Stories Tips

What are some stories about the rock drake? Memorable rock drake stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
I was with a decent size tribe with a bunch of friends.They raised a bunch of rock drakes when i joined them.However, there was one Rock Drake in Particular that was laying in the corner of the dino pen that has been neglected, never being used cause previous owner from the tribe has stopped playing ARK. The tribe decided that i earned the right to claim the Rock Drake as my own. It was only a 140, but i cherished that thing like a real buddy.I named him "Anon Loves me".Because he always had my back in the darkest time. When i first glided through the air with the drake. It showed me a side of ARK i never knew before, and showed me the oppurtunities the world had to give to me.
Unfortunatly the happy moments came to an end. We got attacked by a bigger tribe while i was on. My tribe leader insisted i flee and transfer servers. However, i could not take "Anon loves me" at the time cause of the sudden ambush. The Rock Drake and I looked at each other one last time before parting ways..
PLATIC BAG: HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Chapter three
( next chapter on ovis, last chapter on raptor.)
I came back to life, but somewhere different. I woke up on a sandy beach, the seagulls calling in the distance. I got up, looked around, then remembered. Everything. “ I won’t die again. I will avenge you guys.” I said with great confidence, then started making tools and gathering food. Night came soon, and I built a bed near a fire to sleep, eat and stay warm.
The next morning I woke up early, took a sip of water and ate some berries. I had a new mission. Make an army of dinosaurs. I stomped out on the beach with a newly made hatchet and spotted the first few dilos. I walked up to them and punched them real hard. Mostly out of anger from dying. I took my anger out on some dodos and dilos, then had 5 new companions. ( all dilos) I started my base on the sand, made out of thatch. Temporary, but good enough. I spent another night under the cold, distant night sky stars.
The next morning I woke up, and started to adventure some more. But I was prepared this time. I had my newly made spear out for any surprise attacks, and all my tames. I walked around the beach near the edge of the water, undisturbed. I saw huge turtles walk around slowly, then swim around with the fish lazily, on the other side of the beach, I saw raptors chasing a fat scales lizard thing that did not run fast at all.
I walked face first into a huge stone wall, but then I realized it wasn’t a wall. It was a cliff. I walked around it, then found a nice long, grassy walkway to the top with a neat hill that looked like as if it was cut in half. One side had a normal slope, and the other had a deadly drop.
I went to the top and found the most incredible thing I had seen yet.
There were parasaurs, dilos, raptors, brontosaurus,dodos, and a bijillion types of other dinosaurs every where. It was amazing. Right then, I decided to build my forever first base there. A place that was safe. A place to call home.
Once, there was a guy who had an infinite supply of green gems. Oh, and he also wanted a rock drake. He was looking through his inventory one day wondering what he could use his green gems for. Then he found the answer: climbing picks. He decided to then make a hazard suit and glider suit and go and steal a drake egg on foot. Why did he want to do this? 1: He was known for doing crazy things that never worked out, so he wanted to succeed. 2: He wanted a rock drake. 3: He wanted to prove the wiki wrong (who doesn’t?) and show that it was not impossible to steal a drake egg on foot. His plan? To fling himself from the fertile zone and follow the spine down to the grave of the lost. He would then land on a nest, steal an egg, and then glide out of the grave of the lost. After that, he would climb a tall rock, while being chased by drakes and nameless and make a dangerous glide to the spine, which was in the middle of an element river. He would then climb the spine all the way to the fertile region. He crafted his supplies and set off. He reached the point where he could jump. He jumped and glided out of the fertile zone. He was now above the bioluminescent zone. He started to laugh because he had a feeling of ultimate power. Then he realized that he didn’t know where the spine was. He stopped laughing and glided around until he found it. He found where the spine dropped straight down to the grave of the lost. He had planned to just fall through all the rings in the spine and then catch himself and glide in. He didn’t make it past the first ring. He and to make tons of free falls and quick glides until he could get a decent approach. When he did, he glided in to the grave of the lost. He was going so fast that the eggs didn’t appear. He began to turn around until he saw an egg. He landed nearby the nest and climbed the rest of the way with his climbing picks. He turned toward the exit, grabbed the egg and took off. He felt powerful. He felt happy. He felt brave. However, he did not fly as far as he wanted to. He dodged a nameless and was nearly to the tall rock he needed to climb. Now I would like to say that he succeeded in making it out. Sadly, he got stuck on a rock. A small rock. A rock he could easily have jumped over. He was right next to a drake that was not aggravated. The drake hit him. A third of his health went down. He thought, “I can make it out.” Then he landed in the element river and died instantly. He was very disappointed. Although he failed, he did learn some valuable lessons. 1: It is very hard to glide across the entire map. 2: Don’t underestimate the wiki. Later, he tried again. He failed again. But he knows, that it is absolutely possible. He decided that he should wage a while, bring a light pet, bring at least 100 climbing picks instead of twenty, and bring a cryopoded animal as bait. He knew, that someday he would prove the wiki wrong. Someday, he would show that he was not a fool, but a master of stealing eggs.
If you liked this story, in the future, there may be a story of the survivors success. Also, there may end up being one for wyverns on ragnarok, but that has not happened yet.
Hi 👋 my names @DEEZ BEANZ and im here to tell you a story about my rock drake.
I had gone through quite a bit of trouble getting the egg in fjordur, I took my desmodus, des (I did name him Alucard/ dracula backwards at first but I couldn’t stop saying des) to the cave and quickly flew in and out with the egg almost dying to radiation on the way. Once I was home I incubated the egg. Once it was done and I had plenty of meat I hatched it 🎉 it was a girl! :) I was very happy, and thinking she would be safe, i went with my little brother to the mountains to tame him something, but when I came back my rock drake was nowhere in sight I searched for hours with no success.. i checked the tribe log to find she WAS alive.. so what happened? So after a while I looked it up.. and apparently it’s called *poofing* which is common in juvenile and baby dinosaurs when you leave.. I was heartbroken 💔 after all that she never even got to adulthood.. sadly she won’t be getting a name ether.. (I name my dinosaur once there adult because I think I think of a better name for them when I’m not looking at a baby one) but now I think I would’ve named her tesarof pronounced tes-a-rof (I know it sounds like gibberish but I spelled forest backwards: tserof, and it kinda sounds similar) I loved the short time I had with you tesarof ❤️ I will never leave a child alone again..
