Intro.

Crimson was a dire wolf. He lived with his mother Amy, his father Fang and his little sis Rosie. They lived in a cave in the forest and that is where our story begins…

Chapter one.

Crimson awoke to feel his little sister Rosie jumping up and down on his back. “Crimson,Crimson!” She barked. “The moon’s gone, the moon’s gone the sun is up!” Crimson groaned and rolled away from her. “L-leave me b-be.” He yawned. But Rosie persisted. She came and stuck her snout in his face. “Pls Crimson.” She begged looking at him with her sweet little hazel eyes. “Mommy and Daddy said we can go hunting with them and they’ll teach us how to.” “Fine.” Crimson said knowing she wouldn’t stop till she got him up. Rosie yelped with delight. She raced round and round the room then sat on her haunches in front of Crimson, her tail wagging excitedly. Crimson rolled out of his bed of leaves and stretched. “All right I’m up.” He said gruffly. Rosie ran from the room to the room where the parents were. “Y’all ready to go?” Amy asked. Together the family headed to go hunting in the meadow…

Rorin’s Story

Chapter 1

“Come on Storm! He’s just a pup let’s take him in!” Argued Fluffy “No, you’re about to have puppies, we don’t need more mouths to feed” growled Storm “I don’t HAVE to be part of you “pack”” said Fluffy defiantly “fine” growled Storm before he went up and picked up the pup. Storm, Fluffy, and the pup walked and walked until they came to a cave “what should we name him?” Asked Fluffy, Storm growled, “well I wasn’t asking your opinion! I like Rorin” decided Fluffy with Rorin curled up against her stomach.

“Belle! Give me back the rock” yelped Rorin “No!” Argued Belle “kids! Come inside! It’s getting late” called Fluffy from the cave “Belle won’t give me the rock!” Yelped Rorin again “guys come on! We won’t get dinner if we’re late you know how dad is!” Growled Snow “fine!” Said Belle, dropping the rock. Rorin stopped to grab the rock while his sisters ran inside. Rorin pranced inside showing off the fact that he now had the rock “you’re late!” Growled a voice from behind Rorin. Rorin turned around slowly, dropping the rock, his ears drooping “d-dad I-I didn’t mean to be late! I-I was getting th-“ said Rorin, cut off “I told you not to call me that!” Growled Storm shoving Rorin with his front paw. Rorin ran to where they usually ate and sat down while Storm dropped some meat in the middle of everyone then dividing it, giving Rorin the least “c-could I have a little more” asked Rorin nervously “NO! You where late! When you’re late you don’t get food! You’re lucky you got any!” Yelled Storm “here Rorin” said Fluffy as she gave him her food “Fluffy! He doesn’t deserve that!” Growled Storm “you treat him poorly! He was barely late! Why can’t you be nice to him! He’s you’re son!” Argued Fluffy “he’s not my son! He’s adopted!” Finished Storm as he ripped of a piece of his share and gave it to Fluffy. The argument had left a bad feeling with everyone so they ate in silence. Later that night Rorin was asleep next to Fluffy, his sisters already asleep “mommy, why does Storm hate me?” Asked Rorin, Sad “well, it’s because your adopted, he’s always been grumpy, but don’t worry I’ll love you enough for both of us” said Fluffy, gently to Rorin, the thought soothed him to sleep.

(It’s been 2 years and now Rorin is almost fully grown) Rorin was out hunting in a group with his family, hoping to catch something good when they had tracked something into the open, and once they got to the clearing they didn’t see anything until 3 death worms popped out of the ground and started to chase Belle, Snow, and Rorin “Run!” Yelled Belle “Dont let them catch you!” Yelled Snow “Hang on kids! Me and your father are coming!” Called Fluffy with Storm on her heels.

