The most common sea creature to tame. Good dps and quite tanky but is a little bit slow. I personally prefer to do underwater things with a sarco. You can shoot from the saddle on sarcos, they have unlimited stam, and are way quicker but not quite as tanky and dps feels just a tiny bit lower then megalodon. But when it comes to alpha megalodons you can swim circles behind them as theyre swimming circles to get you and never get hit by them. Just becareful though because alpha megalodons love to call the whole ocean to help fight you. Just try to clear all other megalodons in the area before you try to engage the alpha. Ive had 15-20 megalodons come at me at once fighting an alpha.