1 🔺 = one prayer to EVERYONE who lost a loved dinosaur to the poofing..

Day 8 of Aberration…
6:30 AM
The sun’s light slowly began to flood into the Ark. As its light began to enter the cave, light spread across the green zone. There stood a tall, mostly stone base with two floors. It sat atop a cliff and near the Mushroom Forest. There were railings on the cliff platform and on the back door. Inside was three beds, all with a storage box next to them. Sodden and Dorack sat on one, and lying on the bed was Sylveevee, her neck wrapped up in bandages and there were also gauze pads and bandages on her chest and legs. On the bed to the right of them was Reaper, who had bandages on her legs and claws, head, and her tail. Sodden sat there staring at Reaper, and Dorack was looking at Syl.
“How’s she doing this morning?” Dorack asked as he turned his head to Sodden. Sodden sighed.
“She’s been below half HP for days now. She’s still mostly stable now, though.” Sodden said. Dorack nodded slowly.
“Okay… uh, seems good. At least she’s better. Syl has been unconscious for some time, but she’s doing a lot better. The poison in her body has almost dissipated.” Dorack said. Sodden nodded slowly.
“Okay, good. Uh… how’s our metal doing?” Sodden asked. Dorack shrugged then stood up.
“Not sure. I’ll go check.” Dorack said. He then turned away and walked to the staircase to the second floor. There was a long line of forges on the other end of the floor, a smithy on one side and a fabricator and grill on the other. There were also two vaults next to the smithy. Dorack walked to the forges and saw that almost all the metal had finished smelting. Dorack then nodded and walked back downstairs.
“Most of our metal is done. You got the hide, right?” Dorack said. Sodden nodded.
“Yeah. Soon, we’ll have enough for two hazard suits. Hopefully we can do the Elemental Vault soon.” Sodden said. Dorack nodded slowly.
“Yeah. Hopefully.” Dorack chuckled. He then walked back upstairs and sighed softly. He walked to the forges, then used a pot to scoop the metal out of some of them. He moved the metal and hide to the smithy, then he took out all the red gems and gas balls that they had. It was enough for one full set of hazard suit. Dorack sighed.
“Sodden… no. I need to do this on my own.” Dorack whispered quietly. He was deeply concerned about Nal, and he was doubting if Serenity was even still alive, considering the circumstances. He knew how risky it was to leave him, but he knew he had to do something fast.
~~~~~~~~~~
Rod was drenched in a shiny and stitched together suit, which had a mask on the top and thick gloves and boots. He wore a hazard suit and was walking to Dread’s base. He stormed through the main gates, bashing the front door open and alerting everyone. Dread stood up from the office sitting just across from the door. The office had three computers, all with security camera for most of the base. Dread got up from the chair and turned to Rod.
“You said I had to come to talk with her.” Rod said. Dread chuckled.
“Yes. Yes. I did. That was the original plan for today. However, there was a little… complication that our little prisoner caused. So here’s the thing. She’s sitting in the Reaper cell dorms right now. She’s outside of the Reaper arena, the place where we execute those who dare go against me. I told her that she has one more chance to redeem herself with you. Said that if you two refuse to cooperate, Serenity’s going straight into the arena. And Xenideath is not afraid to strike at any prisoner that comes into her territory.” Dread said. Rod gasped.
“Wha… what did she even do? Why is she not in the arena yet?” Rod said sternly. Dread grinned and growled deeply.
“You see, she decided to release Queen Syl and ensure she went to help Sodden and his friend. I have a little… pattern with most of these prisoners. Getting impregnated by a Reaper Queen is bad enough, but it’s a billionfold times worse when it happens to someone who, may I reiterate… cannot respawn. These prisoners are the ones I bully further. Trauma, torture, extreme threats, that’s how I do things.” Dread sneered. Rod chuckled.
“In true Dread fashion. I should’ve known. Hmm. Anyway… let’s get on with our new plan.” Rod sneered. Dread chuckled.
“Still the same mean minion you always were. I knew it’d be hard for you on the Island, but when you got in contact with that noob Sodden and chickens Dorack and Nal, heh. It became so much easier. Come. Come. I’ll show you the way.” Dread said as he turned around and walked towards the door. Rod followed him as they both walked to the northeast part of the base, where the arena was.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sylveevee slowly groaned as her eyes began to open. Sodden sat on the bed next to her and turned around and gasped. Syl began to rub her eyes as she groaned. She began to sit up and look around.
“Hey. How you doing?” Sodden asked. Syl gasped as she turned to him.
“Hi. Doing good. Uh… how long was I out?” Syl said. Sodden sighed.
Around four days. We advanced a lot in time and we’re soon gonna do the Elemental vault. You’ll have to come with us to help.” Sodden explained. Syl gasped softly.
“What- what about the Aberration Kingdom? How are they doing?” Syl asked.
“We don’t know. We haven’t seen them. Maybe check your tribe logs.” Sodden said. Syl nodded and looked down at her implant. She tapped it lightly and she looked through the holographic menu that popped up. She looked at the tribe logs and saw almost nothing. The past four days were mostly inactive. She did see some messages from tribemates about her army and about Dread’s actions, but it wasn’t very important. Sodden sighed.
“Is Serenity even still alive?” Sodden asked nervously. Syl nodded.
“Probably. I know Dread. He likes torturing and bullying his prisoners. You can bet Dread did some horrible stuff to her in the past few days.” Sylveevee said. Dorack sighed softly and turned away. Sodden turned to Dorack and walked to him.
“Hey. Something wrong?” Sodden said. Dorack sighed as he reached into his bag.
“Nah, nothing. Uh… I already made the first hazard suit. Why don’t you go out and get the last of the resources and I’ll stay here with Queen Syl and Reaper.” Dorack said. Sodden nodded in agreement and turned to the door, then walked out of it, holding his bag. Dorack then walked to the door and closed it. Dorack then turned to Sylveevee.
“Okay, I need your help to do the Elemental Vault.” Dorack said. Syl sighed.
“I mean… yeah. I could become a Rock Drake and go there soon. Just…” Syl said, then Dorack cut in. He took a suit out of his bag and began putting it on.
“No. We’re going now. I can’t let this keep happening. This is something Serenity would want us to do at this point. Nal will be finished for good in a week. Rod is who knows where, probably in Dread’s base plotting a raid or something.” Dorack said. Syl gasped and stood up.
