After clearing out the cave with a dire wolf, tame the dung beetle, pick it up and ride out on your wolf for a safe journey back with it.

I used my Rex in cryo. In and out of cryo, grabbing his poo every time and feeding it to beetle. Level 80 beetle took about 6 Rex poo until it loved me.

They can't eat massive animal feces, their code doesn't recognize titanosaur poo as food.

Lost island? Head to middle of dessert. You’re welcome. Take a Rex or Giga and get tons of chitin and organic poly while wandering around.

Using a Griffin, pick up the Dung Beetle with your hands and get on the Griffin, doesn't make you drop the beetle.

You can find dung beetles in the LOST ISLAND DESERT, meaning that they'll be easy to see. There’s lots of aggressive creatures, but you can easily kill them with a fast but strong creature.

Use Biggest poop you can find. The bigger the better.

Have your buddies kill everything in a cave except for the Dung Beetle. While they're whining about snakes or scorpions or bats, just have spoiled meet or feces in your hot bar. Crouch behind it and just wait. If it abhors just walk in a circle around it until it gets bored.

They are everywhere on the rag volcano area

Best way to get medium feces is from a phiomia, then u feed them. Works too.

If u have a cryo pod u can freeze and unfreeze ur tame each time u unfreeze he will poop and u can feed it to the Beatle

Like with the vulture, you can use the tent to isolate the beetle and make it easier to tame.

Once u tame it u can pick it up and pack it while riding a mount useful for long range runs especially in aberration

Can be on the south cave of the island map (above the island with the huge boulders) its slightly dangerous but probably the safest one, can easily navigate with even a low level carno and a shotgun. You won't find one until you start seeing the hostile creatures like titanboas and spiders. If you forget to bring poop with you to tame you can whistle poop on the carno and that should be an automatic tame. Once you find a dung beetle travel a little farther in the cave and kill everything so that you don't get killed feeding a bug some poop.

Make a toilet. Get someone to poop and someone to flush over and over and over and over unlimited fertiliser. Just don't get off.

I'm not entirely certain, but it seems if it is next to an artifact, the feeding process will halt. I recommend moving it far from any artifacts before attempting a tame.

The best way I found in med size poo and just sneak up behind them then lay on the ground and slowly move up till u can see the feed me on them just move back a little bit after u do it and just keep checking on them every 45 secs most caves will have them as well
