Probably one or favorite “dinos” once you tame one, it’s a walk in the park to tame another. I find it easier to build a trap and lead the pack in. Kill all but alpha, and shoot the alpha few times and mutton or kibble on hot bar. Bam Bam

It uses exceptional kibble. It’s also a passive tame.

My brother and I were taking them and as well as the killing the troop method discovered you can tame a female with a baby too with out all the killing

It doesn’t have to be the alpha, just keep the one you want untouched while you get rid of the rest

To tame:

Find alpha of the pack.

Kill other dinopithecus in the pack.

Get dinopithecus health under 85%.

Feed meat.

You can ride walls with these things and disable tek with its poop :)

I think it will be half of a human tall and will attack on sight most likely S E L F DEFENSE and will eat berry’s also eat meat

Nah man these things can’t be tamed I’m on official have sat here with mutton he’s under 85% health and it is the alpha can only feed it for once

Net the alpha and kill the pack using a thyla (bleed attack works wonders) the run up to aloha and shoot it once with a shotgun and your set to taming it make sure you use prime meat it works better and is cheaper than exceptional kibble no matter the level.👍👍👍

You need to tame the one that is glowing red. Because that would be the highest level and how you do that is by killing all the others in its group then getting it to 75% of its health

Once you passify the monkey, DO NOT stray too far away from it. It will start attacking again and you cannot tame it. Make sure to have the kibble or meat beforehand.

You can carry the alpha far from his/her pack and drop them into a taking pen then bring them below 50% to tame

You only have to kill two of them, not the whole pack. Once two are killed, it will tell you the health has to be under 85%. I was able to attack it with flak and a primitive sword. It eats anything. I used raw meat in my last hotbar slot.

They can be tame with meat but idk if its more efficient

Trap it in stone or higher and kill all but the alpha the best food is exceptional kibble

Need to fix this it eats meat to tame not berries

You can only tame the alpha of a pack. You have to kill so many of its pack and then lower the alpha’s health below 80% in order to tame it. I think it’s a cool mechanic
