Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a direwolf? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a direwolf.
They don't need a saddle to ride, save ppls time, they are a simple knock out tame.but oh boy.. when you get a pack taming is a wild ride literally
Kill of all the wolves except the alpha and bola at least 2 wolves make sure to have decent armour because they do a lot of damage
(for mobile users) you want to tame higher level direwolfs than your direwolf that your tame in snow biome...Go to the Whitesky cave or the yeti cave... raptor or sabertooth (with or without fully imprinted) with higher armor is only way to kill the direwolf without damaging yourself and your armor...do not harvest the corpse yet. Access their inventory and take the creature implant and leave the cave. Next take the implant to the obelisk or the revival platform to revive but it cost acident ambers and then knock out using tranq or toxicant arrow to make it unconscious and take it using meat or carno kibble.once tamed, enjoy your highest level direwolf
If picking up with Argy pump it's health. A level 12 does 30 damage!

Beginners Guide To DIREWOLF: Cute Club
The direwolf is an easy-to-tame creature and is a high favorite to Cute Club. 1) The dog lives in packs, so climb a high rock
2) Pick a certain one, one that stands out
3) Shoot that wolf with Trang arrows; 14 is a good amount
4) Feed any meat. Cute Club recommends raw meat
If you build a protected stone house it will stick it’s head in. It won’t be able to hit you but you can hit it.
Make sure you bring a otter or warm cloths wouldn’t wanna die
Bring argy longneck regular or shocking darts and hit it like so other people can see
Good and fun to ride there awesome furry bowel and look cool
One thing I think is easy to tame one in early stages is go just outside the tundra biome so you aren't freezing and build a taming pen. Then lure a wolf into it and start taming!
Build a stone pen drop it in with an argy and traq it bring bolas just in case it fails
If you see one of these things chasing after something by itself it is usually alone, so take the opportunity and chase after it and bola it. After you have used the bola, get out or make a wooden club and hit in the butt or on the side so it can’t hit you back. After you have done this and it is knocked out, put some prime meat in it for level ups and put some regular meat in it so that it has food.
Build a pen with 2 pillars in the corner drop it in these things are easy tames at most they take 40 ish narcotics if used properly I just tamed a lvl135 very easy with bolas 2 direwolfs mateboosted and pack boosted are incredibly strong and easy to use
Lightning fast Casey these creatures are very hard to tame
If you're trying to get these they're hard to find as "lone wolfs" so it can be tricky if you're looking for a certain level trying to lure or kill the pack before trying to claim your wolf.
If u dont have an argent then i suggest getting some freinds with tranqs and hitting it with everything you've got ounce down its pretty strait forward shove food i his mouth and wait for an hour
Definitely use an bola for a way easier tame. I dont recommend taking it on while on foot but it is a great early tame and as you level yourself and it aim for higher level wolf theyre an amazing tame to have.
Taming one of these on the edge of the arctic (island map) early game can make your life a whole lot easier. They're a small tame that doesn't have a saddle, so be sure to pump a little health on low level wolves as they don't have any armour, but one of these will make taming the larger carnivores a cakewalk. Bring about ten bolas to dispatch any other wolves that run other than the one you want, or build a small taming tower and aggro them within range. Stronger base damage than sabres is a nice boost.
