewhat rotting and with a hole over the base of his neck, but very recognisable, was Cinder.
The zombie Cinder crawled closer up the log, it's movements slow and jerky, like some kind of praying mantis. The four troodons stood very still, until a large, extremely unattractive black tendril tipped with a ring of fangs snaked it's way out of the monkey's neck and snaked towards them, Cinder's normally yellow eyes pulsating bright magenta in a mesmerising way,
"Run!" Screamed all of Z.É.T.A, so perfectly in unison that it seemed as if Alpha had been one of them for ever.
Oblivion chapter 3
Skullhelm walked through the jungle, 'find Storm II, kill Sapphire if she tries to get him herse-' The monkey was thinking, as a giant titanoboa emerged from the undergrowth, she ran from it until she got to a tree, and scampered up it. Before leaping down and sawing the snake in half with her helmet teeth, a trick she had perfected on savoroots and dodos.
Continuing on, she was suddenly startled by the unusual appearance of a portal in the sky. "Hello all participants" Poecilotheria metallica's voice said, "I am here to announce that I am upping the natural forces for a quicker and more horrendous death for you lot! Be ready for monstrous creatures, massive storms, and onyx swarms every night, sssee you if you ssssurvive!"
And Poecilotheria's portal closed in a flash, Skullhelm noted how happy the creature seemed to be that they were dying in here. . .
Z, É, and T suddenly arrived, covered in what appeared to be carno viscera, the troodons turned their glowing eyes toward her in unison, in one moment, Zéta pounced, Skullhelm reacted as fast as she could, yanking a tooth from her helmet, she stabbed Zéta in the eye, spraying blood and vitreous humour all over the place, the other two troodons picked up their fallen brother and ran away.
~•|÷=÷=÷|•~
Éta and Théta hurried back to the cave the trio had discovered, holding their injured white sibling between them, he was still bleeding from his punctured eyeball, and tears were flowing out attempting to quench the downpour of blood, though failing miserably.
Éta ripped the leaf off of a large jungle plant and used it to cover what was left of the eye.
"I'll definitely live" said Zéta weakly.
"Well we'll have to be rid of this thing" said the darkest of the three, Théta, looking gravely at the leaf that covered the ramsons of Zéta's eye.
"Agr-" replied Éta, being cut off by Zéta as he said "-eed"
"At least he's still healthy enough to do that annoying thing" said Théta.
Using his hand claws, Éta proceeded to carefully probe behind Zéta's ruined eye until he felt the optic nerve and the six slim muscles that moved the eye, he carefully snipped the muscles, Zéta wincing in pain, and used the base of his claw to pressure the optic nerve until he heard the horrible wet, squelching pop of the nerve severing.
He hooked the eyeball in his claw and tossed it away, bandaging Zéta with another leaf, this one from a banana plant.
"Am I interrupting anything?" Asked a voice from the entrance, the troodons looked up to see Sapphire standing, almost as covered in blood as they were,
"Well, you are if you were here for more than five seconds" said Éta.
"Rhetorical question, brother" said Zéta, rolling his remaining eye.
"Oh"
Oblivion chapter 2
Sapphire dropped down onto the floor of the arena, she quickly picked herself up, ready to kill somebody.
Nearby, she saw that The Human was standing looking in the opposite direction to her, quickly readying a rock to smash onto the incapacitated Storm II's head "that one is MINE" Sapphire calmly said, she leapt upon The Human from behind, spreading her venom in a sharp bite to the neck.
wasting no time, she tore out his eyeball and pecked his head clean of flesh.
As she raised her bloodstained head, ready to snap the infernal monkey's limbs off and devour him bit by bit, Storm II hissed and ran off into the jungle.
"Let him go" she said to herself ". . .He'll die soon enough"
She left the mutilated corpse of The Human and ran away.
