So long as you don’t get bitten roughly 3-4 times, a titanoboa or other tranquilizer creatures can’t do much against you. They inflict torpor(roughly 40 torpor per hit), which leaves you prone to attack from stronger creatures or swarms. So long as you keep your distance(titanoboas are easy to detect with their movement audio).

Use a spear to kill it avoid the swamp it’s full of them just a minute ago I lost my dinosaur ride and had to avenge it and ended up murdering the entire swap with my iron spear and cross bow . They are low in health, if you get bitten kill it , and go jump on a tall rock before you pass out

Usually drop spears and arrows. To kill these back up and attack from afar as these boys are kinda slow

to tame a snake level 20 in 1x I used 5 fertilized eggs from Rex and 2 from Quetz. I just dropped them on the floor and took the snake. Very fast and easy.

If you encounter this annoying beast find a high rock pull out your bow and arrows and rain arrows on this creature

I found an unconscious Trike in the swamp, starving, but still had full torpor. Never saw the snake.

The best way I kill this thing is if I’m in the caves bring a bow and arrow,and if I am in the swamp I use my level 27 Triceratops. His name is Tops.

The Titanoboa technically does not kill with any venom as I’ve seen some people trying to clarify between constriction and venom. While it should kill with constriction the titanoboa kills from biting, the venom just keeps you knocked out. I agree though the titanoboa should grab you (like thylo/kaprosuchus) and constrict allowing it to crush your bones after prolonged constriction and then having the player pass out from lack of oxygen. Then the last bit would be it would swallow you whole. This way it gives you a chance to break free from initial constriction however if you don’t fight back it’s sure death.

A pretty obvious tip is have stim berries in you hot bar withat water filled water skin as soon as you get hit by one use the stim berries and water skin to cancel it out

Never go to a swamp they’ll knock you out and a sarco will finish you off.

I went to the south cave and got unlucky and when I tried to get the artifact I got ambushed by a MILLION of these.

Leave and rejoin ark to get rid of these monsters

If your going to swamp make sure you bring 20 Rex's 50 Raptors and 80 carnos

For those who are dum like me And Took too much time tryna figure out how to Fertilize an egg all ya need to do is :

gather two of you're tamed creatures ( 1 male and 1 female ) ( THEY MUST BE TAMED. )

Click The Trex Head thingy on them and Enable wandering.

Place them in A Space Big enough for the two of them to fit But not enought for them to run around cuz it will ruin the mating progress [ They MUST. be really close to each other ]

After that Just wait until the female poops out an egg and Give it sum food for its hard work.

[ Also. some eggs die very quickly if its too hot or too cold like dodo eggs ]

If you are at a higher level and you have a longneck rifle expecially one with more than 100% damage use it from a little ways away and you can kill them easily. Then walk up to them and harvest them.

If you dont have the longneck rifle i suggest dont go near them, but if you are a savage and want to kill one take your pike or spear hit it then run. Then turn around with any ranged weapon and just keep shooting. If you dont have a ranged weapon i suggest you not trying to kill one because a few hits and you are going to die.

Rock Drake eggs work as well. Not sure why theyre not on the list.

When trying to tame, remember the snek will only use fertilized eggs. Its a passive tame, but you must drop the eggs on the ground. Knowing this it’s better to make a 4x4 pen and drop the snek in, while also dropping the fertilized eggs in the pen.

If on aberration, holding a snek with the karkinos over your eggs will also allow the snek to eat eggs while not needing a pen. This is much easier.
