Ummm you know how you can get a howl buff from them when there's two or more? Well my base is inconveinently DERECTLY ACROSS THE MAP FROM THE ARCTIC so it takes me like 10 minutes to get there. Anyway I tamed one today and it took SO FREAKING LONG to go there, find one, pick it up, bring it to a safe place, bola it, knock it out with a club, give it meat, and wait for it to tame. When I was taming one, I always have a hide sleeping bag on my Argy, so I slept there. When I woke up, the wolf was 59% tamed, so I fed it some narc. Then a sarco came runnin' at me and I killed it with my metal hatchet, got some prime, gave it to the wolf. It tamed, and Input it on a rock, flew home, requested it to my base. Done! Well it was so hard and I don't. think im gonna be taming another one.

Farming meat on a dire wolf is super easy especially if you have no hide then you get a whole bunch of meat and hide

Why isn't there a breeding tip chart? That would be cool and helpfull

To make life easier , just get a 250 wolf tamed first then head to the yeti cave and kill a lvl 550 wolf , take that thing that revives the wolf then revived and trap it then sleep to make its hunger bar goes down !!! To make it more easy , get your ass a soothing balm of 10× then feed it and BOOM !! YOU JUST GOT A LVL 852 WOLF (your wolf will get lvl for taming)

So what you do is. If it’s in a pack grab your bird and pick one up bring it far alway and boa it make sure your bird is on passive because if not it will kill it. Dire wolfs are a easy tame and can be a quick early tame if you do it right

If you want to take on some direwolves find a small pack no more than 3, unless you want to die and lose your tame if they ain't got good health, and find the pack leader if they aren't a high level you have a good chance but, obviously bring good armor and weapons and be wary of purlovias me and my friend got SHREEDED by a 120 and 95 because a purlovia stunned me and he was AFK

Separate them because they get a boost when they howl but if you separate them then they don’t howl🐺😃

Taming a lvl 90 right now, took 2 shots in the head with shock darts and a Journeyman rifle.

The best caving Dino for mobile you need to get one that is imprinted and a high lv and then you have the perfect cave Dino?

So the best way to tame them in my personal opinion goes as follows:

1. Get supplies: tamed saddled argy, 30-100 tranq arrows, a crap ton of bolas, narcotics, and a lot of prime meat. Also get four wood foundations and 8 wood walls,

2. Put the trap up like a box

3. Get on your argy, kidnap an angry wolf, and put it in the trap.

4. Get in there, bola it, shoot it, and feed it the prime meat.

5. You’ve got a cute wolf friend!

Me and my friends went to the winter area on a raft when we finally got there we weren't even on the beach and we hear howling immediately after there were four or five wolves under our raft my bed and all of our thach builds we're gone in an instant my friends were trying to find out what happened with SpearsI jumped off the raft and started firing tranq arrows after a second I started using my simple pistol I didn't have that much ammo then I was attacked by an argentavis I started attacking argentavis most of my friends were dead the argentavis killed me in with no way to respond luckily earlier that day my sister and I built a base on that Hill next to the winter area

The reason they’re ranked high for collecting angler gel is because they collect the most per angler. Use them in the snow cave and you don’t have to swim to the bottom of the ocean to get angler gel. Ascendant hide or flack will help keep you warm.

They can fit in most caves, that I’ve found. The only one that I have found they can’t fit in is the cave for the artifact of the sky lord on the island. They are amazing in caves if you level them right because of the knock back they do with the bite attack and your ability to use weapons on their back. In the upper south cave, it is a little nerve racking with the jumps, and the lower south cave is a little difficult to get out of, but it is possible. If you are able to get in on the back of an Argentavis, I’d suggest that to get the Dire Wolf in for the lower south cave, but other wise, the Dire Wolf can jump up and down that cliff.

Dude these things are killers. I have a wolf that killed 3 trikes and lived to tell the tale! (And they still live to this day) If you get a pack then no one will mess with you
