Within the last few weeks of posting my last News Broadcast. Wildcard has released a wide variety of content announcements.
With the first being the reveal of the newest community voted creature. The Paleoctopus, the Genesis Part I Ocean Biome Creature. With Wildcard releasing this statement to go with our new Kraken of the depths. “ When exploring the wide underwater biomes, you may notice two very different moods beneath the waves. Sometimes the calm is shattered by a sudden, violent surge—a frantic rush of ink and power that suggests the depths have finally lost their patience. Other times, the seabed gains an extra stone… a coral formation grows a few more “branches”… and the ocean floor becomes suspiciously still.
Disturb it at the wrong moment, and survivors will learn quickly that those eight arms aren’t just for show.‘ end quote. The Paleoctopus will be releasing with Genesis Part I this June.
Last Week, Wildcard then announced a new creature releasing for Astraeos this summer. The Boaratos is a literal Hellfire Pig, having tusks and a mane partially made up of fire. Being nearly twice the size of our current Hellpig, the Daeodon. This will be a walking fiery, tamable judgment for the bext big Astraeos update. This creature was originally created and designed by Dragonheart, the mod developer for creatures like Hapipalus, Desolatitan, Sanguivern and many other of the Overseer Experiment mods (which was what Boaratos was originally).
Lastly for newly announced Ark creatures. The next Ark Additions mod for official release has been announced. Which is also the closest to releasing out of these creatures announced. With the Acrocathosaurus releasing March 31st as an official addition to Ark. Leaving the Concavenator, Brachiosaurus, Deinocheirus, Suchomimus, and Velociraptor (with now the possibility of Shantungosaurus coming to official as well since Garuga achieved all the donations needed for its modded version) left for official releases.
Finally, Ark has also given their first actual reveals to the next two big DLC projects coming to Ark.
With the first one that should be releasing is Bob’s True Tales coming with also Genesis Part I, Tides and Fortune. If this sounds a bit pirate-ish of a theme to you. That is because Tides and Fortune’s theme is that of the scurvy sea dogs. Being a fully pirated theme addition to the new fully map seas being added to Genesis Part I, these seas will be bordering all of the main original map biomes and borders of the original map of Genesis Part I. And will come with semi procedural islands and NPC forts to fight against. Tides and Fortune’s will be adding new ships unique from Ark’s sister game, Atlas, and will also most likely be adding a new creature, new gear, and new skins for your characters/creatures. This will be releasing alongside Ark Genesis Part I and has already announced to be a Paid DLC.
With the final properly announced DLC coming to Ark being ASA: World Creator. That’s right, for those who are too poor to own the Xbox Dev Kit or are simply unable to download the 2 Terabyte Dev Kit on PC. Wildcard has found a way to fix that (kind of?) with ASA: World Creator. You will be able to create (with limited* power) your own modded maps for Ark and be able to share them with the Ark Community. Now, by limited power, I do mean that you will not be able to do anything like add your own assets into your Arks. All assets will either be pre-created assets from other Official Arks, OR, assets made and released onto the mod page. With Wildcard specifically saying quote “ Want to build your own ARK world without learning the Dev Kit? With the in-game ASA World Creator, players on any platform, including consoles, can design their own maps directly within ARK and share them with others via the Mod Browser.
While creators won’t be able to make new art assets or perform the deep construction associated with the full Dev Kit, the system provides powerful tools for building playable worlds. Creators will be able to place and modify actors, create reusable templates, edit their properties, adjust overall world settings, configure volumes and spawners, add mods and skin packs, and implement simple gameplay logic through a brand new scripting layer that combines Lua scripting with a Blueprint API.
Everything shown in the screenshot is part of the in-game interface, including the full GUI and property editing tools!‘ end quote. ASA: World Creator will be releasing sometime in Quarter 3 of 2026, and this will be a Paid DLC.
And while these were the only announced DLCs. Ark does plan to release a new version of Survival of the Fittest being run by Ark Aquatica’s team, Studio Sirens (this will be an Unpaid DLC, I think, though take this with a pinch of salt, as it could be very much a Paid Expansion). And Wildcard has went onto say that there are plans for a Dragon Themed Paid DLC, called Dragontopia, which is expected to release at the end of 2026. With a high chance of several Crossover Mods with other games or IP’s, and possibly new Fantastic Tames coming throughout 2026. And plenty more Paid Content for 2027.
We are also expecting that several free maps, such as Crystal Isles and Lost Island will be potentially releasing this year alongside Genesis Part I and all of these Paid DLCs. And that the five major TLCs will be occurring, with the first expected to be the Areneo TLC.
So expect that 2026 to be a busy year for Ark and full of Ark content!!!!