“Listen. I know how hard things are for you all, but we can’t just rush things and try and push hard. The only reason Reaper is still alive is because I intervened. I did what I knew was right. But if we expose ourselves again, terrible things will happen.” Syl said. Dorack groaned loudly.
“You don’t understand. Sodden… he’s the sole reason why we even decided to hunt down the Assassin Heart in the first place! Nal… she’s been with me for so long and went through so much! Didn’t you hear about the whole Snowball thing?” Dorack said. Syl sighed and nodded slowly, but before she could say anything, Dorack cut in.
“Queen Sylveevee, I request you to carry me to the Elemental Vault to get the last artifact. I’m trying to protect Sodden and get closer to saving Nal!” Dorack stated sternly.
“By risking everything? All the things you went through to get here? If Rock Death sees us, they will hunt us down. Camoflauge won’t help as you’ll still be visible on my back. I’m not just your normal everyday transport creature! Ugh. The point is, what you are doing is very dangerous and too risky. It risks the lives of me, you, Sodden, the rest of the gang, and my own kingdom. I… I can’t do it. I’m sorry.” Syl said sternly, then sighed and sat down on the bed and looked down. Dorack growled and turned to the door.
“Well… even if we go there normally, we still have a risk of getting caught. If we wait, it means less time to save Nal and less time to prepare for a raid against these people. We have to do this. It’s risky. But it’s for the betterment of all of us.” Dorack said. Syl sighed and stood up, then walked to Dorack.
“Are you sure you want to do this? Unlike natural Rock Drakes, I can’t give camouflage to the rider. So you are going to need to stay hidden.” Syl explained, with nervousness in her voice.
“Yes. Yes I am sure.” Dorack stated. Syl sighed and nodded slowly.
“Okay, fine. If you insist. But if we go down, the blame’s all on you.” Syl said sternly. Dorack nodded, then both survivors walked out the door, and Syl then morphed into a Rock Drake. Dorack got on and Syl then became transparent, matching the color of the ground and trees and walls. Syl then lifted off the ground. Dorack held on tight to the feathers as Syl zoomed forward, beginning to glide. Dorack put his hazard suit on while the two were talking so Dorack was all set. But could he do it and get home safely?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A large pair of gates bursted open. Rod used a metal club to burst them open. As he entered the room, he saw a large row of seats, each one enveloped in iron rods and ceilings. There was a small lock on each cell. Most of the cells were empty, and the rows of seats extended downwards around 8 rows until reaching a large metal railing. Beyond that was a large dome with tek surrounding the place, and transparent essence guarding the place and protecting from radiation. On ground level was a flat, rocky and sandy surface, with almost no foliage around. On the back side was a large pair of gates, made mostly of metal and stone. Near the center of the arena was a slightly lifted, curved, black pile of rocks. It seemed to be a burrow of some kind.
One of the cells near the bottom and next to the railing had someone in it. She sat crouched down, her head down between her knees. Rod walked down the stairs towards the cell. Rod looked around the area and then stormed to the cell, then banged it hard with a metal club. Serenity then gasped as she turned around and stood up.
“We need to chat. Step out of line one time and I’m throwing you straight into that arena.” Rod said. Serenity nodded in affirmatiion, then Rod whistled loudly and the two heard deep growling. Then the burrow shook and suddenly, lots of dirt was shot up into the sky as a creature launched outwards. Then the creature’s feet came down on the ground as it shrieked loudly and looked up at the stands. Rod chuckled as he stared at the creature.
“Ah, beautiful, isn’t it? If this hasn’t traumatized you for life, I don’t know what will. Anyway… about what happened four days ago.” Rod sneered. He sat in a nearby chair next to the cell. Serenity gasped as she turned around to see the Reaper Queen storming around the area, sniffing the ground.
“I originally wanted to talk about everything that’s been going down recently. I wanted to talk about maybe sending you back to the Island or something. But now… you’re just gonna sit here and rot. I don’t care what happens to you. What I care about is getting that idiot Sodden dealt with. Ugh. If it wasn’t for you and that idiot Queen Syl, we would finally had killed Reaper.” Rod growled. Serenity gasped softly.
“If she and Syl had died, we would’ve seen it on our implants since we assisted in that. But we didn’t. So listen up. You’re gonna stay here. You get almost nothing for the next week. Heh. By then… you’ll be begging to die.” Rod sneered. Serenity gasped then started banging on the cell door, yelling and swinging her arms at Rod. Rod backed away a little.
“Heh. Dread once took down a entire Reaper with nothing but his fists. I wouldn’t suggest trying to go against him.” Rod growled. Serenity then stopped and looked around the area, then looked back at Rod. She had tears in her eyes and a heavily bruised chest.
“I knew what I was doing. I knew Dread would easily annihilate these people on their own. I had to send Syl to save them. On The Island, you seemed like a completely normal, good-hearted survivor. But down here, you’re just the same little idiot you were during the Ravage.” Serenity said softly. Rod chuckled lightly.
“I refuse to listen to you. This would’ve been so much easier on you, Sodden, Dorack, and Nal if all you did was just… not do it. If you didn’t bring me. If you didn’t go with the others. They would’ve failed without you and they will still fail even with your help. All you did was destroy your friends faster than what would have happened if you hadn’t even gone. I saw no reason to return to Aberration until I heard about you guys. Anyway… you’d better step up as a prisoner here. Dread already treats you bad enough here. And I know you’re getting PTSD from just being here. If you don’t wanna get impregnated, then I suggest you slow your roll way down.” Rod growled deeply. He then scoffed and turned away. Serenity was silent. She sat down, gasping softly. Rod stormed up the stairs.
“Oh, and one more thing.” Rod sneered as he stopped halfway up and turned his head.
“Seems like a old friend of yours wants to say hi.” Rod growled deeply as he pointed to the arena to see the Reaper Queen staring at Serenity’s cell and screeching at it , banging on the walls. Serenity gasped in fear and backed away. As the Reaper’s tail bashed against the wall, Serenity’s heart began pumping faster as she gasped quickler. Rod cackled as he stormed to the door and opened it, then slammed it closed. The Reaper Queen screeched as it leaped up high and grabbed the railings. Serenity gasped as she turned away.
“No… no…” Serenity gasped. The Reaper Queen couldn’t do anything to her because of the height, but it could still terrorize her. The Reaper screeched in her face as Serenity crouched down and covered her head, screaming and gasping.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dorack sat on Syl’s back, traversing through the Red Zone. As he did, the Rock Drake hovered over Dread’s large base, and a arena. Dorack gasped as he looked down at the arena. He saw a Reaper Queen inside of it, screeching at something in the stands. Syl gasped.
