Set up 4 Dino gateways with a gap in the last one large enough for you to run through. Place gate at one end and equip other gate to hot bar. Eat rare flowers while on bird leading back to trap. Run inside trap, place door in opening, And proceed to tranq out

On Ragnorok they spawn by desert waterfall and all the way down the ravine up to wyvern cove

Best way to tame is to get it stuck in some rocks, (if it’s stupid enough) then tranq it out (might need bolas), then use soothing balm if high leveled, and boom! Very own 3-seat plane

Rare flowers, bolas and a tank mount like an argy then tranquilise and tame

They are super speedy so good luck catching it!

Shoot it with a dodo arrow (or whatever it's called) and it will agro to you, don't make the same mistake I did when I chased one of these things around a mountain multiple times until it finally got stuck and I was able to knock it out.

This advice goes for any fly able knock them out them build a building around them not essential but they can get away if wake up or they can be attacked

Tapping Tapejara...

If you already have a tape, and you’re flying and running low on stamina, switch to the passenger seat and it will regain stam!

To tame it I found one in the wild and aimed at its head with my rifle and shot tranq darts at it, KOd instantly

Realized this during a test, but tapejaras can act as an incredibly fast poison turret when carrying a tamed dilo. Even offline, you can always have a passenger in your back seat.

Got one of these (name duck tape) supreme manoeuvrability, plenty seats, like to hang. There also super run and I like doing airshows.

I found out you can fly black wads (in mobile) just like going forwards except drag your finger on screen backwards.

Get an eerie one for extravagant air shows.

You don't need a gillie suit if your fast and have a bola at hand. I tamed one very easily with tranq arrows.

If you found it and have no bola, please dont go back to your base to make some. Get the resources needed nearby because if you go far enough it will probably despawn or fly away.

I just found a million tapejaras high in the sky on the island, u can bola while it’s flying to, or just use arrows . Happy tapejara finding!

I have seen so many of these and I really wanted to tame one, but of course once I got to a high enough level, they all disappeared.

Another way to tame these guys that works pretty well for me is to build an Argi trap. Be sure to build it somewhere there isn’t a lot of other dinosaurs wandering about. Get on a decent lvl flyer yourself. Wait until the tapejara is flying. Equip a good amount of rare flowers to your tool bar. Eat one and fly by him. he will begin to chase you. Keep an eye on your timer and continue to eat them and kite him until you and him are in the trap. Close the doors and let the flower ware off. He will not attack you anymore once the flower is through. At that point you can leave the trap but be sure he doesn’t escape. Shut the doors behind you and there you go. Proceed to tranq him and feed him as normal. Sounds difficult but it has worked several times over for me where trying to bola him with Gilly tends to be frustrating. Good luck!