DinoSlayer, you could write a story if you wanted to, but if you’re only gonna write for the sake of writing I wouldn’t recommend.

Sylveevee, Chapter 4 of SOH was great! Yes, you are up next for TOT.
Wyvernian, the finale for OOS and Chapter 2 of LOp was awesome!
PrimalApex, I am currently reading Ultimus Chapter 25.
Break-it, Chapter 28 of TSOR was really cool! I like Tim’s vigorous calculation and planning ability (which makes sense) and I’m more curious about Amanda’s past with raptors. Since they’re able to respawn (i believe, besides Bruce) trying to run through the cave would be better than buying the artifact. Also interesting to see how Bruce can telepathically communicate with creatures, i cant remember if he did that in previous chapters tho anyway ill be around for Chap 29 and their caving
RelatingHen, i enjoyed Chapters 39 - 40 of JTAC! I assume Reaper got dizzy because she isnt ammune to the radiation of Aberration like an aberrant creature would be. Also Red Mask Guy and White Mask Guy are very intriguing, i assume we’ll see these goons later down the line. Their cockiness makes them funny. I assume their armor has an attribute or is ascendant if the bullets bounced off like that. I was also very shocked with Nal’s “death”. I’m more interested with how she even got that whatever thing in her implant, maybe it has something to do with Dread’s attribute. Dread himself should be a force to be reckoned with though, if he’s lived this long. Anyway I enjoyed those chapters and ill be around for Chapter 41
I saw one in the swamp but I thought it was a leech so I shot it withe a tek rifle and ran. Then I was murdered by a dienosuchus and I then wanted revenge so I went to kill the Dienosuchus but guess what? More came. I was running with 4 deinosuchus chasing me to my base.(I was on a sarco) and killed the raptor squad Exept the alfa raptor.my carnos took care of it though. B ut I made a memorial for the raptor squad who inspired bravery in all of us.(in case you were wondering my carnos were killed by some rexes and allos.)

Moon, yes I forgive you. It took me a while to find that post bc I have to look through popular and newest. Yes I think we can be friends and make amends. Also I’m sorry if I dragged this argument on. I didn’t mean to. Also I don’t think you’re a fake writer. So what if u spelled ‘acrossed’ wrong. Do you know how many times I have accidentally spelled in ‘we’ll’ instead of ‘well’? I’m so sorry if we made your month more stressful. The first month of the year is usually the most stressful for us all so don’t worry you’re not alone. Also you weren’t blaming us for nothing you were just trying to help Dododex, I’m sorry I should have told you this from the beginning. Pls forgive me. I’m sorry. 😢😢😢. So to make amends let’s do the peace treaty and try to be friends. And hopefully that works. Btw….I was just wondering…what books have you written? Bc I LOVE to read and your story ‘the obelisk’ is REALLY REALLY good so I REALLY REALLY want to read your other books. Also before I end this post I just want to say I’m very very sorry and I’m not pretending. ☮️

Okay, got all caught up on Hero’s of Pandora, so on to the next story to read which I think will be either reader’s story or jointed mysteries. I can’t wait for chapter 29 of Hero’s of Pandora though!!!!
Moon, awesome chapter you wrote!!!!!!!! It shows how Crimson really feels. But I hate the cliffhangers!!!!! The suspense drives me crazy!!!! I can’t wait for 78!!!!!! I am also glad you like my idea. And I’m excited to hear more on this upcoming project/better version of the obelisk/alternate story that will happen after the obelisk story. Also now I am gonna get all my thoughts on paper or on a writing site and prepare for to start writing chapters, characters, plot and the prologue. Also you should at the end of the obelisk do a video on YouTube with the whole story from chapter one to the final chapter of the story, that way it will all be be in one easy spot to read.

