Just back up and make sure you pumped weight and move speed and whenever it gets close turn and run jump once or twice and turn around and continue, they give metal tools sometimes so their great early game kills, just carry stim berries on your hotbar

I went there to get my first cryopod, I tested the cryopod on my ptera but when I tried getting it out it was just stuck there, so Im basically just stuck in the green obelisk that is known for being close to swamp. It didint end well and alot of predators were there mostly boas

While trying to kill the things just keep on backing up and when it gets close enough punch it, it will be knocked back then slowly get closer to you again, repeat this for a bit and it will die, btw they drop good stuff like tranq arrows, pickaxes, etc

Switch to Enable "Only Target Conscious" and after it knocks a dino out it will stop attacking it. Allowing you to then tame said dino.

If you're going into a cave with a tribemate and you know the cave has Titanboas, bring a raptor, and just have the raptor ahead of the person on foot, it can one hit almost every Boa, and poison doesn't affect your raptorr as badly.

This is actually a great creature to tame!!! They are found in many areas and they are slower than humans, Just make a simple trap and tame it. ( It is easier if you have a bunch of female dinos to get eggs from ).

After taming, level it up a bit and go to a strong dino ( Maybe rex ) (( You will probably need a few titanaboas for this. )) and the titanaboa will knock out the rex and if you have meat, tame the rex. If you have enough titanaboas and they are a good level and you having meat, i will know have a pet rex!!!

These guys are the bane of the swamp! I recommend shooting them with a long range weapon like a bow or crossbow. They knock you out in about 5 strikes depending on your armor.