Instead it caught me, my paw was bleeding from the bear trap and my waist being shot by traq arrows soon it went black... I woke up seeing the creature.. it let me free from the bear trap and flew off i didn't know why soon I was- with the creature. It decided to mount me. I didn't mind. Soon its been a few months she brought this brown male wolf name hunter. Me and him had 2 kids, both daughters obsidian and Lola. Lola was just born and looks like her father along with obsidian. Soon I went back outside to go turtle hunting for my human I learned today is named moon.

So, you know how the chances of twin on direwolves is 10% and triplets is 2%? Well, I’m not sure how this happened, but the first time I bred them, I got twins, then 2 breeds later, more twins, THEN LIGIT NEXT BREED I GOT TRIPLETS! Am I just really lucky, or is this some type of glitch? -GlacticWolf-

Let me tell you the history of Kala. One day, flying back home, crossing the Murdersnow in Ragnarok, we saw a hunter riding a griffin knocking down a quetzalcoatlus, on the moment the winged beast fell down, do to the drugs, a pack of direwolves attacks the griffin. To prevent the predators to kill their newly acquired prey, the hunter flew away to a lightning wyvern hidden inside the forest. Using his own griffin as bait, the hunter ordered his wyvern to use his lightning breath, massacring the entire pack and his own griffin. Even my own lightning wyvern, Rayden, shuddered at such horrendous spectacle, as we watched the burned corpses, another pack of direwolves approched from the nearby forest, it were Kala's pack. The hunter's lightning wyvern got prepare to use his breath again and eradicate the direwolves as they get close to his murdered, ignorants of their fatefull fate. The same horrifying image was going to repeat itself again, but this time we could prevent it. I spurred Rayden to intercept the lightning breath, his scales will be enough to stop the attack and prevent any damange, no risk on sight, but i saw the inevitable, we weren't going to be on time, with this in mind, a slight turn to the left, claws prepared, we grab the first direwolf at the same time the wyvern exhaled his breath. A blinding lighting cross our backs eradicating the whole pack, except a grieving survivor sawing his entire family being annihilated and their burned corpses falling in the snow.

Back at home, in Ingrid's pass, our new guest isn't very happy, the plan was to let her into a pen, letting her calm down, and see her beahavior, but that didn't go as planned. When Rayden was about to let her go inside the pen, she bitten him, and ran away, it wasn't a big problem, because she still remains inside the perimeter of our base, and she wouldn't ran away too far. But instead of scape, she goes direct to our stegosaurus, Stela, realising her frustration and anger with the poor dinosaur. Fortunatly, Stela is though, and it would need more than just those teeth to penetrate her thick skin. While Stela put up with the direwolve's attacks, i start to charge some narcotic darts on my gun, but then, the direwolf stopped his attack, and took sigh on a much easiest prey. Running upside the ramp that lead to the pen, i was expecting that she will follow me, and she didn't disappoint me. We fell inside the pen, and i can sneak away outside of the pen, before get bitten. After some darts, and a couple of hours, she felt unconscious, we spend the night together, feeding her, and not letting her alone. We could see her sight, mixed with saddnes, frustration, anger and loneliness, but sometime into that night, we could see her looking at us, with a bit of acceptance on her gaze. At dawn, she starts to get up, already affected by the drugs, but fortunatly, there weren't any trace of the animal from the previous day. Now with a slight bit of confidence she licked my hand. We named her Kala.

We get her out of the pen, and introduce her to our former pair of direwolves, Akhila and Sombra, they accepted the newcomer, and now, Kala is not alone any more. The hunt will continue, and our pack, is growing.

The tale of the shadow phoenixes

Chapter fourteen.

James hurried to the musician’s house. He was about to enter when he hear a soft, beautiful song echoing quietly through the musician’s house. Out of curiosity James vanished then appeared in the shadows of the house. The person singing was….Arianna. As she worked she sang:

“Are you, are you coming to the tree? Where they strung up a man, they say who murdered three. Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be if we met up at midnight in the hanging tree. Are you, are you coming to the tree? Where they strung up a man they say murdered three. Strange things did happen here no stranger would it be if we met at midnight in the hanging tree.”