“Dorack, keep your head down.” Syl said sternly. Dorack sighed.
“Something’s happening down there.” Dorack said. Syl sighed.
“We don’t have time for this. Stay hidden. We’ll chat later.” Syl said. Dorack groaned softly and leaned back onto Syl’s back as Syl kept gliding through the red zone.
They continued until they reached the southernmost part of the Red Zone, where there were multiple crevices and creatures. Dorack gasped as he saw the opening to the cave, the vast valleys and rivers of Element, and the deadly creatures of Reapers and Megalosaurs. Syl then glided through the medium-sized dark blue opening to the cave, gliding along a cliffside going down to a bright pink Element river. As they were gliding, Dorack looked down at his implant to see a notification from Sodden. He had gotten multiple messages since he left asking where Dorack was. And Reaper was in no condition to travel across even a small distance, let alone to the other end of the entire Aberration cave. And there was no way Sodden was traversing the entire map on foot again. Dorack sighed as he looked at the messages. He didn’t want to respond to them. He was confused about everything, but he was trying what he could to help. Syl entered the small cave entrance, gliding across elemental rivers and climbing cliffsides. They continued going through paths and chambers until reaching a massive drop-off in the middle of a chamber. The cliff went down to a large elemental pool. And in the middle of the chamber, just up front of the entrance, was a container. It had specks of light gleaming across it, and it shone brightly, humming quietly, and a beam of light shot through the middle of its center. Dorack got off the Rock Drake and walked towards the artifact container. He then put his hands on the lid of the container, and groaned as he shoved it off. The top then fell off and crashed off the edge of the cliff and fell down the pit. Dorack sighed and lifted the artifact out of the container and put it into his bag. Dorack nodded.
“That’s it. All three secured. Now we just gotta rescue Nal and Serenity then we can get the heck out of here.” Dorack said. Syl growled deeply to interrupt then she glowed brightly as she condensed down into her human form. As a shapeshifter, she was immune to radiation so she didn’t need a hazard suit. Syl sighed and walked to Dorack.
“You can’t just barge in there with a whole bunch of creatures and steal them back. It’s not that simple. Dread and his tribe have dozens of Megalosaurs in their defense army and a lot of Rock Drakes in their creature army too. There’s 4 Reapers in that army, including… uh… I don’t remember what her name is. I do know that it includes the Reaper that attacked Serenity. You’re gonna need my help to raid them, but it’s very risky to escort our army to your base. We saw how risky that was a few days ago.” Syl said. Dorack nodded.
“Agreed. But it has to be done. I think what you can do is return to your base to think of a plan. After you bring me back, of course. Then, me and Sodden can try to hatch as many Rock Drakes and Megalosaurs as possible. We only have seven days, though.” Dorack said. Syl sighed and turned away.
“Yeah… but how do you think Sodden’s gonna like all that? He doesn’t want to rush too much because he’s trying to protect us. I wouldn’t suggest going near the Rock Drake trench for half a week at least. Dread and his tribe are continuously raiding that nest so many times. If you push too hard, well… it can mean the end for you, Sodden, Serenity, and Nal. Nal’s essence goes away for good, Serenity experiences a slow and painful death, you get your implant shattered by Dread, and Sodden gets shipped to The Island where Terad does the rest.” Syl stated, with nervousness in her voice. Dorack had a confident look on his face.
“We’re already at risk of that kind of stuff right now. Waiting is bad. Means less time. You did say we needed time to get creatures.” Dorack said. Syl groaned and walked to Dorack.
“A mission to the trench means you get all the eggs there, and get out. You could do that in four to five days or something. You could get a massive army by the time you’re done. On like the 15th day or whatever of your time here-” Syl stated, then Dorack gasped and interrupted angrily.
“15? 15 days!! That leaves like 12 hours to save Nal! And… and what if it fails? What if you can’t get the army there and we can’t beat them and we… are you even listening?” Dorack yelled.
“Dorack, you need to be positive and confident in yourself. Okay? I get it’s hard to trust anyone when there’s so little that can be done, but we have to try all we can to do this.” Syl said as she put her hands on Dorack’s shoulder. Dorack took a deep breath.
“You do not understand the emotional and physical connection my tribe has with themselves. We’ve been through a lot. Especially what happened on April 27, 2023…” Dorack said, his voice breaking as he said the numbers. Syl sighed.
“Hey. Sodden’s waiting for you. Besides, your hazard suit isn’t gonna last forever. We’ll talk later.” Sylveevee said. Dorack nodded, smiling. Sylveevee then morphed back into a Rock Drake and Dorack got on her back. Then Syl glided straight out of the cave and towards the green zone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After around an hour, Dorack and Syl arrived back at Dorack’s base, and Sodden was standing outside the front door. He was staring at the incoming Rock Drake. Then it landed on the ground next to the door and Dorack hopped off, and Syl morphed back into a human. Dorack sighed and turned to Sodden.
“Bro… again? Why do we have to do this every time? This… this is too risky for all of us. Stop. Where were you anyway?” Sodden said sternly. Dorack walked to him and reached into his bag and took out a artifact.
“I went with Sylveevee to get the Artifact of the Stalker. It was pretty easy and straightforward because, well, you know.” Dorack said. Sodden sighed.
“You are putting us all at risk. If this happens one more time-” Sodden said, then Dorack interrupted.
“We do not have time to wait. We’re just cutting it too close! Syl gave out a plan that only gave us like 12 hours to get Nal back and it literally could go wrong in so many ways. I’m done.” Dorack yelled. He stormed into the base and slammed the door before Sodden could say anything else. Sodden opened his mouth to say something, then he just looked away and sighed.
“Just go back to your base. We’ll talk later. We have some preparations to do.” Sodden said. Syl nodded and morphed into a Rock Drake then took off. Sodden turned around and walked into the base, closing the door behind him.
Anri...
She was my second rock drake and probably favorite tame ever.
I went down to the red zone on a spino named spineapple and got her egg, it was level 134, after building 19 ACs I finaly hatched her. I rode all around abberation with her.
I got her to level 203.She was dark brown with a blue belly and black feathers with blue tips.
I used her to tame a reaper, Horace.