~•|÷=÷=÷|•~
As this happened, Cinder was undergoing a similar lecture from Poecilotheria metallica, at the spider's last word, he was dropped down into the arena,
Landing on the ground near the corpse of The Human, he straightened the chitin helmet he always wore and prepared to find Storm The Second...
So when I encountered a Troodon I immediately wanted it so I nocked it out and I saw no taming bar so I thought I could not tame Troodons, I was so sad until I got Dododex and it said it needed to be passively tamed. Once I found out I was so happy. Thank you for reading this hole thing it is a little long😄🦖
The Arks: Over Heaven (by Ben)
Chapter 71: Septima
Author's Note: Another miscalculation made 😭 Go to Murder Turkey for Chapter 70 of TAOH.
Agent Terra walked down the empty hallways, looking left and right, her hands behind her back clasped gently. Her earthy brown hair softly trailed behind her in the form of a bun. Her grass green suit was fading of its color. She had many wrinkles across her face.
Agent Terra was tired.
“I just want to be home, with the others,” Agent Terra thought as she peered into Agent Jackpot’s office. He was noticeably absent. He had been for a while now, ever since the second week the scholars had been transported to the ARK. The President claimed that he was on an important mission, but Agent Terra didn’t believe it one bit.
“What other choice do we have?”
Agent Terra continued to browse through all of the absent offices. After the President announced the appearance of the ARK in the night sky and the disappearances of the scholars at Terran High, they had also gone out on “important missions”. Agent Terra didn’t know what the President did with them, but it couldn’t have been good.
Agent Terra finally stopped at Agent Ash’s office. Agent Terra had always been close with her. They used to go out to get ice cream all the time, until that day.
That ill-fated day.
~
They weren’t always agents working for Dan Walker.
They weren’t always working for an evil cause.
They were family.
Tessa walked through the park with Kiara, and the both of them held ice cream cones, licking away happily. Kiara was eating minty chocolate chip, while Tessa was eating rocky road. It was just a peaceful day out, it was a nice, bright summer’s day, and school was finally out. Kiara had decided to treat Tessa to ice cream, as a celebration for good times to come.
Life couldn’t get any better than this.
“Tessa, is something wrong?” Kiara finally asked, breaking the silence. Tessa sighed, taking another lick from her ice cream.
“No. No, nothing’s wrong.”
Kiara tossed the rest of her ice cream away into a trash can nearby, and wiped herself with a napkin. She brushed her short orange hair to the side and closed her eyes sadly.
“If it has to do with our parents…”
“I don’t want to talk about it. Kiara, why? Why did all of them have to go? Go to that cursed building? It doesn’t make sense. Who sent them there?”
Kiara put a hand on Tessa’s shoulder, rubbing it slightly. Her hand felt warm and comforting. Tessa melted to her touch.
“Tessa. I know you think Mr. Walker has something to do with this, but I’m sure he doesn’t. He’s still grieving from his own wife’s death, and he’d never do anything to them. They’re his siblings, after all. You never hurt your family. You protect them.”
Tessa looked down at the floor, tears building up in her eyes.
“I miss them so much.”
Tessa’s tears were cut off by the sound of someone calling out to them.
“Tessa! Kiara!”
Tessa looked up to see a boisterous boy with a black side part run up to them. It was Colton, another relative, with his sister, Eva. Eva smiled softly and saluted them. She was bald.
“Hey! Enjoying ice cream? Can I have a drop?”
Eva ran up to Tessa and tried to steal a drop. Tessa quickly pulled her arm away with a smirk.
“Come on. Manners!” Kiara scolded Eva. Eva frowned.
“Right. Can I PLEASE have some ice cream?”
Tessa sighed, and put the cone into Eva’s begging hand.
“Fine. You can have the rest. I’m not feeling it today anyway.”
As Eva gobbled up the ice cream, Colton placed his arm on Kiara’s shoulder, who was barely taller than him. Colton’s eyes darted around. There was nobody around except for them. The only sounds were of nature, and the rustling leaves from the wind.