She ended it on that note. Her voice had been pure, beautiful, and sweet. “So you DO sing.” James said softly. Arianna started. “James Aragorn Riddle! You scared me!” She exclaimed. James smiled sheepishly. “Sorry. I came back for my chess game.” James said. Arianna had blushed a dark maroon. “Sorry I startled you. Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone I heard you.” James said sincerely. Arianna studied him for a second then nodded gratefully. “…but you are a really good singer, with a really beautiful voice.” Arianna shrugged. “I don’t know…” she began. “But I know.” James said, grinning. “Don’t worry, I’ll help you overcome you’re..stage fright. I’ve had a lot of experience…Tom’s socially awkward.” James said. Arianna laughed. “Riggghhht.” She said. “We’ve better go. I don’t wanna be late for supper, my mom will have my hide.” James said. They hurried off, talking all the way and James? He’d forgotten all about his chess game.

Hailee awoke one bright sunny morning but she didn’t know it was sunny. For all she knew it could be cloudy. Hailee felt her way through her room till she came to the entrance that led to the main cave room which was kind of like the dining room/living room. She heard someone moving around the room. Their footsteps where small and soft, it could only be one person. “Hello Caleb.” Hailee said. “Hey Hailee!” Caleb replied happily. “Where is mum and dad?” Hailee asked. “Oh, they went hunting with Kayla and other members of the tribe.” Caleb said. “They said I was too young to go.” He continued, his voice laced with disappointment. Hailee smiled. “Don’t worry Caleb once you’re older you can go with mum, dad, and the rest of the tribe hunting.” She felt Caleb walk up to her and lean against her. “Hailee, you’re so nice, why don’t people trust you?” He asked. Hailee was startled by the question. “Well Caleb, our pack don’t like people who are different.” She replied. “Why?” He asked curiously. “I don’t know.” Hailee said. “Maybe it’s because you’re better than them, that’s what I think they think and you know what? You are.” Hailee laughed. “Right.” But she wondered to herself if they were afraid of her.

Chapter 9

“R-Rorin what’s going on?” Asked Lynx “it’s complicated but your lucky I didn’t kill you” replied Rorin “um yeah thanks for that, does this mean you believe in the prophecy?!” Asked Lynx excitedly “what will you do if I say yes?” Asked Rorin skeptically “well I’d drag you on a mission to help us get some strong allies then I’d drag you AND then to collect the things the runes told us to get THEN, we’ll just have to see what happens next” said Lynx “alright come with me” said Rorin turning around signaling for his new pack to follow

Once they got back to the oasis the small group of wolves that they’d brought with him spread out to give the news while Rorin went with Lynx following (btw Lynx still has Feather on her back) to where Fang used to sit “so what do we need first?” Asked Rorin “well I think we should get the talons we need first, ive gained some intel and by talons it means wyvern claws, and, well, I’m still figuring out the rest said Lynx as Thunder walked up “Rorin” said Thunder “is there anything I could do to assist you?” “Um, yeah, I need you to send out packs to go hunting for EVERYONE I think you’ll agree starving is a dumb idea, and also I need you to answer a question, can any of you guys kill wyverns?” Asked Rorin “I’ll send out the packs right away, oh and taking down wyverns is easy, just sort the wolves into groups of 8-10 and then taking out a wyvern is easy, why? Do you need us to kill some?” Answered Thunder realizing he had just questioned his leader “its fine, I’m not as cruel as Fang. Yes I need you to kill some, we need 20 poison talons, Fire talons, and lightning talons and we can use the meat to feed everyone” replied Rorin. Thunder nodded “we’ll get on it right away”

I’m not honestly sure how many chapters this story is going to have, sometimes it feels like fifty and other times it feels like ten, I’m hoping to get to twelve or more (not fifty lol)

