You can only tame the alpha of a pack. You have to kill so many of its pack and then lower the alpha’s health below 80% in order to tame it. I think it’s a cool mechanic

We just tamed one, passive tame with cooked meat

It’s crap will make tek stop working and you can put grenades into it and it will put them in its turd and throw them so you can use them to siege other bases

From what I've heard and read these fun little beasties are aggressive but to get rid of the troops also known as the pack you just have to kill or knock out the alpha

Should be able to climb trees and have a buff when climbing trees. And honestly I think ark would make a pretty decent movie.

I found some dinopithecus in Valguaros redwood biome while fighting the broodmother.

On valguero they spawn the most around the lair from what I've seen

Nah man these things can’t be tamed I’m on official have sat here with mutton he’s under 85% health and it is the alpha can only feed it for once

Net the alpha and kill the pack using a thyla (bleed attack works wonders) the run up to aloha and shoot it once with a shotgun and your set to taming it make sure you use prime meat it works better and is cheaper than exceptional kibble no matter the level.👍👍👍

found on the lost island in the redwoods, the middle of the map. be careful of thylas, microraptor, pegos and troodons

They have an EXTREMELY RARE spawn chance on Val ( Valguero ), in the redwoods. Ark Wiki shows aswell.

Do not think its an early game tame I think you have to drop weapons # item you won’t need a saddle for it all proven By wild card
