I have a lvl 267 bloodstalker. It took 150 blood packs. I know they eat alot more. It only wanted 150 blood packs.

Few things that I have noticed while raising bloodstalkers:

They are a very easy raise, 2 days is a very short time and they rarely eat if you do it right. They will eat raw meat like most while raising, but man it’s like feeding a rex. They chug through the meat. Rather than doing constant meat runs, grab yourself an owl (or make a bunch of beds if on genesis) and farm about 100-200 blood packs. They eat these much slower than raw meat, and it makes life a lot easier.

Don’t quote me on accuracy, and correct me if i’m wrong, but on official settings they eat about 25 blood packs an hour. Within the bloodstalkers inventory, bloodbags have a 1:45:00 spoil timer which is awesome. Basically, you can put a few hundred in these things inventories and leave them out overnight if you’re going for mutations and not imprints. Test for yourself and see on these numbers i crunched before you go to bed or work, best wishes!

They made it very difficult again. Use a paracer with platform saddle, and an enclosed box with a hatch frame to position yourself so that only the one you’re interested in can grab you(try without blood a couple of times to get right position). Then allow it to eat a few sheep(for te), before finally letting it pull youself up with blood packs on hand.

If you are on unofficial and brought a wyvern of any kind from valguero/ragna, and flying is enabled, you are in luck boi.

They don't aggro on such big creatures, so feel free to fly around, find the perfect level. Wyverns are able to pick bloodstalkers up, bring it to a safe spot, jump off of your mount and enjoy being sucked.

Taming is still super easy room around 100 for me to get a blood stalker

Yesterday, March 8, 2020, a 130 took 90 blood packs and shortly after I went to tame a level 100 and after consuming 50 packs it only went up to around 12% tamed on console.

A 150 Bloodstalker took 1,081 blood packs at an effectiveness of 30%

It took so long I have memorized every part of this stupid self-yeeting mosquito

Level 20 bloodstalker took 160 bloodpacks on Xbox, wtf

Don’t try and tames these yet. I’ve just had three in a row be instantly destroyed by the anti meshing detection immediately after taming. Not worth the hassle until they’re fixed

Xbox has received the patch, but I don’t know about ps4.

100bloodbags for lv130 on x3rate

Yes the bloodstalker takes WAY too many blood bags and hopefully either they reduce it or let taming multiplier effect the tame. To get the blood bags I suggest getting a lot of health on your character then place 10ish beds in your base and then start taking out blood and respawning in your base. While tamed, the bloodstalker will begin to drink blood from the player to regenerate health very quickly which is great since they don’t have a saddle slot or helmet slot and helps it survive.

Went for a 145 with 1000 packs. I checked the tame bar as my friend was the victim and it was at 51% with 560 packs left. The tame barely finished with 73 packs to spare.

Was 277 blood for a lvl 50 on 2x

This creature is the best but I suggest bringing even more blood packs +25 percent

I tamed a lvl 25 and it took 202 blood packs to tame it happy taming guys

When running through the bog always take a couple of blood bags so if 1 reels you in you can tame it

Further does the taming multiplier not count ATM this is likely a bug but you need to use the official rates(933 for a lvl 150)

Seem like 800 for a 140.... I think that’s a bit much.

If the bloodstaker is low level I recommend not to bring any tames your going to let it kill I tame a lv5 with just around 70 blood bags. May sound like a lot it’s not.

When your tribe owns an owl let one sit next to you and heal the one who is taming the bloodstalker. Works perfect and no additional bloodpacks are needed
