If you attach yourself to a wall/tree you can shoot while riding it

this is my favorite tame mainly for the fact that it can carry 2 more people 1.at least 5 bolas 2.throw the bola from a distance when it lands 3. pelt it with tranqs on the head

I just rode my pteradon really high up and I found like 5

The easiest way to tame a Tapejara is just stealing it’s egg if it’s a female then it come to attack u while u tranq it(if u can’t find the egg then I don’t know)

Make a trap, eat a rare flower and run into the trap. Shoot it with tranq darts because they don't have much health

When you come up to a Tapejara be very slow and Quiet. When you close enough bola it quick before they fly away and they can fly pretty fast. After you can use a cross bow or a bow to knock it out. If it has low health I would not recommend to hit it in the head several times or it will die. Maybe one or two to the head but take like seven seconds before every shot. Usually depending on its level for example around level ten takes about 15-20 meat. Also bring at least 5 necrotics( depending one level) once again 1-10 level should take no more than around 8. Out some spikes around your Tapejara so no Dino’s kill it. The process it not that long once again depending on the level. Every lower level does not take as much. Then you have your very guild able Tapejara. They move left right forward and back and also can hand on to cliffs and trees. If you found it and have no bola, please dont go back to your base to make some. Get the resources needed nearby because if you go far enough it will probably despawn or fly away.

So these guys are just my favorite like they are very useful. Due to the fact that they can attack on land unlike the pteranodon. So very useful in fact. Though they can be pretty rare they are worth it to tame in single and multiplayer. And it can even hand on rocks, redwood trees and more. But what I would realy like for it to have is the diving ability since the only Dino that can dive on ark mobile would be the griffin. I hope ther realy add this. Hope these tips helped!

They are more commenly found in the south side of the island map but do be carful you will fined lots of rapters there and trust me I know

You need to have bola for taming Tapejara. It is too hard without bola becouse wen You hit it once with trank arrow it will fly away too fast and you won't hit it again.

I had tamed my first one and after taking him around I brought him home and set him on the ground so I could grab something from by base and then I got it’s death message, I went out and killed the raptor who killed it but I was really sad.

Now I see Tapejera’s all the time but I can’t even get close enough to tame them, I even managed to knock one out but the raptors were to fast.

Use a journeyman sniper ,i just 1 hit a tapejara and fell unconsciously with a tranq dart, also, its near in the weakest cave the south , HUGE TIP!!! Dont follow tapejara or it will fleee forever, wait for it to go down, dont follow him ,if u cant see it anymore, wait 2mins and it is on land again,

UP SO MANY PEOPLE CAN SEE AND NOT LOSE A TAPEJARA,

Mobile have 3 seats and it can regen stamina while in air if rider in a passenger seat but the bird has to be high so it won’t land.

I hid in a bush got ma bola and bam he was down and a few tranq arrows some meat and he will be yours.

Om I just started and I found one stuck in a rock so o tamed him and he's cool use prime meat I killed titanboa

Use rare flowers to agro them onto you and bola them while they try to attack you. Lure it away so that other animals don’t agro onto you.

You could use a Dino that can knock them out like an equus, scorpion, frog, and I think lightning wyvern.

I got lucky and ran up on one and he flew into a rock and got stuck so I shot about 3 tranquilizer darts at it and fed it raw meat.

These things are probrably my favorite island flyer probrably my favorite flyer from all the maps, they’re super useful they have decent worthy thier fast and can cling to walls, here’s how you take them

1, Clare the area these things die super easily and already are gonna be low health from the tranques

2. Use a rare flower in a safe area and bola the Dino (bring a few extra bolas things things are fast and hard to hit)

3) once you have a bola around it shoot it in the head with pretty much any tranq thier topped pretty low so it might no be that hard

4) try to give it prime meat once it’s knocked because normal takes a lot longer and there’s things aren’t easy to defend

And then you have your upgraded pt that’s super fun to use and is debatably one of the beast flyers
