Tales of Pandora
Origins of Salizar, chapter 16: ~the dragon and the spear~
“Are you sure this thing will obey me without question?” Salizar asked the Overseer. The whelp was playing in a corner across the room chasing its tail. “Yes, I enhanced the subject’s imprinting, you were the first face it saw and it will see you as its parent.” The Overseer said. “Children can learn to disobey their parents.” Salizar said. “Then I suggest not to be a bad parent.” The overseer said. Salizar groaned, “fiiiine..” he said. He walked up to the dragon, who at first sight of him ran towards him, it latched onto his leg and hugged it, the dragon was still quite small. Salizar resisted the urge to fling the child off his leg, he patted its head awkwardly. “Father, play with Apex?” The child asked. “Of course..” Salizar said through gritted teeth.
Salizar played the act of loving father rather poorly, but it got easier, he grew very fast and was soon three times the size of Salizar. He taught the dragon how to fly and not to burn everything in sight to molten ash. One day he took Apex to the arena observatory. “Look, this is your future home.” Salizar said. “I can live there?” Apex said excitedly. “Yes, you’ll have the whole place to yourself.” Salizar said. “But what about you?” Apex asked sadly. ‘What about me..’ Salizar thought. “Well, I can’t live there, it’s too hot.” He said. “Then I won’t either, I want to live with father.” Apex said. ‘Goodness this creature is clingy..’ Salizar thought. “Well, perhaps you could come to live with me one day, let me show you something else. He took Apex to the bridge that sent the supply drops down to Pandora. “This is Pandora, it’s my old home.” Salizar said. “Why can’t I live there with father?” Apex said. “Well, see that there?” Salizar said, pointing down to the castle below. Apex nodded. “That is the home of a horrible, evil species, the humans..” Salizar said. “Hu-mans?” Apex asked. “A wicked creature, all they do is conquer destroy and kill, I can’t bring you there, they would hunt you down like a trophy and mount you on their wall.” Salizar said. Apex chuckled a bit, “I am much stronger than puny humans! I can get rid of them, then Father and Apex can live together.” Apex said. “No no, you underestimate them, they’ve killed two of your kin already.” Salizar said, “no, for now you shall go to that place I showed you. Perhaps someday when I get rid of the humans, then we can be together.” Salizar said. “What about here? Can’t we stay here?” Apex asked. “No, no it’s far too small, your only a quarter of your full size my.. uh- Child.” Salizar said, ‘will this beast ever shut up..’ he thought. “Ok..” Apex finally said, very disappointed.
Apex spent the rest of his childhood in the volcanic arena, he wasn’t alone, his flyer minions kept him company, but he longed to see Salizar again. Salizar was glad to be rid of the dragon for a while and focused on another task, how to give the artifacts back to the humans without them getting suspicious, he hatched a brilliant plot, with the help of the Overseer he fused the three artifacts into one weapon, a tek spear. It theoretically could still be used to enter the arena, but also be brought into the arena itself, the perfect escape plan for Apex.
Drake’s subjects were beginning to spread rumors of his weakness, after his daughter’s death he had let an entire taskforce fail their mission (though the people didn’t know what said mission really was) and then go missing without a trace. Then he lost the artifacts needed to escape the Ark. Drake decided to pay a scribe to record Drake’s exploits and make him look like a hero. “Your highness needs a symbol of power, something to show the people that you can protect them, like Excalibur!” The scribe said. “Excaliwhat?” Drake said. “Umm, Thor’s hammer? Uhh ooh! Gandalf’s staff?” Drake looked at the woman, slightly annoyed and clearly not understanding. “Right, I forget your excellence is from my past.” The scribe said. “Look, Ms?” “Sylver.” “Miss Sylver, I don’t want to lie to the people for publicly.” Drake said. “Of course, but right now the people certainly do not see you that way, so unless you killed a snake when you were a baby there’s not much I can do but lie.” Sylver said. King Drake was about to speak when something shattered through the window Obote them. The glass-worker who had just replaced the shattered pane and happened to be walking past carrying the replacement bedroom window sighed and walked out of the room with his head hanging down. The thing that had shattered through the window has been trust right into Drake’s throne. He walked up to it and pulled it out. “I think we have our hammer..” Sylver said. “It’s a spear.” Drake said. “Never mind..” Sylver said.