“So, did you get the text from Danny too? He told us that we should all meet up here.”
“Shhh, keep it down! It’s supposed to be a surprise for Tessa,” Kiara whispered to him, “I hope this will cheer her up.”
“Ooh, okay okay, I guess we’ll wait for Fred, Jackson, and Danny to get here and we can decide what to do next.”
Tessa pretended like she didn’t hear what they were just whispering about, but she couldn’t help but smile at the effort. Tessa placed her hands in her pockets and leaned against a tree, waiting for the others to arrive.
A few minutes passed, and soon enough, two familiar boys were walking down the stone pathway toward them. One, Jackson, had his hands on a toy sword, spinning it round and round. He had spiky hair that had streaks of magenta and he was whistling a tune. The other, Fred, had a ponytail and a thick bang that was in front of his forehead. He was tossing a coin up and down in the air. It was his iconic ancient coin from the 1700s. He always brought it with him for good luck. His dad had gotten him for it a very long time ago. Every time the coin landed in Fred’s palm, it displayed heads.
“Colton! Tessa! Kiara! Eva!” Jackson called out.
“Fred, Jackson!” Colton shouted back, “You got it too, right?”
Fred snatched the coin as soon as it hit his palm, and he pocketed it.
“Yes we did. He should be arriving any moment now.”
Immediately as Fred said that, soft footsteps rang throughout the grass. All heads turned to see a teen with tired eyes but a soft smile approach them. He had a few gray hairs, and was wearing a black shirt and white sweatpants. As soon as he stepped forward to greet them, the wind seemingly intensified. Tessa got chills down her spine. The oldest of them all: Danny.
“My dear cousins, I’m glad you’ve called me out here!” Danny announced with a smile. Everyone cheered. Except for Tessa.
“Yeah! Let’s play some games and partayyy!” Jackson said, waving his toy sword around.
“What should we play first? You know what, let’s parkour! Look at the obstacles around here!” Colton suggested.
“Nah. We should play fight. That sounds way cooler,” Kiara argued.
“JUMP IN THE POND AND SCARE THE DUCKS!” Fred screamed.
As everyone began to yell out suggestions, Tessa began to get a queasy feeling in her stomach. It felt like the air was getting heavier, and strange colors began to flash across her eyes. Red, blue, and green.
“WAIT!” Tessa cried. Everyone looked at her. Kiara raised her eyebrow.
“Are you okay? You look really sick,” Kiara said. She rushed to hold Tessa up. Tessa began to sweat, and she turned to Danny quickly.
“Danny! Who sent you that message? To meet up at the park?”
Danny shrugged.
“It was Kiara! She sent one to everyone, right?”
“What?” Kiara realized, “I didn’t send you anything! YOU were the one who invited us here!”
Kiara suddenly began to turn white. Jackson dropped his coin to the floor. It rattled around, and then landed tails.
“Wait a moment.”
All seven of them felt a jolt of pain in their left wrist, and then the whole park washed with a green, blue, and red light. And in an instant, they all passed out.
After that day, they ended up in a strange forest filled with dinosaurs.
Tessa didn’t want to remember anything after that. But one moment stuck out to her in particular. That day, they were finally going to escape the forest, confront the one behind it all, and kill him. That way it could never happen again.
So it was unfortunate there was a mole in the group.
~
“Are we ready?” Danny asked gruffly. He was carrying a futuristic rifle, and was wearing futuristic armor. The others had similar weapons and armor. They all nodded in unison, waiting at the strange futuristic gate for Danny to put the keys in. Fred seemed anxious, but the others didn’t know why.
Danny walked up to the terminal and inserted all three keys into their designated keyholes. As he placed the final key in, the gate began to hum with power, and it slowly opened up. Mist poured out of the gate, and everyone shielded their eyes. Danny raised his rifle.
Five gunshots rang throughout the air.
BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM!
Tessa collapsed to the ground, and her vision faded to nothing as she felt blood pour from her chest.
~
Tessa groggily woke up in a prison cell, her hands shackled together with chains. She felt a great pain in her chest that still echoed. She looked around to see all of her cousins groggily waking up too. Laughter rang from the jail bars, and Tessa’s head jolted to see a man in a black suit and red tie standing there, clapping his hands. Tessa’s eyes widened, and she glared.
“Mr. Walker! It was YOU all along?”
The others were too shocked to speak. Well, except for Colton. Colton rushed up to the bars and slammed into them. Mr. Walker didn’t budge an inch and smirked at the action.
“YOU were the one who killed our parents, huh? You killed your own siblings, you sick monster!”
“Okay, you’re saying that as if it’s a big deal?” Mr. Walker laughed, although he had a hint of regret in his voice, “Now now, don’t worry. I’ve extracted all your stories already so I don’t have to worry about killing you. Anyway, you’ll notice that one of you is missing from the cell~”
Tessa quickly looked around the room, and her heart dropped.
“Where’s Fred?!”
Footsteps rang throughout the jail, and a familiar boy walked up to Mr. Walker, staring on at the others with pity. It was Fred. He had a solemn look on his face and he looked away as he met Tessa’s eyes.
“Hmm, you guys wanna guess what happened?” Mr. Walker said, walking back and forth, “Well. Basically I was watching in on you guys and was getting suspicious since you guys seemed to be really mad and seemed to know who was behind all this. So I radioed in on one of you and that person let me know that you were all going to try to kill me. Neat, huh?”
Jackson, who was sitting in the corner of the room, sobbing, turned to Fred with horror in his eyes.
“Fred? What did you do?”
Fred frowned.
“I’m sorry, you guys. He promised not to hurt us.”
“Fred, how could you?!” Colton cried, “We, we could’ve gotten him! I know we could have! With Danny’s help we could have-”
“Ehhh, I don’t think Danny’s helping out soon. He’s dead LMAO. Besides y’all are WEAK, you wouldn’t have stood a chance even with that TEK weaponry!!!”
Mr. Walker let out a maniacal laugh, and Fred looked at him worryingly. Eva was sobbing her eyes out too along with Jackson, and Kiara sat on the floor, hopeless.
Mr. Walker took five minutes to stop laughing. He wiped away his tears, and then gripped the bars so tight that veins appeared in his hands.
“Listen. Fred’s right, ya’ know. I’m not gonna hurt you as long as you listen. So if you all become my loyal agents willing to do whatever is necessary for my plans then I won’t kill you. But if you refuse, I’ll kill you, and if you try any funny business as an agent I’ll torture you. Sounds awesome! So, what’s it gonna be? Fred’s already agreed!”
Everyone was hesitant at first. Colton clenched his fists in rage. He opened his mouth to utter “NO” when Kiara finally spoke up.
“What other choice do we have?” Kiara muttered, “Danny’s gone. Our parents are gone. We’re here rotting in this cell. MIght as well just give up. Become agents.”
“I guess that’s a yes!” Mr. Walker said eagerly, “Now what about the rest of you?”
One by one, following Kiara, they gave their lives up to Mr. Walker, leaving Tessa the last to decide. No one turned to face her, except Mr. Walker.
“And how about you?”
Tessa wanted to try her best to yell out NO, that she’d never work for someone like him, but Kiara turned to her with pleading eyes.
“Please,” she whispered to Tessa. Tessa turned to her, and tears began to brew.
“I don’t want you gone,” Kiara whispered.
After thirteen minutes of hard thinking, Tessa gave her answer.
But in a way, they died anyway.
~
“Agent Terra, report to Mr. Dan Walker’s office immediately.”
“Agent Terra, report to Mr. Dan Walker’s office immediately.”
