Chapter eight

The group quickly got out their guns, and began shooting at the bandits. It was a vicious fight, the bandits and ravagers were pretty easy to kill, but the roll rat was the challenge. Bullets seemed to have no effect on its armour, and they didn’t have much effect on the giant rats skin. The group shot at the rat, but the bullets didn’t do any damage, it charged at them, but they dodged, and fired. One of the men on the saddle fell backwards, hitting the floor with a thud, a bloodied hole on his forehead. The rider cursed, and tried to steer the rat, but failed and fell off, a hole in his arm. The rat roared angrily, and turned to the group, charging them, they all jumped out of the way, apart from Sarah. Just as it was about to hit her, she jumped out of the way, and grabbed onto its head, aiming her gun at its eye, and then fired. It collapsed, dead.
