Best way to tame a 150 is with cooked fish meat!

You can make a trapper on a Quetz. I used four stone foundation, one small dino gate on the front, 6 doorframes without doors on the bottom, and two ramps on the left, right and backside. Make sure the Quetz has decent speed; mine is about 230%. When you see a Tapejara quickly fly right at it and the second you think it's in the trapper hop off the Quetz! Otherwise, the Tape will fly right through the walls. It takes a bit of practice, I've captured two this way so far. A lvl 60 and a lvl 145. :)

All you need to do is wait tell it lands Flys behind and watching from a distance because once agro they will not land agian.. once they have landed have you Bola ready and sneek up behind it wrap it up pull out your rifle and trank darts and only shoot IN THE WINGS or you will kill it.. then all you need to do is put the kibble/prime/meat and narcotic witch you sold have on hand and feed your new tame

I took down a 140 female on the center map by getting my quetzal with a platform underneath it while wearing a ghille suit. The tapajera would land on the platform and I could bola it. Unfortunately it slides off the platform to the ground but it's useful to get those high in the sky ones if you don't have a pachyrhinosuarus to use on it.

Don't try to bola it,wait till it labs then shoot it in the head for low leveled tapajarars.

Use a bola and trap it then tranq it, if it is a high level one I would use multiple bolas to keep it trapped while u tame it

Is level 100 on mobile get toxic any arrows compound bow and a bola give soothing balm and prime meat

So if you finnaly find a tapejara but its in a terrible area to tame or it keeps running from you, use RARE FLOWERS. By eating them it gets the tapejara to agro to you so make sure you have enough health to deal with the attacks. While the tapejara is chasing you, you can lead it to your base or wherever your ideal taming spot is. They will also not fly away but you need to make sure you have a ton of rare flowers or when the effect runs out, it will fly off and never be seen again :,D

Really no need to craft a whole ghillie suit for this. Totally unnecessary. You just need a couple of bolas and some good aim. Throw them from a distance, they spook easy.

I tamed a tapejara with raw meat I crafted a saddle for it entered into the redwoods to fight the alpha carno it brought friends my tapejara couldn't take off coz S A B E R T O O T H S are in the way and RIP my tapejara up to not let this happen to u

A quick albeit risky way to tame one is to use a Dire Wolf/Raptor/Sabertooth and rush at it with a bola, with some skill you can bola it before it has a chance to react and are free to tranq it.

Just bola and hit him with a crossbiw.

Here’s how I did it it’s so simple. If your into cheats like me press tab on computer on Xbox lb rb x and y on the controller and type this: GCM and then dotame for forcetame.

(Forcetame makes you able to ride the target with no saddle) then use dotame or forcetame and look at the animal

Just bring like 10-15 bolas and stand a ways back and chuck bolas at it until you hit it and then you walk up to it and 360 noscope it in the face

If you see one landing and you didn’t have a ghillie suit and only one bola

Well then hope you got aim from far range cause once they start running they will never be found again lol

You can eat rare flowers to agro it which is great for an easy efficient tame.
