Chapter three.

After spending some time with Mrs. Fiona Cho started flying home. It was rather dark outside. She flew over the treetops almost touching them. Then she smelled it. A fire. She pushed herself faster until she came to the great tree where her mother the queen was always found. The tree was on fire and all the other trees around it. Flying around the trees were… featherlights. How did they found them? Cho wondered. She was hidden from the view of the Featherlights. “Find the princess!” One yelled. “Now that the queen has been gotten rid of, we must get rid of the air!” It said. Cho flew past the Featherlights before they saw her and into the great tree. She found her brother Kono leaning over her mother’s body, his head drooping low. “K-Kono?” Cho asked. He turned to face her, his eyes filled with tears. “She’s gone.” He said. “No!” Cho sobbed. She flew across the room and collapsed next to Xia’s body. “Please, no!” Tears dropped from her face. Another phoenix landed behind them. “Your majesty,”

It said. Cho started at being called that. “Y-yes?” She sobbed. “We have to go.” “He’s right.” Kono said.
