Burning rock

Chapter eight (this story is particularly short, so it will probably end soon)

Aidan spun around and unsheathed his sword, “great, a rock elemental” he said.

“Oh come on!” Kalmar shouted angrily.

“We don’t have the right weapons! We’re all gonna die!!” Lamakar yelled.Aidan turned to Lamakar, and spoke.

“You NEVER, EVER say that, it usually doesn’t end well. Suddenly, there was a screech, and a huge lightning wyvern swooped down, blue scales glinting and electricity crackling out of its mouth. The wyvern blasted a bolt of lightning at the rock elemental, which struck its head and destroyed it. The headless rock monster slumped to the ground, and the wyvern landed in front of its corpse. The wyvern wasn’t without a rider though, as one jumped down from its back, they were a woman, covered in desert cloth, with a bow in their hand.
