Prologue (before this was the jaws of death in Rex section, this is set a year after that)

The volcano began too rumble, and the creatures of the island looked up at it, the tribes all gathered too watch, and then, it erupted. Lava burst out of its top, and the hole top blew to pieces, the maw was burnt into a fired of fire, and huge chunks of magma and rock struck the snow forest and the redwoods, burning and destroying the ancient redwood trees. Animals and people in the northern part of the island tried to find cover but to no avail. Only the southern part of the island survived.