Journey: Chapter 18
After a half hour of chasing, Forest finally got the Pegos to stop chasing Nightfall. They all knew how to speak Carnivore but only the father spoke it fluently. They all looked at both Nightfall and Forest in agitation.
“So, your saying that this isn’t the troodon that stole our kibble?” He said scowling. Forest nodded.
“It’s nearly impossible for him to be the thief.” Forest said,
“Then where did he get the kibble?” The mother asked, Nightfall rolled his eyes.
“Look, that isn’t necessary to know. But I got it from him okay. I said it when I first met you three.” Nightfall said,
“So our kibble is gone?” She said,
“Sorry, but it probably is.” Nightfall answered. The female pego began crying. Tears running down her snout
“That was the last of our kibble it took from us. All our precious food gone.” She sobbed, Forest couldn’t help but feel bad for her, for them. And he could do something about it. He set down his pack and started going through it. Nightfall looked at with a confused expression.
“Forest, what are you doing?” He whispered. Forest pulled out the rest of his kibble. And reached his talons out
“It isn’t much. But I hope it enough for you three.” Forest said, the pego eye’s sparkled as it screeched and squeaked in joy.
“Thank you!” She said as the she and her child and husband ran off into the thick brush. Forest smiled, but Nightfall cupped his claws over his eyes.
“Good job Forest, you just got conned on a different Ark.” Nightfall said sarcastically, Forest gave him a look.
“No, I just gave them my kibble because they lost theirs.” He said,
“Forest… They conned you for the kibble. That was all an act at the end. Pego’s will do anything to get something from you.” Nightfall said, Forest was gobsmacked at realizing this. Nightfall sighed.
“Don’t worry about it. You still got meat. We should probably head to the Green Obelisk as soon as we can.” Nightfall continued. Forest sighed and looked at Nightfall.
“Why wait then? Let’s go now.” Forest said, Nightfall smiled and the two set off for the Green Obelisk.
“So how long have you been up?” Forest asked Nightfall, “Oh, for a few hours. I didn’t hit hard ground like you, I hit a softer spot in the ground.” Nightfall said.
“How did you hit softer ground??? We are in the middle of a desert!! All there is is sand and rock and the occasional tree or cactus!!! What did you hit that didn’t make you not pass out” Forest said.
“Uhh, you!! I aimed for you after you hit the ground!!” Nightfall fibbed, grinning a mile wide. Forest glared at him “You’re Joking?” Forest said unamused.
“If I said no, would you leave me here?” Nightfall said still grinning. “Why would you do that?!” Forest yelled in shock.
“I’m joking, I’m joking. I landed in a tree.” Nightfall said. Forest glared at him.
“That’s not funny.” He said. Hot, dry wind blew into his face.
“I thought it was.” Nightfall said,
“It wasn’t.”
“Jeez, don’t be uptight about it, I never get to do stuff like that.” Nightfall huffed. Forest sighed.
“It’s sorry, I’m just not use to this heat and I need water. I haven’t had any water since early morning yesterday and my mouth is dry.” Forest said. “Oh, well there are water veins here on Scorched Earth so we should run into water soon. If not, there’s water at the green obelisk.” Nightfall said.
“So. Why did we land here? You said you’re from Fjordur??” Nightfall said. “I am. I don’t even know where we are besides knowing it’s name Scorched Earth and that it’s has a desert.” Forest said confused.
“It is a desert, nothing else.” Nightfall said back to him. “Oh I think there’s a water vein here.” Nightfall said adding to his comment before.
“This entire place is a Desert!!!!!” Forest yelled, “If you’ve found water, I getting water first and I’m filling my canteen.” Forest continued exacerbated.
“Okay, let me make sure this is a water vein.” Nightfall said. He walked further ahead
“Okay, so the water vein is over that ridge-!!!!” Nightfall screamed.
All Forest saw was red blur flash by as it hit Nightfall and he went flying with the blur. Forest followed and when he caught up, Forest couldn’t believe his eyes.
