Encountering Tips

How do I kill a titanoboa? titanoboa battling strategies in ARK: Survival Evolved.
For new players: do not get hit by this at all or you will get knocked out. It will continue to bite you until you die. Please like this is my first post.
Snakes... why did it have to be snakes....
⬆️ If you have seen Indiana Jones
The dossier says:
"Found only in the dark caves of the island"
They are already wrong! It should say something more like:
"Found everywhere but the dark caves of the island, this creature will gladly ruin your day by jumping out and killing you as soon as you even think about going to the swamp. Nearly impossible to tame because it has to be tamed via passive which is very difficult to do. Worst of all you need to feed them fertilized eggs. Why can't it e a little easier?
If you're in an area that has a lot of these, put stimberries in your hotbar so if you get bit, spam those so you don't knock out, if you knockout, you're dead.
These things are nasty. They can knock you out with one bite, once you’re bitten you have about 10 seconds to eat some stimberrys or something or you’re dead. Fortunately, they have a weakness. If you’re slightly faster than them you can back away, hit them with a weapon with reasonable reach (pike, spear), then back away before they hit back. As long as you don’t bump into something, you’ll be able to kill them this way. Of course, If you have a good shotgun, forget everything I’ve told you. Just out of reach. (Mobile version)
This is scattered and common in swamps, or I think since I didn't visited the swamp until I got the pteranadon saddle, also this is an ez kill with a bow and arrow and gives prime meat so kill these things if you have a ranged weapon for free prime meat
Was getting wood with pteradon and didn't know one was sneaking up on me. Luckily I had my pteradon on aggressive when resource collecting, pteradon killed the titanboa but was knocked out so I sat there spamming stim berries to get him awake again.
Note: Have flying dinos with and have on aggressive when anywhere near swamp
Use ranged weapons against titanoboas and watch your surroundings as the can team up and knock you out.
In real life, Titanoboa was fifty feet long and lived in the jungles of Colombia 60 million years ago. It was a massive, definitely rideable monster that could squeeze the living crap out of you.
Ark made it a smol poisoner instead of a giant constrictor. it’s called TITANoboa. It’s supposed to be big.
Other fact: The irl Titanoboa lived alongside and possibly preyed on the irl carbonemys
These things are cowards and only win fights bc they spit 🙄
A hiss is all you'll hear
As an indicator I'm here
One bite from my snout
Then it's lights out
And your tamed friends might disappear.
Be sure to bring stim berries! And a gun. And a machete. And a flamethrower. Would you believe me if I said I actually like snakes? ~CL1
Owe. You just got bit! Eat a few Stimberrys, quick. They reduce tapor. Eat up!
If you see one of these don't just run. Turn around walk backwards while using a pike to poke it in the eyes. Keep your distance well and you'll kill it without even taking a hit.
To the guy who said that the ark species are made up they really aren’t there almost all real Dino’s that have lived
If it is a boa, then it should kill with constriction, now venom, boas kill with constriction, vipers kill with venom.
To collect eggs, build a 2 room pen (Dino gates work great as walls and dividers). Agro a bunch of TBs and lead them to one side of the pen then trap them in. Lead them back and forth between the sides as they drop eggs.
They are awesome, but in a way that every time you see a swamp or swamp creatures, and you think about death, death, and more death. They are a danger that could end you and other ARK players right as you step into the swirling world of danger of the swampland. It is most likely that a sarco or kapro will kill you first, quite frankly. This one time, since I’ve seen weird root things, I went into a swamp. On the edge, I saw what I thought was a root. This “root” chased me until it got bored and chased one of those paracerium things and I, fortunately, escaped. They are a murder waiting to happen. They paint the stain of grief and terror and death into your soul forever. Waterfalls of language in fire-blown claws. If you kill a snake and you and your friends are there, and more snakes chase you, you and your companions will wonder, “will it kill us?” Only one will see the dead snake. Depending on who loses the future. Just stay away and don’t mistake roots for a titanoboa or a titanoboa for a root. One will terrorize you and the other will kill you.
If you’re a low level then you’re best bet is throw spears at its head until it’s brains are pouring out. Also decent level baryonyxs make short work of titanoboas
Hope you’re doing well during this pandemic

If your going to swamp make sure you bring 20 Rex's 50 Raptors and 80 carnos
The easiest way to kill a titan boa for me is a bow and arrow
