Tips & Strategies

What are tips for titanoboa? Tips and strategies for titanoboa in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Was getting wood with pteradon and didn't know one was sneaking up on me. Luckily I had my pteradon on aggressive when resource collecting, pteradon killed the titanboa but was knocked out so I sat there spamming stim berries to get him awake again.
Note: Have flying dinos with and have on aggressive when anywhere near swamp
First I knocked the snake out then put wooden spiked walls around the snake so it is separated from everything. I then put a fertilized egg (I used a bad lvl wyvern egg) and then dropped it near the snake. It ate it but now you have to wait for it to wake up and then it’s tamed! Hope this helps!
On Abberation use a crab to pick it up and drop all of your low level rock drake eggs on the ground. The titanboa will eat the eggs while it is in your claw. Eats roughly every 20 secs, just position it near each egg.
A great way to take these is near the Rag Wyvern Trench. Fly in, grab the eggs, if it not the level you want, find you a titanboa you like and start feeding them the eggs. They take a while to tame, but are cool. It appears they still eat eggs after taming.
In the swamp biome the snakes can be found everywhere so try to find a land they can climb most rocks so flat ground is your best bet brace yourself against the rocks on the spots so they can't sneak behind you and you can get a clear shot
These things are very silent. Be wary when exploring caves and swamps, since you can barely hear them coming until it is too late. Despite the name and its inspiration, the creature is not very large. That makes their surprise even worse.

Keep stimberries with you because you will probably fall asleep when up against these guys
Many say its hard to tamed. Wrong!! Its very easy. First tamed 2 or more diplodocus, and let them breeding. Take the egg, run to swamp, find loner boa(sad), put the egg before boa seen u, run away from it and watch boa tamed. No fly dino, but raptor riding (just in case if they spot me). I tamed one at midle game
Here are 10 things you probably didn’t know about the titanboa
1. It only eats fertilized eggs
2. Lives in swamp like areas
3. If you get hot it will ko you unless you have stims
4. Use brontosaurus eggs not Giga or wyvern because they are the same %.
5. When tamed they eat normal eggs
6. There egg is one of the rarest in the game if not THE rarest
7. Passive tame
8. I don’t think it’s tamable on mobile
9. They are weak so I recommend that you don’t fight with them
10. There NOT rideable
I have a sarco and i’m still a noob, but the sarco is a female and i have a lot of sarco eggs, Why bother giving them giga or rex eggs? sarcos are easy to tame. I tamed one by standing on a rock with a slingshot and with a few raw fish. Rexes and gigas are very hard to tame, just tame a low level sarco and knock out the titanaboa and give it sarco eggs, not rex and giga eggs!
i HONESTLY dont think its worth it. id be better off a kapro or a sarco...i say just kill em and find a kapro or sarco. run from bary's. they knock you off your tames. and paralyze you. they are annoying. thanks for reading
Just an idea …don’t go building your first base next to the swamp life will be a lot more easy that way… oh yeah also don’t do it on hardcore…. what have I done……
me:OMG I JUST MADE I HYBRID THE DILOPHOBOA
Friend:you just combined a boa constrictor and a dilo
my tribe:its a baby dilo+boa constrictor+deathworm
Low level Wyvern eggs were the easiest since you can just grab them and go. Just drop the eggs from your inventory in front of the titanboa and it will eat it. Wait a few second then you can drop the next egg. Be on a rex or wyvern while doing this, then they won’t agro.