Answering to Moon, well when I saw the Pego I thought it would be him, when I saw the female Terror Bird I thought it would be her, but now I’m thinking it’s gonna be a Shadowmane... But still hoping for Thyla!!! Also, I was reading the new chapters with my dog and he started whining when Beyla came out of the cave🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Awsome stories never stop!!!

A Broken Memory
A fanfiction made by Seasnake, recalling my newest Among Us roleplay into ARK..
Chapter 1
Cooper grabbed his rifle. Behind the rock barricades was Cooper and his men, shooting at a pack of allos led by the Disnordians, the rival tribe living next to them across of the Boreal Forest on Valgureo. Their tribe, the Plyars, had been defending for too long now.
Cooper aimed at one of the allos' heads and shot, re-loading.
One of the Disnordians grabbed an assault rifle and fired.
"GET DOWN!" Cooper ordered his men as he, himself, grabbed a sniper and got up, aiming for his chest.
The man started at the sniper, and Cooper reconized him as Darlion. While getting a look at him and getting distracted, Darlion took the advantage and aimed. Choking darkness swallowed Cooper.
A blinding white light surrounded Cooper as he opened his eyes. Adjusting to the light, he saw himself facing upward heading across a hospital hall.
Two people stood running next to him, one with fiery colored hair and broad shoulders, strange yellow eyes in contrast to his dark brown skin. The other was a more slender man with dark, black hair and cyan eyes. He had pale white skin.
Cooper felt the pain of bullets in his thigh, chest, and arm. Wait, bullets? What had happened?
Who are they? What is going on?
They passed in a room, the two men following. A nurse shooed them out.
"Okay, Cooper, we're going to-" the nurse said, cut off by Cooper.
"Wh-who i-is Coo-cooper?" He stuttered, choking on his own blood. The nurse looked worried.
"Sedate him.."

Part 4
She lately had been chased into the redwoods by nerva with Christopher and li. She walked away while they did whatever they were doing. She thought about her true plan. She then tamed many terror birds(about 25) tamed 5 diplos 20 dire bears and she kept her giga nearby. It was angry with nerva so it ate all of his soldiers that it found. Finally tyrana tamed a bronto when she ventured out of the woods. Tyrana finally came back to Christopher and li. She said as a joke *give me one reason you should live* and then she said *im joking* they talked for a bit but finally tyrana recommended using nervas weakness.

Break-it, Chapter 28 (i think it should be 27) was really fun, I enjoyed the vibe of Tohigh and it was a nice break from the action. It was cool to see how the towns and civilizations of the ARK seemed to have created a currency system and engage in such purchasing and selling with it. Im interested to see how people exactly earn money in this world. Im also interested to see how they obtain the rest of the artifacts, but something tells me it wont be easy. Anyway, I liked the chapter, I’ll be around for 28!
RelatingHen, the rest of the ARKtic Memories / Scorched Earth arc being finished was great, so that concludes the fact Jerboa is somewhere on The Island. The Feathered Giga attack was also cool, im assuming thats part of a mod? I also liked the detail that non-native creatures cannot transfer over to other ARKs, which serves as a good continuity detail for why the C Tribe doesnt have such creatures on the Island. I also liked the Manticore boss fight and it was much better done than the Island boss fights, the shorter yet more memorable fights are a step in the right direction. Also now we do know Rod has bad intentions so Im assuming him and perhaps that Dread he mentioned a while back will be antags for Aberration (though that Rock Death Tribe or whatever it was called may also be an issue). The reappearance of Gitez was also pretty sweet, just to wrap everyones stories up in a nice bow. I also thought Sodden getting incinerated in the surface was pretty funny, and them being separated opens new possibilities for more characters and side plots.
As for the others teasing Sodden and Serenity’s “romantic chemistry”, I thought that was pretty silly / funny. Although I dont see it (if anything, ironically, Dorack and Nal seem to have more of a connection) happening, it could be possible in the future? I just havent seen much between either nor any sort of “feelings”. Serenity seems to care about Sodden because he’s helping her be free from C Tribe, whilst Sodden seems to care about Serenity because of his sense of justice and heroic nature. I think there needs to be more build up between the two before they could ever become a thing. Such light teasing about love is something I find humorous, and it doesnt have to lead into anything. I’ve grown out of my taste for romance, but I find it fun from time to time. Ik you said something about how there wont be much romance stuff, but just put this here anyway.