Hey guys im back with part two of the titanoboa attack on me and my pack of 3 dodos٫ and 3 dilos. so resuming...Beans was unconsious!!! I stared at her in disbelief. it would take a couple of mins for her to wake and i knew that the snake was mad. i waited for like 2 seconds with my torch looking around fearfully٫ acting antsy and when i was sure it was gone٫ it came from nowhere and attacked me. im ashamed to say that i ran away and left beans all alone but i didnt want to die. On my way to my base retreating٫ i stumbled on a branch and the titanoboa caught up to me and attacked me. i threw as many punches i could before it killed me but it only took a few seconds. i had made a grave mistake. when i responded٫ i ran outside and whistled for what was left of my Dino family. they were too far away to hear my whistle so i went to the water's edge and Drinked٫ thinking i outsmarted the snake but then it attacked me agsin! BOOM!!! i had led it to my base and it had killed my baby dodo. guessed i hadn't noticed how close i was to my base when i died . IT knocked me un condi out like it did with beans and killed me. I still mourn my lost dodo family of three including٫ Liana ٫ Luna and baby Byren.

My pteranodon immediately took action and fought them. He still tried to protect me as he was slaughtered alive.

The Arks: Over Heaven (by Ben)
Chapter 75: FEAR
Samuel’s feet pounded against the soft redwood grass, and he could hear its distorted voice echoing behind him, getting closer and closer. Its feet were swift and quick, with large gaps in between them before another footstep was made. It was definitely making large strides, but Samuel didn’t think looking back was a good idea. No, he KNEW that it wasn’t a good idea.
Samuel spotted a large rock formation ahead, and his heart leaped with relief.
“Thank goodness,” Samuel shouted to himself. As Samuel reached the rocks he instantly began to clamber up it. He reached the top easily, blood stained on his hands and scratches forming along his arms.
Samuel looked down to see the albino Raptor come to a skidding halt. Its eyes were pinned down onto Samuel, never moving away. It tapped its claw on the ground a few times, testing the waters, when it unhinged its mouth again to speak. Its eyes rolled to the back of its head.
“Samuel, why are you scared? It’s me, Nova! Gosh you’re so paranoid sometimes,” the Raptor cawed, “I was only messing with you since it took you so long to get to me… Please come down! I killed a raptor when I was out and about. I thought I should’ve told you sooner, but- I suppose now is the appropriate time since you’re so afraid!”
Samuel began to breathe rapidly. He had no weapons on him, no items, no resources he could use to deter the beast. Nothing. He was alone on a rock and all the Raptor had to do to get to him was to wait for him to come down. He was doomed. Samuel could feel his heart beat against his chest so hard that it began to hurt and ache. Samuel clutched onto his graduation robe tight and gritted his teeth, gripping onto the rock as tightly as he could to make the pain go away. Blood seeped onto the rock, as the Raptor let out a glare.
“COME DOWN FROM THERE, SON!” Samuel’s father’s voice echoed from the Raptor. It jumped up and slashed at Samuel’s hand with its talons. Samuel let out a cry of pain, retracting his hand and holding onto it tightly.
“You’re making me upset, Samuel. You disappoint me sometimes,” Warren’s voice boomed.
With one final leap, the albino Raptor managed to grab onto Samuel’s leg. Samuel let out a plea for help as the albino Raptor dragged Samuel down from the rock and onto the ground.
“HELP ME! SOMEBODY, ANYBODY! HELP!” Samuel cried out. The albino Raptor slammed its foot into Samuel’s body, its talon dangerously close to his neck. The albino Raptor gave a cruel smile to Samuel as it got up close to his face.
“You. Are. A disappointment,” Aurora’s voice echoed from its mouth, “You- Hurt- Us-”
Blood suddenly shot out its mouth and onto Samuel’s face. Samuel looked to the side, disgusted, and his lip quivering. He looked back to see blood dripping from its teeth. Tears began to form at the corner of its eyes.
“You. Killed. Us. Without mercy,” Larry’s voice screamed from within its body, “Even. Though. I. Surrendered.”
