Procoptodon Chronicles (Ch 10)

Roody learned the details of Redwing's death through the gossip of the lady dodos and what Red could say through sobs. The human did find a Yutyrannus, but as she was tranqulizing it, it died. The human went down with Redwing to investigate, but the second she dismounted, the Argy was attacked by a Direwolf, the same wolf that killed the Yuty and that she had brought home. The human had tried to save Redwing, but was quickly surounded by Daeodons. By the time she had fought her way through them, it was too late. The stubborn old bird refused to fly off without the human's command, and was killed for his loyalty.