While Horace was growing up I went and took pictures of him at cool places around abberation. Anri was also in the pictures. I was going to make a funny montage of Horace to send to my friends.
Now I look at them not to see Horace but to remember Anri.
On a 90Night 10Day season I was loot hunting with Anri. I found some good stuff, a 230÷ damage longneck, good armor, a shotgun, ect.
It was not worth it... There was a glitch happening where i could not zoom with a spyglass or switch to climb on a drake. So I found a safe place on the surface and left my single player world.
As I got back in the game the glitch is not fixed but the larger problem was the surface was on fire at 2AM. Quickly i paused the game and used Infinite stats. When i rejoined the game it dismounted me from Anri. I was glad I did not die from the fire then,
I heard Anri die...
I thought for a second that I could spawn a new one. But I did not want a new one I wanted Anri back. I turned off infinite stats and died. I left the game and deleted my save on abberation. I am not mad or really what feels like sadness.
I just feel defeated...
Now she is gone. Im sitting here typing this listening to the ps4 home screen music. Anri is gone now. I think i will play Bloodborne and then make Anri my google Profile Picture.
i was in aberration looking for rock drake eggs, didn't find the path so i tried to leave the red zone but oh surprise, i got lost, eventually i found the way out to the blue zone and oh surprise, i got lost and while trying to go to the green zone, i ended up in the red zone entrance 15 TIMES IN A ROW, and bow that i tought i founded the green zone... Landon looked ahead to see the Crimson Crusader’s castle not too far ahead. He pulled the reins on his raptor, and the raptor began to run full speed toward the castle. He could still feel the searing pain on his leg, the one he gained from his fight with the orange-haired woman.
“General Wyvern must know about this… mysterious man and the obelisk,” Landon thought, looking off into the distance where the red Obelisk hung. It was quite close to the castle and seemed to be humming even brighter.
Eventually, Landon reached the gates of the castle. His raptor halted, and he stepped off. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the sketch of the mysterious man.
He walked into the castle, but didn’t see anyone in particular. No General Wyvern, and no Crimson Crusader. Landon began to walk around, looking back and forth.
“Where are they-”
Landon let out a grunt as he turned to see who he bumped into. It was the Crimson Crusader. Landon could barely recognize her in her cloth outfit. She seemed extra giddy today, but bumping into her aggravated her, as she looked at Landon with a snarl.
“Watch where you’re going punk!” the Crimson Crusader shouted. Landon respectfully bowed.
“I-I’m sorry, Crimson Crusader,” Landon apologized, “It won’t happen again. But I did want to come to you about something. That mission to the other camp brought up some interesting info-”
“Don’t care,” the Crimson Crusader waved him away, “Just go talk to General Wyvern about it or something. He’ll tell me later.”
“And where is he?”
“In the storage room. Now out of my way, I have important matters to attend to.”
Landon moved to the side and the Crimson Crusader rushed down the hallway. Landon looked on uneasily, and then headed off to the storage where General Wyvern was.
As he traveled through hallway and hallway, he eventually made it to a secluded room. He opened the door and inside were tons of storage boxes and what not that held all sorts of resources. Sitting on one of the boxes was General Wyvern, who seemed to be taking a nap. As Landon stepped into the room, General Wyvern’s hand reached for his gun and he instantly pointed it at Landon’s face. Landon let out a squeal of fear and raised his hands in surrender. General Wyvern looked up, his ghillie suit still, and lowered his gun at Landon’s sight.
“Oh hello Landon. Fancy seeing you again,” General Wyvern said. Landon cleared his throat.
“I’m sorry for startling you sir.”
General Wyvern looked at Landon and shook his head.
“No, I should be for pulling a gun on you. Need something?”
Landon nodded and walked forward, showing General Wyvern the sketch of the mysterious man.
“I found some possibly important information at the Book Club Camp. I wanted to see what you thought about all of this.”
General Wyvern snatched the sketch of the mysterious man off his hands and looked at it carefully. Then, his calculating stare turned into a glare.
“Samuel…” General Wyvern snarled. Landon raised his eyebrow, scratching his puffy curly blonde hair.
“Y-You know him?”
“I do. We used to be friends. Way back when,” General Wyvern said, “He was a cold bastard. I should’ve never helped him when his sister died.”
“So I guess it’s not that important then,” Landon said aloud, “But what about the obelisks? What’s up with it?”
General Wyvern cracked his neck.
“I’ve always thought there was something important about them,” General Wyvern claimed, “But the Crimson Crusader never cared about it. She only cared about finding Ben.”
Landon took a seat on one of the crates.
“Why does she even care so much about him anyway?”
General Wyvern glanced in Landon’s direction.
“Because she loves him a lot.”
“Oh.”
The two sat there, just waiting for nothing, when Landon finally spoke again.
“Why do you work for her anyway?” Landon asked, “You’re so much cooler and kind and… You’re a better leader than she’ll ever be. I bet you’re stronger too.”
General Wyvern glanced down at the ground. He almost seemed ashamed for his rationale.
“Because. I am in debt to her. She helped me when nobody else did. After Samuel and I cut ties, she came to me and befriended me. So that is why I must help.”
“But you don’t need to, do you?” Landon said, “Why don’t you just split off from her? I’ll be there to help. I can be YOUR general! And who knows, I bet a lot of other people here want to work for you too!”
General Wyvern looked at Landon solemnly, and put a hand on his shoulder.
“Thanks for looking out for me. But I’m not going to betray June just because of my feelings. This is the honorable thing to do.”
Landon looked down at the ground gloomily.
“Whatever you say, General…”
~
Ben slowly awoke from his daze. He could see a blinding white light flash across his eyes, and he felt as if he were sitting atop a cloud. He let out a groan and stretched his body, cracking his knuckles and rolling his head back onto the soft pillow.
But then he realized that their little hut in the woods didn’t have pillows… or lights for that matter.
His eyes immediately jolted open, and he sat up, looking around at his surroundings. He was sitting on a lush, soft and fluffy mattress that was holstered up with a metal bed frame, and the two pillows were covered with a fine fabric. To the two sides of the bed were two side drawers with lit candles atop them in glass containers. While they did smell nice, Ben was already starting to get a bad feeling about this place.
“Where are the others?” Ben thought. Then, a haunting thought crossed his mind. He got up from the bed and looked around, and then saw a metal door just a few steps away.
