TAMING DOES NOT WORK. These creatures are non-tamable and if you look at the more section here on dododex it says it isn't tamable. Those people who are saying they are tameable are wrong. Up this so newbies and seasoned players alike don't waste time on false rumors.

So I was running in the forest than I hear bum bum bum then I look to my right then I see 2 raptors running at me 1 of them pounces on me then the other attacks

Make 4 metal dino gates and 1 large bear trap. Place three frames and door into an incomplete square and the large bear trap in the I between them. Lure the Giga into the trap and while its trapped place 4th down to make the square. Then just light it up with tranqs

Dude I spent half a hour trying to get a high level Wyvern egg and when I finally did the ichthyornis took it and ate it 😭

At first these guys are passive and tame and can be given any type of berry. (Mejoberry is recommended) do not run up to its face. It will run away and it will keep running.(other monkeys near it will also run away too) simply crouch and feed it berries. Once tamed, they will love you forever.(they are a shoulder mount so put them on your shoulder and take them EVERYWHERE) they have a really cool ability to through poop at the enemy that is chasing or if it is your target. When it through the poop if it lands it will disable there ability to sprint for a little while.( and will take small amounts of dmg too while the poop is on them). Many people think I’m vicious, unfriendly, and dangerous. However, I’m really just angry I can’t get any good type of cuisines. Survivors just make up the lost nutrients! I crave a good exotic dish. I never have time to go scavenge for them however (Fine, I’m just too lazy to get them myself), and hence why I will love anyone or anything that would give me these. As a part of the Serpentes family (Snake family), I love eggs. For my preferences, fertilized ones. However, I need something with more punch for my larger (and more hazardous) digestive system. There are 3 specific flavor types I love. Radioactivity charged tanged egg with a mild rocky flavor, a very spicy but melts on the tongue kick, and finally, a crunchy, bitter electronic, but still very flavorful, metallic egg. (Hey, don’t look at me like that, everyone has different taste preferences!) Of course, this is the rock drake, magmasaur, and voidwyrm fertilized eggs. Please, I’ll love you forever if you feed me these. (I might think of you some random attacker when I first see you, so please avoid my eye contact and drop the eggs for me, don’t worry, I’ll find out who got me this treat later) Thank you tasty- I mean generous survivors for reading this!

Basilisk

Tames are friends, not food.

There are 3 variants of the crystal wyvern. The tropical one gets the hydrated buff( more damage, resistance etc) when standing in water like a spino. Even though it gets the buff in water it can’t swim and is found in the white shores area. The blood one breath steals the life force and heals while using it breath attack and is found in the forest with the red trees. The ember crystal wyvern is found in emberfall. It’s breath is more precise and can go further than the normal fire wyvern breath. The breath also has a rage meter with the more you use it the more damage it does. Eventually it will start to get blue flames in the mix. Hoped that helped you

Just harvest stone and drop it on the ground near them to tame. Crystals and gems work too, but stone works best. Much easier to gather than owl feces.

If you drop a quetzal due to knockout, and it lands next to a giga...just know, the quetzal belong to the giga. Now you get to watch your would be quetzal get eaten by a giga. Now you can go home and cry.

If your on mobile and can’t find one of these guys start the tame equus pursuit and walk or fly around the island and eventually a arrow will show up on the top left of your screen. If you follow that then you will find an equus or two. Upvoote if you found this helpful.

HOW TO TAME BURROWBUCK:

1: get about 10-15 rockarats to feed the burrowbuck.

2: than go up to it in ghille and you must be crouching when approaching or it will run away! And passively feed it the carrots.

3: Then it teleports away and repeat the process until tamed!

So don’t make a trap to tame it in it just doesn’t work

BONUS

Do NOT interact with the burrows around the burrowbuck because they are traps and you will get stuck.

READ THIS IF YOU WANT A WYVERN

To have your own wyvern you need to steal its egg, so there is a few things you need to have to go for a wyvern egg:

1. You need a flying dino that is fast and has decent stamina.

2. Locate the wyverns’ cave in any map you play (Ragnarok, Valguero, Scorched Earth, etc.).

3. Go near the cave and stop to regenerate stamina.

4. Try to see hoy many adult wyverns are flying around the cave. If there are too many you don’t have many chances to successfully steal an egg

5. When you are ready, fly into the cave and take the egg (I recommend to take the first one you see, because if you stay too long inside the cave, wyverns might kill you).

6. FLY AS FAST AS YOU CAN TO GET OUT OF THE CAVE.

7. If you can get out alive, you have made the hardest part, but you have still work to do.

8. When you arrive your base, put down and light around 10 or 15 torches in a circle, and place the egg in the middle.

9. Wait for it to hatch.

10. When the egg hatches, you will have to take care of the wyvern until it grows. You have to do the things that the wyvern asks you to do. The hardest one is to give it wyvern milk. To acquire this you need to knock out an adult wyvern or kill an Alfa. BUT THERE IS A MUCH EASIER WAY. If you have cryopods, try taking your wyvern in the cryopod and then let it out. Sometimes it changes the thing that the baby is asking for.

11. Keep doing the things that your wyvern wants until it grows.

12. Congrats! You have a WYVERN!! :)