The red glow around its body suddenly began to shine brighter, and it let out a howl of pain, stumbling off Samuel’s body. Samuel sat up, his eyes wavering as he began to crawl away as fast as he could.
“What was I thinking running all the way out here?” Samuel asked himself as he looked back to see the albino Raptor convulsing on the ground. Foam began to collect at its mouth as it let out another shriek of pain.
“I should’ve just stayed back at the cabin. I should’ve just run inside to get the others’ help, but NO I have to-”
Samuel’s mind suddenly began to cloud, as the forest was filled with a red fog. He could hear drowned out whispers coming from everyone, all at once, everywhere. None of them had anything good to say about Samuel.
“Samuel? Oh that weirdo? Psh, yeah, I’d leave him behind at any moment,” he could hear Ruby say, “We only keep him around because he’s smart. He’s pretty damn useless. He’s not a super good fighter, and as far as I’m concerned his attribute is useless. I’m surprised he’s not dead yet-”
Andres’ voice echoed louder, “Ahh, him. He’s a special case, ya’ know. I think he’s a bit off. A bit mentally unwell too. I think we should just drop him. He’s like a sociopath, he doesn’t care about anyone but himself…”
“I don’t like people like Samuel,” Tiffany said, “They may be smart but in the end they get everyone but themselves killed. He is the biggest danger of this island and thus must be slain.”
Finally, a familiar figure emerged from the fog. She had a deep tan and long, black, shining hair. She had a frown on her face as she looked down upon Samuel. She clenched her fists tight.
“Oh Samuel. I don’t even recognize you anymore. You’re a monster!” she yelled, “I can’t believe I’m best friends with a FREAK.”
“FREAK, FREAK, FREAK!” everyone screamed in his ears.
Nova raised her boot and shoved it into Samuel’s face, causing his vision to flicker briefly. Blood burst out of his nostrils, as everyone took turns kicking at his body.
“Someone make it stop, SOMEONE MAKE IT STOP!” Samuel cried out.
“Don’t worry, I’ll make it stop.”
The unrecognizable voice made Samuel’s eyes widen. Samuel’s head was violently slashed at, and Samuel screamed bloody mary as he could feel his eye swell with blood. A jagged cut was deep across his face that ran from his forehead to his lip, and cut right through his eye.
The red fog quickly faded away, leaving nothing but the albino Raptor to torment him. Samuel sat up from the ground and felt more blood trickle down his face. It just reopened the same scratch the first Raptor and its squad gave him during their rematch.
The albino Raptor’s eyes seemed to be like swirling black masses. It inspected its talons closely, as if it were still getting acclimated, and then looked up at Samuel.
“I hate your kind,” the albino Raptor firmly stated. Samuel stayed silent, “Not you humans, but you monsters. Monsters like you are why I exist. You’ve been putting me through hell ever since you got here, and started hurting people… physically. And emotionally. You could have been a good person, and done the right thing, but you didn’t. You chose to be this way.”
The albino Raptor stepped forward.
“I will make you suffer. So you may feel what I’ve felt. Do you understand?”
The albino Raptor opened its jaws…
PEW!
A stone arrow whizzed through the air and struck the albino Raptor right through the skull. Blood spurted out of its skull, and the swirling black masses instantly faded away, its eyes seemingly returning to normal. The albino Raptor collapsed to the ground, creating a puddle of human and raptor blood on the soft moss.
Samuel looked up to see a woman with red hair with a crossbow walking up to him. Ruby. Samuel looked up in relief and shock.
“Ruby? You… saved me?” Samuel said in wonder. Ruby looked at the dead Raptor and nodded.
“Yes, I did.”
She looked off into the distance, as if she spotted something or heard some commotion. She turned back.
“I heard your pleas. I’ll admit I wasn’t going to help though. I thought you had it all handled at first. You got quite a bit of damage on it even though it had you pinned down. And when it was attacking you, I considered just walking away and pretending that I didn’t see a thing.”
Ruby smiled softly, holding her hand out to Samuel.
“But I changed my mind. One, I don’t think I’d be able to sleep knowing I let someone die on purpose. And two,” Samuel grabbed Ruby’s hand, and she hauled him up, “You’ve proved me wrong.”