“Hopefully that wretch of a woman wasn’t the one who brought me,” Ben sneered, stepping over to the metal door. He reached his hand out to open the metal door, but the door swung wide open before he could reach it. Standing on the other side of the door was a woman with long, orange-brown hair and a sweet soft smile on her face. She was wearing a bundle of cloth clothes that were painted over with red. If Ben had never met her before, he would have assumed she was a kind lady who looked like she wanted to be friends with him. But he did know her, and she definitely wasn’t the nice type.
“Hi!” June said, her hands behind her back. She tilted her head as she spoke to Ben. Ben blinked his eyes and stepped backwards. June waltzed into the room and shut the door behind her.
“It’s good to see you again after so long,” June admitted to him. Ben didn’t speak a word. June eyed Ben up and down, but as her eyes approached his neck she let out a dramatic gasp. She rushed forward and ran her finger down the stitch on his neck.
“OMG Ben! What is this?! Did that Lizzy do this to you?! I knew it was a good idea to kill her!” June cooed. Ben squinted his eyes at her.
“I should have just rejected this… thing when I had the chance,” Ben thought, “Let me see if we can handle this in a respectful manner.”
Ben grabbed June’s wrist and pulled it away from his neck. She looked into Ben’s eyes, and Ben stared back with a squint.
“So uh, where exactly are we?” Ben asked. June let out a giggle, twirling her hair with one of her fingers.
“My castle, sweetie!”
“Cooool,” Ben muttered, looking past June and at the metal door, “Now what did you do to my friends?”
“Oh? Them? Well they were trying to stop you from coming with me,” June explained softly to him, “So I had to kill one of them.”
Ben blinked his eyes, a hint of disbelief in them. He stared into June’s eyes, reading them carefully to feel her emotions.
“What…”
“Look I know that sounds bad,” June told him, “But-”
June began to ramble on about some excuse as to why she had to kill Paul, and Ben just stared into her eyes, an unreadable expression on his face and his pupils wavering. Ben clenched his fists.
“Should I just kill her now?” Ben thought to himself, “Maybe I should.”
Before Ben could decide, June pressed her hand onto Ben’s chest.
“I hope you understand why I had to do that, love,” June said. As she felt his chest she let out a gasp. Her fingers rubbed across the stem of a flower. She reached her hands into Ben’s breast pocket and pulled out a hibiscus that had a light blue bulb. The flower remained dull under her touch, and Ben’s eyes widened. Ben quickly reached to stop her from touching it, but it was too late. June pulled the flower out of his pocket and away from Ben, staring at the bulb in wonder.
“You got a flower for me honey? That’s so sweet of you!” June gasped. June looked at it in dismay, and with sudden impulsiveness, crushed the flower within her palm. She squeezed on the bulb tight, and it glowed under her palm as the petals flew out of her hand and down to the ground, fluttering slowly and slowly like feathers in the wind. In a matter of seconds, thousands of memories flew past Ben’s vision. All with Her face in it. Her voice, her smile, and her laugh all echoed in his ears and eyes. For a moment, Ben could remember what she looked like. All of her.
But as the final petal fell to the floor, she faded from Ben’s mind. He couldn’t remember what she looked like. All he could know was that someone like her was a part of his past. And deep in his heart, her memory remained.
“You know I don’t like hibiscus flowers!” June sighed, “You know my favorite flowers are roses! You have to be joking with me or something to get me that-”
Ben’s implant glowed and a myriad of vines suddenly grew from the ground and walls, ensnaring June. June let out a gasp as Ben raised his hand, causing the vines to carry June up into the air. Ben waved his hand to the right so violently it was as if he were swatting away a fly, and the vines slammed June into the wall.
“What the- BEN!” June cried.
“SHUT THE HELL UP!” Ben screamed, “First you capture my friends, then you kill Paul, and then you… Y-you.”
Tears began to drip from Ben’s eyes. The vines around June retracted, and June dropped to the ground. Ben collapsed to his knees, his head in his hands and his body heaving up and down as he wept and wept.
“I’m so sorry,” Ben sobbed, “I’m so so sorry…”
June didn’t know that Ben wasn’t apologizing to her, but she took it as an apology anyway. She took it as a sign of love, and genuine feelings. She eyed Ben up and down again, a thought crossing her mind.
“It’s okay Ben. I forgive you,” June told him, “...Who did this to you? What made you want to do that to me?”
June looked at the white graduation robe wrapped around Ben’s body, and a dark look crossed her face. She clenched her fists, fire bursting from her hair and hands.
“It was that damn valedictorian…” June realized, “Oh she’s so dead to me. Don’t you worry Ben. She’s going to pay for what she did to you. We can talk later.”
Before June could act, there was a loud explosion.
KABOOM!
The roar of herbivores echoed from outside the wall, and June let out a gasp. She ran over to the wall and looked outside the window. An entire herd of herbivores that included Triceratops, Parasaurs, and Stegosaurus were headed their way, trampling over everything and anything in sight. A few raptors tried to attack them but they were quickly batted away by their horns and tails. There were even a few Carnotaurus and a giant spined lizard with a sail was swiping away at the scouts that rushed outside to attack them. Riding atop the herd were Carlos and Paul. An albino capybara was riding alongside them.
“WE’RE COMING FOR YOU JUNE!” Carlos screamed aloud for her to hear, “You’ll die now for what you’ve done! For Ian! For Ben! For Chris! FOR THEM ALL!”
June cursed to herself.
“Damn it… I should’ve just killed them all when I had the chance. See you later, Ben.”
June rushed outside the metal door and slammed it shut, leaving Ben to grieve his broken promise.
~
June rushed down the hallway and into the throne room, and she could see General Wyvern and Landon walk in as well. General Wyvern rushed up to June and bowed to her.
“Your majesty, there are also attacks going on in the back of the castle,” General Wyvern alerted her, “There’s a mosasaurus with a cannon attached to it. It’s blowing the back to shreds. A man’s manning the cannon, but he looks like a brute. None of the scouts are brave enough to take it down.”
“Then what are you waiting for?!” June snapped, “Go get them!”
General Wyvern looked to Landon.
“I want you to do it.”
“What?! Me?!”
“Yes. You’re strong enough. Your Voodoo implant attribute is strong. You can do it. Now go! Everything’s at stake here.”
Landon thought about it for a moment, and then firmly nodded, saluting General Wyvern.
“I won’t disappoint you General.”
Landon rushed off to go fight the Mosasaurus. General Wyvern turned to Queen June.
