As Fuzzball and Eclipse was being escorted by the Rockdrakes, Buddy poked his head out. “Chirp?” He looked at Fuzzball with curiosity. “Shh, don’t get in trouble!” Fuzzball whispered to the Glowtail and putted him back in his pouch. Fuzzball looked at Eclipse and saw him normally fine. If he was worried he didn’t showed. Soon they arrived at gate. “Lynx?” One of the guard said, looking at the Rockdrake that attacked Eclipse. “You know the drill.” She replied back. The Rockdrake quickly gestured the guard behind him to open the stone gates. Once the gate was open Eclipse and Fuzzball followed the Rockdrake. Inside was a bit uneasy, there was Rockdrakes whispering about them, with unusual light. And there was nests guarded by their mother. Soon they arrived at a jail cell big enough to fit 3 of Eclipse in it. There was other prisoners in it too, the jail cell formed a line, in front of them was guards. “In.” The Rockdrake said. Fuzzball quickly obeyed but Eclipse gived her a nasty look. Then he went inside. They locked the door and disappeared. There was only two guards guarding the prisoners outside a medium sized door. “Why did they lock us up?” Fuzzball asked Eclipse.

“First of all, we’re intruders. Second of all, I’m an Shadowmane.” Eclipse replied as he sat down on the hard floor. “Say, have you heard of the Great War?” Eclipse asked. Fuzzball had heard that story from one of his best friend Whiteout. But he always thought it was just a made-up story from someone. “It’s real?” Fuzzball replied. Eclipse nodded at Fuzzball with a sad look. “It all happened when her Majesty Queen Comet was assassin by a guest, who was a Rockdrake. I was one of guard with Queen Comet during her dinner with the guest in the royal mess.”Eclipse explained as the sun went down. “How did Queen Comet died?” Fuzzball asked, taking Buddy out for air. “The Rockdrake was excused to the bathroom, I was right next Queen Comet when the Rockdrake secretly turned invisble when we weren’t looking and stabbed her in the head. The entire kingdom had to do a secured check all around. But the assassin was gone.” Eclipse continued. “That’s when we her daughter, Stargazer, who is now the Queen. Came to the throne. There was many changes, to the kingdom. She assigned me to be a Morse code translator and as a soldier as well. She declared war on the Rockdrakes.” “Then why is it called the Great War if the was only between you guys and the Rockdrakes?” Fuzzball asked. Soon night came. “Because when the war happened your Queen, Queen Diamond. Allied with Queen Stargaze because the Rockdrake was an threat to their supply lines. While the Carno allied with the Rockdrakes. Soon half the continent was at war.” Eclipse said. “I was at a battle between the Rockdrake borderline, translating a Morse code for the Shadowmanes. During the process the machine was damaged from a spear and I was stabbed in the hind legs.” Eclipse said, showing his left hind legs. There was huge stitches. “What did we do? Like how did we help?” Fuzzball asked. Other prisoners was also secretly listening as well. “Ah, you guys were a help. Due to your small size . You guys were able to protect many of our forts to your size, the Ferox destroyed supplies being shipped to the Rockdrakes and their did surprise attacks.” Eclipse replied.

“Soon, the Rockdrake Queen, Sundrop. Give up and signed a peace treaty. I was asked if I want to return to my daily life as a guard but I refused. I decided the join a ships crew called the “Mayflower”.” Eclipse finished. Fuzzball looked around himself and other prisoners quickly turned their heads back in surprise. He saw a machine that seemed to be a shield to Fuzzball. “Hey Eclipse, what’s that?” Fuzzball asked. Pointing to the machine. Eclipse eyes went wide and grinned. “It’s a Morse code machine! I could use it to send a message to the harbor.” Eclipse said as he got up. Suddenly a Rockdrake came to their cell. “Well hello.” The Rockdrake said. Fuzzball realized it was the same Rockdrake that attacked Eclipse earlier today. Eclipse looked at her with surprise. “Look, I know you guys are mad but I had to. I’m Lynx.” Lynx said, as she sat in front of them. “I’m Fuzzball and this is Buddy.” Fuzzball replied shyly. “Ah, I figured you guys lied anyways.” Lynx said. “You?” She looked at Eclipse. “Eclipse.” He replied with a sign. “Ok. Well you guys will be released when further instruction is assigned.” Lynx said. “See you guys tomorrow, and it’s pretty late. So rest up.” Lynx said as she turned back and walked to the exit. “I thought they hated Shadowmanes.” Fuzzball said when Lynx left. Eclipse kept looking at her until he realized Fuzzball was waiting for a answer. “Well I actually don’t know.” Eclipse said with embarrassment.

“Then good night.” Fuzzball said as he laid down with Buddy next to him. There was more surprising things for tomorrow.