“And… what exactly did I prove you wrong about?”
“Your feelings,” Ruby said, “You have them.”
Ruby and Samuel began to walk back home. Samuel clutched onto his hand tightly, which was still bleeding. He didn’t even care much about the wound on his face. He just wanted the pain to go away.
“Me and Neddy had a talk yesterday,” Samuel revealed to her, “And, he said I needed to change. I needed to be a good person.”
“And are you going to be?”
Samuel looked down at the ground, before promptly nodding.
“Yes. I’m going to try my best… No, I AM going to be a good person. Starting now with a sorry. I’m sorry, Ruby. For everything I did. For hurting your friend. And I’m sorry that I never really spoke to you at all. I didn’t really consider you to be very helpful after we found those beacons. I’m really sorry, Ruby.”
Samuel turned back to look at the albino raptor’s corpse. The red haze was gone, and it looked significantly smaller than it seemed to be. Was it all his mind playing tricks on him? Was what it was saying real at the end, or an accumulation of his guilt? He wasn’t sure.
“And that… thing back there. It made me realize how I’ve treated everyone. Even Neddy, the person who’s saved me all those times.”
“I'm glad Neddy had that talk with you. He has that sort of... effect. It's why I am who I am right now.,” Ruby said, turning slightly red. She took her glasses off and rubbed the fog off with her shirt, “Anyway, I heard a pretty brutal fight not too far from here. We should check the aftermath out tomorrow morning.”

So I was new to the game and I didn't know that these even existed. So I was riding around on my newly tamed para and all of a sudden it's getting attacked something and I didn't know what it was because I was riding on the para. And before I could even get off him he died the titanoboa I tried to run away but I couldn't and I died to it that when I realized how brutal this game really can be.
The End. Rip Perry the para

Chapter 3: Revenge
8 years later.
Spitter was surveying the swamp, checking for anything out of the ordinary. The norhterb region of the swamp had been raided by humans, and the defense team 2# was scarring them off. The leader, Spitters mother, was also in the defense team today.
A blue and brown boa came slithering his way. Spitter recognized him—Frill—the second in command to his mothers defense team. We’re they done already?
“Spitter,” the snake panted, his voice low. “ we forced the humans to flee. But—“
“Why did my mom send you? Why not her?” Spitter asked.
“That’s the thing,” Frill panted. “Your… your mother didn’t make it.”
Darkness filled Spitters world for what seemed to be forever. No. No. NO.
“I’m sorry spitter. They, they had things we’ve never seen before. They took her we couldn’t… we couldn’t save her.”
“Thank you Frill,” spitter said, bowing his head. “I—I’ll be back.” He jerked away as tears began to force their way through. He fought them back, flooded his mind with theirs from years ago.
—their learning. His mothers voice filled his head. It couldn’t be.
He slithered to the defense camp, searching for Zari.
When he found her by a cypress tree she bowed. “I’m sorry for your loss Spitter,” she said sincerely. “ I assume your taking command?”
“Yes,” Spitter answered. “We’re raiding the e humans today. I’m going to make sure they don’t hurt another soul.”
By the way! This is just a group of sport-hunting humans!! The good ones come soon!

I lost my precious Screech, a 287 level Sinomacrops that I LOVED with my life to a Baryonyx level 90. Never again, I said.
So I found a new Sinomacrops.
I didn't love them as much, but it was a max level I named Moon.
HOWEVER, I wanted to go looking for a baryonyx again, and I forgot Moon was on my shoulders. But a titanoboa got me from behind, but Moon tried to attack it and got knocked unconscious. I woke up, but by the time I killed the snake, she died. Now, it's on a taxidermy with a sign "SNAKES = MURDER = CRY"
Moral of the story, DEATH TO TITANOBOAS!!
I was once crossing a swamp after I died earlier to a Titanoboa, and I was riding a Carno I called Hamilton. I was slightly inexperienced with crossing swamps like that, and guess what? I got killed by a couple of titanoboas and a few Sarcos with a dash of Kaprosuchus. I love it when the entire swamps population decides I am the enemy. I never even got a notification for the carno, so prayers for Hamilton.