“I need to go to the prison and check on the prisoners. I’ll round up some scouts along the way and send them off to fight with you as well.”
June turned away from him, fire bursting from her hands.
“You better get to it then. We’re wasting time chit chatting.”
~
Ian lay in his prison bed as the sound of explosions rang out along him, and he let out a yawn as he heard footsteps coming his way. Ian turned to see Patricia approaching his jail cell. Ian instantly sat up, walking up to Patricia and placing his hands on the bars.
“You got what we need for the plan?” Ian asked. Patricia nodded. She held up two items. A pair of two keys, and some earbuds. Ian squealed in delight as Patricia handed him the earbuds.
“Finally… My babies are back in the rightful owner’s hands,” Ian sighed, placing the earbuds away, “I don’t need them though with my implant attribute. Now you don’t mind getting me out?”
“Right,” Patricia said, “You don’t mind telling me the plan though? You’ve held off long enough!”
Ian scratched his head.
“Uhhh, right. That’s the thing. I’m not really a plan maker… So I couldn’t make one up.”
Patricia facepalm.
“Really?”
“Don’t worry! I’m sure we can take on whoever with relative ease. Hey, maybe with your poker face attribute you can uhh convince the others not to go to the prison so we can all escape easily?”
“I’m sure that’ll work fine. Whatever, just get out of there already.”
Patricia unlocked the jail cell door, and Ian rushed out, stretching his limbs and breathing in the air around them.
“Feels good to be a free man!” Ian cheered. He turned to Patricia and blinked his eyes. Then he let out a cheer and afterwards wrapped his arms around her.
“Thanks so much for freeing me! Ha ha!” Ian laughed. Patricia giggled, wrapping her arms around his body.
“Yeah, yeah… Now let’s free Chris.”
The two left each other’s embrace, and then Patricia went over to unlock Chris’ cell door. As the door swung open on its own, Patricia could see a translucent pair of eyeballs move across the wall. Patricia sighed.
“Right. Wonder where Chris went…” Ian joked, “Now let’s get out of here-”
Suddenly two elongated, stretched out pairs of hands stretched out from nowhere and grabbed both Ian and Patricia, slamming them against the wall. Ian let out a grunt as he slammed his hands into the attacker’s wrists, but they barely budged. A familiar man walked into the prison hallway. It was Nate!
“I had a feeling you were up to something Patricia,” Nate snarled. He still had a limp on his leg, “You’re gonna pay for getting me shot. And your little friend is gonna die too-”
Nate was interrupted by someone whacking him upside the head. Nate let out a gasp as he collapsed to the ground. Chris came back into view, giving them a thumbs up.
“Don’t worry, I got you guys covered.”
Patricia called out to Chris,
“I saw the Crimson Crusader come in carrying a man in a white graduation robe! I don’t know where he is, but you should go find him, he could probably help us!”
Chris nodded and rushed out of the prison hallway door. As soon as he did, he disappeared from sight. Ian turned to Patricia.
“I have a good feeling that the explosions are my friends’ doing. We should meet up with them. They’ll help us and we can probably destroy this castle and its queen while we’re at it.”
Ian and Patricia were about to rush out of the prison hallway when a man wearing a ghillie suit stepped into the room. He instantly took out his revolver and shot at Ian. Ian let out a cry of pain as the bullet shot through his shoulder.
“Where do you think you’re going?” General Wyvern snarled. Ian looked up and grinned. His implant began to glow and music slowly began to burst from the walls. Ian snapped his fingers, and loudspeakers crashed through the ceiling, music booming forth.
“Turn up the music!” Ian ordered, “Patricia… Stay back. I’ll handle this.”
Ian clenched his fists, and then bashed them together. Music symbols manifested in the air as he did, and purple ゴゴゴゴ signs floated off from his body. General Wyvern looked on with a snarl as Ian began to chant.
“ATTRIBUTE AMPLIFICATION!” Ian called out, “CONCERT FOR THE UNDEAD!”
Musical symbols clashed with one another, creating mini explosions in the air. A large mystical circular zone was laid out with him in the center, and a dozen skeletons suddenly appeared from nowhere, carrying a variety of musical instruments. Patricia looked on in awe as Ian pointed a finger at General Wyvern. Four boxes were placed underneath both Ian and General Wyvern’s feet, each one had arrows and they were displayed in a cross. General Wyvern looked at the boxes in wonder, and then looked up with a smirk. Lightning crackled from his body and his implant began to glow.
“You wanna dance?” General Wyvern asked. He grinned, “Then let’s dance!”
The tale of Snowstorm.
Once I had a rock drake named Snowstorm. He was my first drake on aberration. Trip to the trench was dengerous and I went there with an army of spinos and a single megalosaurus named god slayer. He was the strongest mount I had. Level 220ish with 1450% dmg. Good mele imprint. My spinos fought bravely but in the end it was only me, 2 spinos and god slayer. I got a single 165 egg. When I arrived home I first experienced the pain of farming for aircons (12 wasn't enough.) but eventually it hached. It was pure white so I named it Snowstorm... I didin't move away from the young drake until it was properly raised. We went on many adventures it knew war, peace, survival and death... He was a true blessing and a well earned one. But once we went to the infamous halls of the reaper queen. The journey was sport but dengerous. I wanted a reaper but I knew I needed him. He was strong and could easily take on a queen. And after searching for a while we finally found a reaper queen. My bulbdog Bubbles turned on his light and we started, the battle was going well I managed to defeat the queen and get impregnated but then another one showed up my Snowstorm was weak and tired (had no stamina) I knew tryng to battle it was useless and escaping was out sunce my drake had no stamina and culdn't take any more damage. My only option was to let him battle the queen while I make my escape so I did. On that day I lost my friend, my hope, my world. I went home. Somehow I managed to escape the red zone without dying. I came home safe but felt empty. I got the baby out and raised it but the more time I spent the more I grew to hate the thing. It wasn't its fault but I still. I raised him to be a warrior to one day avenge the Snowstorm, a blessing that eventually faded away, a broken hope. I raised it to be a killing machine, butchering on my command, a monster that never knew love. After a long while I finally managed the strenght to go back and avenge my bolove drake. I went into the trench filled with hatred but when I came I saw a familiar face, a long white body with a silver mane with blood dripping from its wounds. It was Snowstorm and next to it 2 dead reaper queens. I was so happy to see him again. To this day I don't know how he beat the queen but in the it didn't matter. In the and I realised I grew fond of my own Reaper king and in the end everything was brought back. The same day I faced the beta rockwell the fight was grueling but in the end I beat him. But every victory comes with a price. This time it was my Shadow, the reaper king. I felt sorry, he only knew love in his dying breaths and lived for the sake of somebody he didn't even know. That was the tale of Snowstorm, a blessing to some and a curse to others.
