Kaprosuchus, and most of swamp dino's are neutral to these guys. So don't be scared going to a swamp while riding one.

To all the people saying the dinopithecus sucks, or this isn’t a dinosaur blah blah blah..kick rocks. One this isn’t 2017, we have a whole Arsenal of dinos that aren’t dinos, too include dragons and space whales, even baby stealing platapus, so get dumped on. Two, the same old same old two legged reptiles and 4 legged mammals were getting old. People grew tired of using the same whole rexs for bosses and thaylas for caves. This is a breath of fresh air, and it’s a modest one at that. HP and Damage is on par with thyla/shadowmane, but with interesting twists such as helmets instead of saddle(more armor but degrades) and can throw poop and grenades. I tamed my first 145 yesterday and I’ve been completely happy with it in these early days of the new dlc!

Makes caves easy nothing aggros to it so you can just walk to the artifact.

It's ability to climb also makes it good

Fits in most on lost island.

May need a cryo-pod for tight spaces

This guy can't use guns but canuse grenades

it can throw poop like the mesopitheicus but the poop can damage tek.

Nearly the same base stats as the Shadowmane but more melee.

When in a pack the bleed is applied after you do the battle cry and the mate and pack boost stack, you can imagine the damage. Melee scales very well. The poop slows and drains, making this a very good high damage hit and run animal. The only thing holding it back would be the lack of a saddle but that’s easily remedied with a helmet. If you’re going to using the throwables, throw poop first to slow and then a grenade for efficiency. Could be very good in pvp with a pack and the bleed could potentially shred through high armor targets.

They can throw grenades and they can throw poop that disables tek which I think will be a little broken for pvp and they are big stronk

Don't try taming with tek armor cause it throws poop that disables tek armor

Out goes the phiomia and in comes the baboons.

The baboons can make wild creatures poop and they poop a lot themselves. Plus they are incredible fighters and great at harvesting meat. They’re also ten times stronger in a pack.

Incase anyone isn't aware...the slam attack makes everything you hit with it poop! So if you need to re arm with ammo, start slammin!

If tamed can throw poop and grenades, needs no saddle to ride and can get alpha if there are enough of them.

They don’t agro shadowmane so use them to build a trap around a sleeping one

Amazing tame! I tamed my first one a while ago when the lost island came out and I LOVED it! It has great speed great stamina good weight max, health better (or as good as) spinos! I can’t remember the exact dmg but I know it is close to thylas or carnos,it can climb! Jump far, throw grenades! Throw poop (I think it disables some tek stuff), and when in the wild they spawn in packs, to tame kill all the Dinopithecus in the pack except the Alpha, then it is a passive tame, I would assume mejoberrys are the best nonkibble but I think they might be omnivores, I forgot, anyway sorry for the long tip, I recommend you tame a pack of these ( I think they have pack bonus to). Apparently they throw their crap and can disable Tek structures... R.i.p overpowered tribes

Can climb trees, somewhat buggy but if you take your time it’s great for ambush in pvp potentially.

The poop slows and drains, throw poop and then grenade so you slow your target before blowing them up.
