Chapter five (prepare for something new)

Just a quick warning, you may find this chapter incredibly disturbing, its not really very important to the story, but adds in a new character, so you don’t really have to read it if you don’t want.

A survivor lay in his tent sleeping, he wasn’t aware, however, of the horrific creature lurking outside. It stared at the tent, snarling happily at the idea of a new meal. It reached into the tent with a thin, bony hand, and grabbed the survivors foot, dragging him out of the tent and slashing open his back just as he awoke, the survivor screamed as the creature flipped him over and slashed his cloth clothes to pieces. The creature snarled at the screaming survivor and grabbed his bottom jaw, twisting it and the ripping it off completely, it then tore into the survivors chest, pulled his rib cage apart and tore out his heart. The creature then began to feast on the survivors innards. Once it finished eating, it turned away from the remains of the corpse and walked away.
