I saw a post about Ark myths, and I may have misinterpreted it but it gave me this idea

Many Many years ago, deep in Babylonia a young lion cub lived, in a cave, one day it found food in a tree, but alas couldn’t get there. Over time the creature grew wings, so it could avoid fighting and could get high up food.

It also developed horns and bat ears for fighting and better hearing respectively. It developed a scorpion’s tail to poison enemies into submission. At first the creature used its powers for good, but one day another lion, jealous of the creature’s good fortune, attacked the lion cub. The Cub roared with steely resolve: روزی که به من حمله کردی بدگویی! خواهی دید! همه خواهید دید!

And to this day hatred has grown in the cub, now an adult lion, it now hates nearly everything, however, his fascination with string brings him back to a more innocent time, and string is the best, and only way to escape the vicious beast we now know, as the Manticore.

Ok 3 notes on this story

A:The language the manticore spoke was Farsi (often called Persian) and it said:You'll rue the day you attacked me! You'll see! You'll all see!

B:Even though the story took place in Babylonia I couldn’t find a good Akkadian (the main language spoken in Babylonia) dictionary, and even though it’s part of Iraq I couldn’t use any of the languages spoken in Iraq today because they didn’t exist back then.

C:The Manticore also speaks Farsi because manticores are from Persian (modern day Iran) mythology.

-Manticore