Agent Terra shook herself out of her reminiscence. She pried her eyes away from Agent Ash’s eyes and quickly made her way to his office. As she walked up to the door, she placed her hand on the handle and slowly opened it up. A blinding light filled her eyes, and as it cleared she saw the President standing upright, a big smile on his face. On the table were holograms of three strange creatures. One was a giant green spider, another was a vicious-looking ape, and the last was a dragon that breathed fire.
“Why hello! My final agent! Crazy how history repeats itself. Now I’m getting straight to the point. You’re being merged with a giant spider and you’re basically gonna be it until you either die or kill whoever summons you.”
Agent Terra reached for her pistol. The President’s implant glowed purple, and Agent Terra suddenly froze in place. She tried to move, and she resisted as hard as she could, but nothing changed. The President walked up to Agent Terra and grinned.
“You’re probably wondering where the other agents went. Well, I merged them too,” he monologues, “At first I didn’t think the process would work. That’s why I needed an experiment. Agent Jackpot’s spirit now lives within one of the survivors. Once that was successful, I took the rest of them and merged them with these guardians.”
The President waved his hand toward the three beasts.
“Now. It’s your turn. I haven’t merged anyone with the spider yet. The body types between both organisms are wayy different. At least the dragon has hands, and the ape is related to us humans. So I thought it’d be kinda cool to merge YOU with it. The last agent to decide her fate… Fitting, huh?”
Agent Terra glared.
“You are gonna pay. I promise you. One way or another, someone will put you back in your place. One way, you’ll-”
Agent Terra let out a shriek, as her body began to disintegrate and distort into that of the guardian. The President let out a chuckle, turning away to face the guardians’ holograms. The spider’s began to flash rapidly.
“Well. Goodbye, Tessa. It was a fun ride. See you never.”
And with that, Tessa was gone.
And so was Dan.
Inescapable death chapter 10
Skullhelm walked through a dank cavern, her gold chitin armour glistening in thelight of luminous mushrooms and the glowing eyes of her teK skull helmet.
Stopping at an area with a small pit filled with sharp stalagmites, she nimbly clambered down to the bases of the stone spikes, she used the teK infused fangs of her raptor helmet to test each one for hardness, all but three of the stalagmites shattered to pieces, and two of the remainder were blunt, but the last one was perfectly sharp, she marked it by scratching a cross into the ground with the sharp edge of one of her chitin gauntlets, and the monkey went deeper into the cave.
Here, further into the cave systems, the stone walls were hardly even solid. The underground rivers and the roots of trees having loosened it until it was more like gravel than solid rock, and this meant that hiding was very easy for the creature Skullhelm was hunting, just such a creature then suddenly shook the coarse earthy floor of from it's shimmering shelled back and rose up on it's countless jointed legs, an arthropleura had been unearthed, Skullhelm leapt for the creature, grabbing it by the spindly antennae and swinging herself onto it's head, the beast reared and shook it's body, dislodging the monkey and sending her flying onto the rooty ground.
Skullhelm ran away and sure enough the centipede followed, she led her assailant back to the stalagmites she had marked, the arthro reared up onto it's hind legs and spat it's own acidic green blood at Skullhelm, she dodged the ooze and it spattered onto the stalagmite, melting a shard from the top just the right size for a mesopithecus to use for a weapon, some glops of the blood sailed through the air from the impact, however, one of these landed back on the arthropleura, causing no effect, another disintegrated with just a little bit of oxidisation to Skullhelm's teK raptor helmet, but the last sailed onward and hit it's mark, it hit Skullhelm's arm just below her wrist, splashing outward as the surrounding fur and chitin armour started to hiss and steam, the blob burnt straight half of her lower arm, the withered skeletal remains of which promptly fell onto the floor and shrivelled into soil, the monkey collapsed in pain as the arthro scurried closer, clicking it's fangs with joy, Skullhelm slowly reached out with her long tail and grabbed the stalagmite shard, just as the centipede was observing the monkey wondering which bit of a monkey is best if left to rot for what time, when Skullhelm pushed the pointed stalagmite through it's mandible. The centipede screeched in pain and anger as it's surprisingly dangerous lunch pulled the stalagmite out from it's fang, which was virtually free of acidic blood and so left the stone undamaged, and bludgeoned it's head clean off with the blunter end of the stone spike, the body writhed for a few moments, it's many legs kicking randomly, green acid spurting from it's neck dissolving parts of the floor and walls, then was still.