Chapter 1

Deep breaths. That’s what I told myself as I watched our pack leader order us into attacking. Although the rex seemed harmless enough, it was still a rex. We began to close in, the rex began to flee. We followed close behind. Driving it strait for a cliff. For a split second, as the Rex turned to us in fear, I thought maybe it was weak, maybe we could take it on easily. But then, I saw the look in its eyes change and I knew our alpha had made a big mistake. Suddenly the rex turned on us. Before I could react the rex had already killed two of my pack mates. Crushing one and sending one catapulting off the edge of the cliff. I quickly retreated rushing past my panicked pack mates. I hopped on top of a rock and let out a loud howl, calling for my pack mates. We had to get out of here. Now with direction my pack mates quickly began to flee towards me. I howled for them to retreat. I was about to follow when I caught eyes with the rex. It looked at me for a moment. I wasn’t mad at it, I knew we shouldn’t have tried to take it. I broke eye contact with the rex and quickly followed my pack. At the time I didn’t know that this one rex would change my life forever. I’m Danna, a direwolf, and this is the story of my fight to the top.

“Cookie..”-rufus walked up to her-“yes rufus?”-she looked at him curiously-“do we give up on anubis,i mean i know that wother,leo,timber,and pine would be upset but..”-he looked at the pups-“he’ll show up rufus i promise”-she smiled-“ok..”-rufus looked down-

Chapter 17 ~the artifact of the hunter~

The group trekked slowly through the cave because the sea serpents had to carry their leader, Skyla and Nash flew a bit ahead of the rest, “so.. what’s it like being the daughter of the chief?” Nash asked. “Oh it sucks, I’m an only child, and since I had no brothers I have to be next in line, I have to train day and night, be at ceremonies and rituals and on top of all of that I have to find a “proper chief” to m a r r y ugh I just wish I could go into the jungle and explore.. come to think of it this is the most fun I’ve ever had…” Skyla said. “At least it’s not like most princesses having to act all proper and stuff” Nash said. “Oh no it’s worse.. harder to sneak off. And to top it off! My mother.. nevermind I don’t know why I’m telling you this why would you understand..” Skyla said, Then she flew forward ahead of Nash. “Oh I understand.. more than you know..” he said softly.

The cave was gloomy, there was bioluminescent mushrooms here and there giving off a green light but that was it, from what Nash could tell the stone walls were black, if not a very dark brown and it was very foggy, Skyla avoided Nash the rest of the trip until they heard something in the distance, it was a strange squeaking sound. “What’ss that??” Said a sea serpent. “No idea..” Nash said. The sound got closer and closer until they could see it’s shadow through the fog it looked huge, and then got smaller and smaller until a bat flew out, it was an onyc but probably a juvenile it wasn’t bigger than Nash bat was close. “Who dares trespas- oh forget it what do you want..” the onyc said. “We come seeking safe passage through you cave and your precious herbs to heal our wou-” “woh woh woh Ima stop you right there.. we don’t have any herbs and you can’t come through” the onyc said interrupting Nash. “Oh shut up you stupid onyc we know you have herbs everyone knows!” Skyla said angrily, this was the first time in an hour she had talked. “What she means I-” “well we don’t have any, any more!” The onyc said, interrupting Nash again. “How do you just not have it!!” Skyla said. “It won’t grow anymore, it used to grow using the beams of the great light but some monkey-bear things took it.” The onyc said. “Can I say somet-” “you listen here little guy I’m supposed to escort these creatures and that one is dying we need the flipping herb!!” Skyla said, interrupting Nash. Nash just walked away with a grimace, he clearly wasn’t getting a word in this conversation. “Little guy!! IS THIS THE WAY YOU ADDRESS A KING!” the onyc yelled, he was trying to seem intimidating but it just made his voice squeakier. “A king? But your what, seven..” Skyla said. “seven and three quarters!” The little king said. “Ugh enough of this what if we go get this “great light” back for you hmm?” Skyla said, sick of the conversation. “Okay deal, but good luck getting past the monkey-bears.” “Wait, what about our friend he won’t last long without medical attention.” Nash said. “My people can take care of him, but without the special herb we can only give you two or three days.” The onyc said” “well let’s get a move on.” Skyla said, glaring at the little king.
