If you are an low LVL and can't get an Gili then just stalk it until it goes down then you bola and punch or tranq it but if you have Gili you still need to stalk it but you would not be found that easily by the tapejara I promise you it's worth it trying to get an tapejara

Hi I'm epic jelly and today I'm going to be teach you how to tame one of these headless chicken's. Step 1. The tapejara is skittish and will fly away when aproacht ore when winding a bola up on LAND but they don't run if you aproacht and wind up from waters so find one near water and wind bola in water and surprise throw it

Step 2. Knock it out with club,slingshot,crossbow and tranq ore longneck rifle and darts ECT.

This ring tames sowely without kibble do you're going to want prime meat ore kibble

Step 3. Keep it onconcius long enoth(if you're a mobile player buy a soothing balm).

Step 4. Give you're tapejara a sick name

Step 5. Enjoy you're new ride that can carry more than a pteranadon and is faster then a pteranadon(it can also hang on 90-160 degrees cliffs(meaning very steep ore overhangs)

If u have no ghillie suit it's ok as long as you have rare flowers a pteranodon bola then just up to one and use the flower it than land your pteranodon and bola it by the way it will focus your pteranodon and it's fast food luck

I tamed mine by having a mate take it back to base with flowers then I just Bola it and tranq it for an easy tame

What I do is I grab my argy and head to the volcano, chase a tapejara along the volcano until it glitches into a rock and tranq it while its stuck, works like a charm :)

Just bola, tranq, feed then you have a tapejara.

If you don’t have ghilie use rare flowers and make them attack a high hp tame. While they attack it just try and hit it with a bola then tranq it

So if you finnaly find a tapejara but its in a terrible area to tame or it keeps running from you, use RARE FLOWERS. By eating them it gets the tapejara to agro to you so make sure you have enough health to deal with the attacks. While the tapejara is chasing you, you can lead it to your base or wherever your ideal taming spot is. They will also not fly away but you need to make sure you have a ton of rare flowers or when the effect runs out, it will fly off and never be seen again :,D

Really no need to craft a whole ghillie suit for this. Totally unnecessary. You just need a couple of bolas and some good aim. Throw them from a distance, they spook easy.

Don't up, just silently agree if you think people who ask for ups are pathetic. Makes going thru tips super annoying!

I tamed a tapejara with raw meat I crafted a saddle for it entered into the redwoods to fight the alpha carno it brought friends my tapejara couldn't take off coz S A B E R T O O T H S are in the way and RIP my tapejara up to not let this happen to u

A quick albeit risky way to tame one is to use a Dire Wolf/Raptor/Sabertooth and rush at it with a bola, with some skill you can bola it before it has a chance to react and are free to tranq it.

Just bola and hit him with a crossbiw.

Here’s how I did it it’s so simple. If your into cheats like me press tab on computer on Xbox lb rb x and y on the controller and type this: GCM and then dotame for forcetame.

(Forcetame makes you able to ride the target with no saddle) then use dotame or forcetame and look at the animal

To tame, simply craft a bola, and sneak up on it. Once you get close, begin to wind up the bola. Throw it once you have a clean shot. Once it’s stuck, shoot it with a tranq arrow or two. Make sure to bring some prime meat!!!

Step 2: shoot in head with tranq dart

Step 3: lots of meat

Tame yourself 2 allos and breed them even more, Then get yourself allo kibble then you’ll will want some more. (Did you hear the rhyme?)

The easiest way to tame the tapejara is: get a bola and find a tapejara. Then you run near it and bola it as fast as you can. Then you must punch it with wooden club or with your fists till its unconscious. Feed it meat or prime meat and you have your tapejara. And you dont really need narcotics because its tamed up fast.

Things that tapejaras can do when you have a saddle on it and ride it:

-Can hang on walls, trees etc.

-Can restore their endurance when you change to passenger seat.

-Can fly forwards, sidewards and backwards

-Player can shoot at dinos while in the air when being on passenger seat.

If on mobile, don’t try to use rare flowers to tame. The rare flower pheromone effect doesn’t exist on mobile. Instead, wait for the tape to land and then quickly bola it. You could also jump off of a flyer and use a parachute to tranq it from the sky, but it is harder to determine if it will pass out in a safe area.