Skullhelm used some cave plants to bind the amazingly not bleeding stump of her hand, it seemed that the acid had melted the tips of most of the arteries shut.
She then stabbed her weapon into a rare mushroom growing from a bunch nearby, covering it's point in toxic juice, and picked the rest to arm the weapon later, and ran out into the sun, to search for Storm the Second.
~•|=÷=÷=|•~
Z.É.T.A were now quickly memorising a new law into their pack code:
NEVER, IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD
Storm Loki Herpus Batrider Ignis Longfangs Varus The Second be held prisoner with no precautions against the following:
Everything.
Storm II was now held constantly tranquilized using a method involving extensive cranial trauma and a big, firm log, as well as at the bottom of a pit Z.É.T.A had dug, tied up with vines from head to tail, gagged, hung upside down, and blinded using rare mushrooms at all times, and was still escaping daily,
Z.É.T.A were now preparing a smooth rock to remove his vital organs on for a celebratory feast commemorating their vanquishment of Storm The Second.
"I don't see why the little furred pest keeps attempting escape, if I were him I'd just resign to my fate and hope I die painfully for being that particular monkey"
Éta said, Zéta nodded his frosty white head in agreement. "The problem with these primates is that they lack saurian aspects, us reptiles are much superior in intellect"
"Your reptilian wisdom knows no bounds if you have come to admit this" Théta replied
As this conversation between the Z.É.T. happened, Alpha quickly used the large curved claw on her foot to carefully sever a tendon in the pithecine hand belonging to Storm II as it tried to get out of the pit, she heard the sentient irritation yelp in pain below and he snatched his hand back down -one finger quite stiff and immovable-
Before Z.É.T.A could further discuss the immense superiority of reptiles over the rest of the universe, Skullhelm, dressed in a miniature gold set of chitin armour, a teK raptor head, a few bloodstains and cuts, and with one arm replaced by some sort of stake, leapt from an overhanging palm, used the stone spike in place of her arm to flick Storm The Second from his pit and pinned him to the ground with it.
"Oh, you arrived just in time, we were preparing that for supper" Zéta said, gesturing with his hand claw at the black monkey.
Inescapable death chapter 8
Skullhelm scurried over a clearing in the forest, she stopped to eat some berries she'd gathered earlier.
The monkey looked at the horizon, the sun was setting fast, and she knew the onyc would soon be out.
Skullhelm was literally shaken out of her thoughts by a sudden earthquake.
A weird beast burst it's body from the ground,
It had the head of a megaloceros, a bulky, earth covered body that looked like an ankie's, a long, thagomiser tipped tail like a stegosaurus, and a small tree rooted to the covering of soil on it's back.
The creature looked at Skullhelm, it didn't seem too aggressive, it just stared and blinked a little.
Then three large, iridescent gold solifuges wriggled out of the dirt on it's back,
The spider like beasts made a scuttling advance toward their monkey quarry.
Skullhelm hit one away with a sideways swipe of her helmet, while another was bitten to a pulpy mess by the fangs of the teK head.
The two survivors righted themselves and came towards her again, holding their ludicrously enormous chelicerae in front of them.
She simply sawed one to bits, but she needed the other one's corpse whole.
She ran around behind the remaining beast and hit it upward with the tip of her helmet snout.
The solifuge landed upside down with it's legs in the air, it flipped itself up and leapt forward, stinging Skullhelm with it's fangs.
