Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a thylacoleo? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a thylacoleo.
Best thing to do bring an Argy with a Direwolf and gather raw meat and put it on a camp fire and cook it because it is quicker with cooked meat
Get on a trike. Bring another trike with you. Shoot thyla off tree. Whistle attack on the other trike then passive, tranq the thyla as it attacks your trike and you are done.
It says it can be lassoed... maybe drag it into a pen with a equus?
Pick it up on a argue or qwetz and put it in a stone trap easlie done just like and help others remember to feed cooked meat it eats cooked fish it’s 10x better than mutton
An easy way to tame them is to use wooden fence foundations and doorways and make a small cage at the bottom of the thylo and then shoot it and it will drop into the cage (I generally use 5 fence foundations and make my doorways 2 doorways high
You need a Quetz to pit him up, and a trap 3 walls high, they dont even try to jump it over.
Don't bother unless you have titanoboa kibble or are happy with a low level.
What is the base mellee damage of these beasts?
Watch him slitherin OH WATCH OUT WATCH OUT OOOOHHHH RKO!!!!! *knocked me off my Tapejara and killed me*
for a PvP level 15 it took me 30 minutes to tame one on cooked meat. problem the narcotics estimate is off for this. it took 68 narcotics plus I had to use a hammer to keep it knocked out due to its torpor going down so quick
*breeding-baby raising*
There's no category for this so I made one. Anyway be sure to disable wandering and following. Feed with cooked meat.
That I don't know how to tame of knockouts bit I will learn how to tame animal by asking my family
When breeding watch out they may spawn on a tree...
Titanoboa kibble doesn't seem to work for them anymore. Got 1.4% progress and dropped 3% effectiveness. Same was true for sasquatch.
I havent seen anyone say this, but they seem to be able to reclimb trees in the wild now. Both thylas i have tamed have attempted to dismount me twice by jumping from a tree before i managed to pick them up.
Go on Scorched Earth to get them. It's a lot easier than finding them in redwoods. Just stand on a cliff and shoot away.
I suggest that you use cooked meat if not able to do kibble or mutton, cooked meat is just as effective with the thylo as prime meat.
Cooked meat is much better than raw meat to tame it. Kill a dilo and have 2-3 campires near it to extinguish its constant hunger
I scouted for one of them and went from an angle to pick it up. Then when I need Stam I would look for a good place to land and drop it real fast. It would run but I would walk and it came back each time to attack my quetz. It's a lvl 125 a very easy grab and now just waiting to put the food in her.
Cooked meat is better for this creature tames faster and is easy if you have the industrial grill
Don't go into the redwood at night or you will get jumped by like 7 of these.