Hunting for Eggs
Ep1
The men, completely oblivious to the danger they were in, pressed deeper into the forest. The trees glowed just enough for them to see about 10 feet Infront them, past that, there could be anything hiding.
"Kurt, we should turn back," Liam said
"No, we keep going," Kurt ordered
"Can we at least stop to take a break?" Noah sighed
"Quit with the complaining, we keep moving forward," Kurt slashed at a tree branch with his knife and sighed
"Was there something there?" Liam grumbled
"No, just moving it," Kurt replied He sped up until he was a good distance away from his companions.
Noah turned to Liam, " Kurt's insane! We haven't taken a break in hours and we still haven't found the Drake nests! They probably don't even exist!"
"There!" Kurt's hand shot upward as he pointed to a large circular nest up on a cliff ledge about thirty feet above them.
"How do expect us to get up there?" Noah snapped
"I don't expect you to, I expect Raven to," Kurt pulled a square shaped metal box out of his pocket and threw it at the ground. A large dark purple Argentavis busted out and stood proudly in front of the trio.
"Hi Raven," Kurt patted the birds head and pulled himself into the saddle the bird was wearing.
"Alright Raven! Up!" The bird shot into the sky and hovered, waiting for it's next order.
"Take me to that nest boy," Kurt pointed to the nest. Raven flapped his large feathery wings and zoomed to the nest, landing on the cliff ledge the leafy oval home sat on.
"Keep a look out," Kurt told the bird as he climbed into the nest. He slowly crept up to the egg and the looked it over.
"Darn, not a Drake egg but it'll do," He pressed the implant on his wrist and pointed it at the egg. In seconds the egg had disappeared and was now safely tucked into his inventory.
"Ok, take me back to Liam and Noah!" Kurt instructed Raven. The bird screeched and glided down to where the two men were waiting.
"Did you get it?" Noah asked
"Yeah," Kurt pulled the metal box out of his pocket and pressed a button on the top of it, the box began glowing a florescent dark purple light. He held the box up to Raven, the purple light slowly stretched into what looked like tiny arms that pulled the bird in cell by cell until Raven was no longer in front of them
"Is it the egg we came for?" Liam questioned
"Sadly no, but I'm sure we will find it eventually," Kurt sighed
Noah glared at Kurt, "I want to go home, now!"
"I know but we-"
"No Kurt, we've been out here for to long! I'm hungry, tired and frustrated beyond belief right now! We go home and come back out tomorrow, preferably with tames," Noah snapped
"Please Kurt, we just wanna rest," Liam flashed a heated glare at Noah who looked at the ground.
"Fine, we go home and rest, get food and then we come out tomorrow, okay?" Kurt looked at Noah.
"With Tames," Noah raised an eyebrow at Kurt, hoping he'd agree.
"With Tames," Kurt finalized.
"Alright, let's go home then!" Liam cheered.
Hoped you liked it, I will post Ep 2 either later today or tomorrow!
-AlphaWolfy-
This is probably my second tip, but I think the rock Drake is very underrated, yes the rex is tanky, the giga is basically a demi god, and the lighting wyverns shoot lightning, but rex and giga seriously slow, it's hard to maneuver the wyverns, and well there really hard to use, but rockdrakes are really fast, really easy to maneuver though things and can climb a glide and literally theost useful creatures, because they have so many abilities, it's hard to say that these are not best creatures in the ark, did I mention their also great swimmers?
Prologue: Desperate measures
“It’s a baby girl!” A doctor cried. A high pitched cry wailed through the white room. A nurse/ maid ran in. She was a pretty woman, with dark brown hair up in elegant bun, with a cyan blouse , dark blue jeans, black boots and brown eyes. She came and looked at the baby in the doctor’s arms. It was a sickly looking thing with big light green eyes, wrapped up in a white little dress, that hardly fit her, and a soft cotton pink blanket.
The maid frowned. The doctor smiled. “The lucky mother is asleep in the other room.” She said, grinning at the maid. The maid hid her hands behind her back, they were shaking hard. “As her most trusted maid, I will take the child until she wakes up.” The maid said. The doctor nodded and handed the small bundle to the maid. “Is the child healthy?” The maid asked.
The doctor nodded again. “Yes. She is rather small and pale, but I see nothing wrong with her. Good day.” She walked off and the maid looked down at the small baby. It looked up at her with giant eyes. She took a deep breath. She had to do this. Carefully she trotted out of the room into the empty hall, and out the back door of the hospital. She ran, the baby clutched to her chest, through a back alley. She stopped by a dumpster, conveniently filled with clean old blankets.
She lay the baby down in there and then ran covered it with another blanket. The maid then, pulled out a pink blanket that looked exactly the same as the one wrapped around the baby, and wrapped it around a bunch of hard blankets and a hot water bottle. She held the blanket like one would cradle a baby and ran back inside to the hospital. The nurse took a few deep breaths to steady herself and blinked her eyes a couple of times, so that some fake tears dropped from her eyes.
Just then the doctor came in. “How is the child?” The maid sniffed, inwardly hoping that she looked sad. “The child…” She made her voice crack. “Is dead…the little thing was so weak….she didn’t last long…”
~
The maid hurried back to the alley about a hour later. They had bought her story. They hadn’t even bothered to look at the “dead” child”. They had buried it. The parents would mourn for their child. The maid ran to the dumpster and sighed with relief. The baby was still there. She scooped it up. As soon as she did, the child’s face screwed up in a nasty expression and it began to wail. The nurse tried in vain, to silence it. “Shut it you little wretch!” She growled. It only cried harder. “Shh, shh.” The maid whispered. The baby did not quiet.
In desperation, she pulled out a silver medallion that she had stolen and held it above the baby. It stopped crying and, reaching upward for it. She gently set in the baby girl’s arms. The baby cooed with delight and sucked on the edge of it. The nurse cuddled the baby gently to her chest and began to walk. She grinned wickedly to herself. No one would know. She would use this little wretch to help her get what she wanted. And no one would suspect a thing.