She grabbed the creature and wedged it between the teeth of her teK helmet.
It scuttled it's legs franticly attempting an escape, she took it to a hollow stump that had filled with rainwater and dunked it in, it trod the water with it's eight legs even more vigorously until it went limp and drowned.
Skullhelm brought it back up and, using its remains and the fibres stripped from a banana leaf, built a miniature set of chitin armour, built specifically for monkey use, as it was much more flexible than the chitin armour made by humans. She put on her new suit of armour and prepared to find the final ingredient to destroy Storm The Second once and for all, a good weapon.
Inescapable death chapter 7
Storm The Second gazed down upon the jungle from the back of his onyc.
Searching, his search was cut off by the sight of four troodons
-one black, one ash gray, one white, and one blue- "perfect" he said to himself,
Then he saw something else down there, it was Cinder, although with some kind of tentacle on his back, attacking the troodons. "Even better. No need to kill them myself" he flapped away on his bat.
~•|÷=÷=÷|•~
Down far below, Z.É.T.A quickly turned and ran, the Cinder creature may have been deadly up close, but it was a terrible runner, trying to keep up it simply collapsed.
"That was very close" panted Éta,
"What do you think happened to Cinder that made him a maniraptocidal undead squid?"
Théta wondered.
"I don't know, nor do I care" replied Alpha.
Inescapable death
(Formerly Oblivion, until Apex turned up and I found out that they were writing something with the same name in shadowmane)
Storm The Second ran through the darkened jungle, a whole swarm of onyx were flying behind him, screaming and snapping their jaws.
With a quick turn and hop into a hollow log, he lost the bats, before doubling back and taking one from behind, he pinned it down and fed it some meat he'd gotten from a dodo flock earlier, after some feeding, he released the onyc, and it did an aerial loop de loop before landing again, Storm II climbed onto the bat's furry back, blessing his small size.
He flapped up into the night.
~•|÷=÷=÷|•~
Cinder hid in the jungle under a large rock, there were hundreds, if not thousands, of onyc flapping through the night sky.
Looking at the swarms, he could swear he saw a lone onyc with a silhouette on it's back, but a moment later it was gone.
Before Cinder could put further thought into the bat rider, the ground in front of him erupted up, revealing a huge head attached to a slim, long neck, the head was indescribably strange, it was shaped like a dilo's, but with about six pairs of frills layered behind each other, it had the teeth of a megalodon, with added mammoth tusks, no eyes, and a lower jaw that was oddly crooked downwards at the end.
The monster screeched, and from inside it's mouth slithered an eye on a long muscular stalk, the eyeball locked onto Cinder, flashing bright neon pink, the monkey was instantaneously killed by the flash, and the creature slithered a twhiplike tentacle up from the ground and carefully inserted it into his spine, the dead Cinder's corpse came to life, it shambled over to the main body, it's movements jerky, like a marionette, the head carefully bit off it's own tentacle, leaving it lodged inside the controlled monkey.
The atrocious monstrosity and the undead monkey went in different directions, disappearing into the night (or in the monster's case, the ground).
Corrupted ARK
Chapter four.
The troodon pack had escaped the corruption, but had to find a new place to live as their home was infested with corruption, they managed to find themselves at a cliff near the swamp,it had an easy water source but no prey.
They gazed at the unforgiving swamp, seeing no signs of movement, which annoyed them,no dinosaurs nearby means no food for them, they started building their den,and a group of 3 of them went to drink some water, half way through building their home, they heard a commotion coming from the swamp.
A Kaprosuchus was attempting to scare the troodons off,not knowing they had a bigger pack.
The Kaprosuchus lunged, grabbing a troodon by the neck, while shaking the troodon,it was tackled by the troodons, the rest of the pack ran down to assist their friends, with 10 or so Troodons, the Kaprosuchus was an easy meal, while one troodon had been injured, they all had a source of food
