When titanoboa is tamed they should give hide or scales considering snakes shed their skin and there is a mode to activate it

So the titanoboa is actually useful for once

When taming the Titanboa, firstly build a taming pen (google ideas if needed), drop a titanboa into pen. After this you can sit on top of the pen and throw eggs in front of Titanboa every ??minutes (depends on egg used for taming). Use an egg timer lol

I tamed from the back of my giga but you have to drop eggs from your inventory not your dinos.

So as for now, the Titanoboa is now Tamable on Ark mobile!

So here's a very good tip for newbies in ARK swamps.

If hunting, target the Boa first. Make sure you kill them!

Here's why. About the Boas, they have a good poison. They might knock out someone with just 2-3 bites. Not so deadly, but when you're asleep, other predators might kill you. You don't wake up quickly. Bring a good pet and some stimulant. You might need a ranged weapon too.

If you are near a swamp you will eventually run into one of these. Make sure to have stim berries in your hot bar for escaping these monsters. They quickly counter the poison so you dont pass out and become easy prey

This can most definitely be tamed on ark mobile now! 4/5/2025 does take a lot of eggs!

These things are actually useful! If you get lucky to have one attack a larger dino, it will kill it and faint afterwards, free tame!

Get on something big that they wont attack (I use a spino cause they're awesome for swamps) and drop eggs while riding it, the snake will eat the eggs and ignore you. JUST MAKE SURE THE EGGS COME FROM YOUR INVENTORY NOT THE MOUNT

Who agrees if they can coiled a small-medium creature same as how bola works and they can also knock out the creature they grabbed?. At least please make one functionality (except egg kibble) for them

For a lvl 55 a Dimetredon egg gives 3.2% tame. Thank god I also brought Rex and quetz eggs. It seems to slow down during night, it wholly paused eating and curled itself up at 93%. The second the sun came up, it started eating again.

A few headshots with even a normal bow can take down high level boas in no time.

Make sure to use fertilised egg's as they like to eat the eggs with baby's in.

To everyone who is currently breeding gigas for their eggs so they can sacrifice to the titanoboa: Just use sarcos as any fertilized egg that restores 80 food or higher all work the exact same so there is no difference between using a fertilized bronto, giga, rex, or sarco egg.

Titanoboa should be able to wrap around/grab an animals too, just like how a chain bola works. And they should be able to hitting/knock out the creature that they were grab. Since they just eat an eggs, its not fair if their utility was just for kibble

These are even more glitchier than the dung beetle because they can clip through/climb over walls 2 high even with roofs, so you have to use spike walls to contain them but if they get aggroed on the spike walls then they will end up dying.

If you’re a low level then you’re best bet is throw spears at its head until it’s brains are pouring out. Also decent level baryonyxs make short work of titanoboas

Here’s a good tip for the noobs. If you see one, RUN!!! If it bites you, you’re done for! The venom will put you to sleep and give the snake plenty of time to finish you off. If you do plan on attacking it, use some sorta ranged weapon and don’t let it get close to you.
