ARK's base taming speed on PC, PS4, and Xbox is now doubled, meaning 1× is as fast as what 2× was previously. Dododex has been updated to reflect this. Use the "presets" dropdown for common multipliers.
For full Titanoboa taming details, get the taming calculator app.
Taming Calculator (Passive)
The Titanoboa is not tamable in ARK Mobile. These values are egg-stracted from Dododex's own tests and user reports. Timing and intervals are rough estimates, as the Titanoboa's eating pattern is unclear. Use the 'Report Data Error' button if any of your eggs differ. The Titanoboa must be tamed with fertilized eggs. Drop an egg near it and it will consume it.
The dossier says:
"Found only in the dark caves of the island"
They are already wrong! It should say something more like:
"Found everywhere but the dark caves of the island, this creature will gladly ruin your day by jumping out and killing you as soon as you even think about going to the swamp. Nearly impossible to tame because it has to be tamed via passive which is very difficult to do. Worst of all you need to feed them fertilized eggs. Why can't it e a little easier?
You tame them by droping ferti eggs from your inv on the ground. You need to do so when the snake is not aggroed, so sit on a rex or smthing it wont attack. Be sure to drop them from your inventory, not from dino ones, that will make it bugged, it wont eat. To a lvl 20 Rex egg gives 29% on 2x event, bronto 26.7% and giga and wyvern the same, looks like all the big eggs give approxymately the same amount.. so dont waste the best you have ? If they get aggroed on you just run away and return, taming wont drop. Happy taming!
Please note!. After tamed, THEY ARE EAT AN UNFERTILEZED EGG OR WILD EGG TOO!!, so dont spending your fertilezed egg for them. Find a wild egg, or make a dodo egg farm. And good news their food consumption are so little. I made a tried. So i put 10 dodo wild eggs on their inventory, and it still 7 eggs lefted after 15 days tamed (in game). Then I tried to put a bigger egg (1 spino wild egg), and they ate it when they are really-really starving (when their food bar is almost empty, maybe more less 10% lefted) it took 17 days to eat 1 spino egg, from full bar to almost empty bar.
Note: dont worry if they didnt eat your big egg. Becausez they are wait untill their food points is decreased as match with the many of the egg will fill. They know how many the egg will fill their food points, thats why they didnt eat it quickly
