Getting a TLC patch in March 2018 to add howl that will initiate the pack bonus for 5 minutes, will be able to sniff out players or creatures with less than 50% health, and will be able to detect explorer notes. Like so people can see!
Vicious and lightning fast, the Dire Wolf is a great all-around mount for adventuring and attacking. I highly recommended to bring packs of Dire Wolves for any hostile situation. Whether it be kill Alphas, or raid bases, it's size, agility, and damage make for a deadly beast.
You can use this waltz for many things like protecting a base protecting you or just looking cool so they’re a really good team to have they Spawn in like the snow Area and they pop out of nowhere they’re super common so you won’t have any trouble finding them good luck to taming one.
The BEST base defense thing for offline or online protection, have more than 1 cuz they get a Pack boost and have an = amount of boy and girl for mate boost, watch your enemies beg for mercy, and the same goes for offense use the tactics above
This is my favorite creature in the game, they are strong, fast, have decent hp and stamina. They are so easy to find and tame ,you dont even need a saddle to ride them.they gather pelt, hide, chitin, meat so good that you just have to get one!
Easily one of the best combat mounts in the game. It's cheap to tame and pretty powerful, and there's no level requirement for a saddle. Make sure you tame more than one though, so you can get the mate boost
If on ark mobile get 1 male and 1 female from yeti cave revive outside and breed them, now you have 1 puppy with 100% imprint that will never die in caves. You can cheese your way on anything. Remember to use balm and carno kible .
Amazing tame with flawless speed, attack, and health. This mount is amazing for early or late game. This mount makes a perfect companion, especially in scorched earth. The statistic buffs from this animal being in packs also opens a way for a great multiplayer experience in pvp and pve.
Great exploring mount, especially when playing with friends. In a pack, Dire wolves can bring down creatures much larger than themselves. They dont require a saddle which is great, but that also means they have no armor. Level health and melee.
