The way I tame Dire wolves is I use a long range weapon (such as a bow & arrow or shotgun) to kill the rest of the pack, but leave one alive. Next I use a slingshot to knock the wolf out. Taming with regular meat takes a long time, but it works. After I tame my dire wolf, if I want more I bring the first one to some sort of safe zone (like a small 1x1 box), and repeat the process with another dire wolf.

So everyone knows these guys come in packs which make it harder to tame them. Well on Ragnarok theres a place that they are rarely ever in packs, they are almost alwaysss alone! I build my base here anytime im on rag, also sabertooth are alone here too. But I always tame massive wolf packs within an hour or two cause its too easy. The cords are lat80,lon20

They are all over that little island but be careful cause there are also terror birds! But some wolves are low level but I just got 4 lvl 140's so its a pretty decent place for taming them!! Good luck!!

I tamed a level 580 from the strong cave, on mobile. Go into the cave, with Arthropluera so u can hit them and they don’t agro find a high level, kill every thing around it, and DONT HARVEST BODY. Get implant, revive, and tame with a trap.

To tame them when they are in a large pack grab a flyer land nearby to draw their aggro bola the one you want and kite the rest away, then you can go back and tame they singlular one by continuously bolaing it when it brakes free

If you are playing on crystal isles, you can pick a high level up, separate it from the pack to remove the pack bonus. Then place it in a small pen with doorways so you can tranq it out easily. That's how I got a whole pack.

Kill it’s friends climb on a rock and shoot till it’s down

Just grab one with your Argentavis (he won't attack you will flying if you don't hurt him) and throw him into a cage or something like this

When i saw a theri really close to my base I was really really scared.

I just did breed my best dire wolves it was just a baby there.

I took my pack and I slayed it good but it didn’t end there.

Then when baby grew up there I took her to a cave to get a hunters item

She slayed araneos, arthopluras, and snakes and other bugs there.

She served me well, and I honor here for the grave she lies with cracker

And other fallen dinos. There I honor her each day for ever and ever.

If your gonna tame one I recommend a argy to pick it up because casual just a guess u might see a rex and allos. To tame it use prime raw meat or Carno kibble

If you are on mobile tame an araneo (they dont attract agro) go to ice cave take an ice cave wolfs implant and ress tame it this way you can get a wolf double your games max level

most of the dire wolfs come in packs if you see one alone there most likely are some still around the corner, watch out for when they howl the pack comes! also dire wolfs are pretty fast so if i was you i would tame a bird first, the bird could easily pick one up and put it in a trap (if you make a trap) the bird could also be an quick escape, the best way to get one trapped where you can knock it out is if it eating/killing/fighting something but beware the thing it is fighting will try to kill it when its knocked out

Here’s my method on taming: Put a few levels into health for your argy, maybe 1 or 2 into weight. Fly to a area pretty far from the pack, or maybe around a mountain. Create a 2x2 trap with 2 high door frames on each side. You can use wood, rather than stone, because they are a quick knock out, so they won’t be able to break it. Now fly back to the pack, pick up your desired wolf, and fly back towards the trap. If you fly at a very high angle up or down, they can’t hit your bird. Drop them in the trap, dismount and knock them out. Now you have a very nice meat gathering friend! (My friends level 50 dire wolf harvested 100+ meat off of a phiomia.)

wolves can't damage wood or fit through doorframes, so making a trap is easy. Just 4 wood foundations, surrounded by doorframes. I would suggest using an argy to pick one up and drop it in the trap, away from its pack, then tranq it in peace.

Use tranq darts or arrow when you are level 62

I saw one in the yeti cave,it's level is 550.my dire wolf is 452,and it's killed by the level 550.At the end,I also died in the cave

I was taming a level 40 Wolf and it said I needed 6 prime meat. And it only took three. There was also an alpha carno but I killed it and I now have my wolf

Build a raft trap go in the arctic and hit it white a brid and get it in and nock it out them feed it the boom you have a dire wolf

Get a direwolf. Then get Another. And Another. Then make a pack!

If u see a high level just bola it climb up a rock it can’t and shoot it with tranq arrows but after every shot wait 5 seconds to get the most efficient torpor and then feed it prime or normal raw meat away from anything that can harm you this strategy is best on scorched earth on ps4 nerf dire wolfs plz

Very easy and fast to tame one!! Get a pteranodon, some bolas, find a rock and shoot the wolf on the head (if possible) using tranqs :)
