Hey, don’t you guys think there should be a thyla tek saddle? I think there should be more tek saddles, bc there’s only 5 rn when there could be a lot more. Plus, imagine what the ark devs could think of with a thyla tek saddle!
So after hearing about things in the redwoods that take you off your mount I went flying about for literally days with no issue what so ever, I’m thinking what’s the big deal? I start hunting for some prime meat and hide to take back to base in time for imprinting and suddenly out of nowhere I’m flying backwards off my argent and am chomped by this guy, lvl 10, I fight back and get released, I am lvl 98, tho I’m quickly killed before I can draw my mastercraft crossbow. My only imprinted bird and my xbow are now with my corpse near the edge of the redwood. My lvl 220 spino munched the tree hugger and I got my bird back after a second trip back to search. Moral of the story, these guys are legit savage and need be tamed ASAP
The redwoods are now basically a no fly zone, I lost a quetz, and a pter to these bastards. They jump out of the tree, rip you off your mount, and then pin you and your mastercraft armor to the ground and murder you.
Shoot it out of its tree, then pick with argie and drop it into a trap/hole. Cook up some mutton beforehand.
Bred a slick navy blue and silver mutation.
Many surfaces are considered 'vertical' for it to climb, including the southern side of Volcano on The Island, from which you can then pounce back into the redwood, which is the biggest leap I've found yet
Thylacoleo are capable of pinning down flyers in mid-flight (anything but the Quetz and Wyvern, I believe), other Thylacoleo, and even Therizinos. You can also jump from object to object by holding down the jump button while pouncing from a tree or cliff (have to hit it at the right angle, however). Upvote to inform others!
I was going over the mountains and through the woods to my grammas house and litererally got shredded to pieces. Got killed again trying to get my stuff so than I couldn't find that location again...bout a week later I stumbled upon my argent that fortunately was in passive mode and fled from my killer.
If you are looking for a thylacoleo then when you are in the redwoods I would try to stay above the trees, because they basically climb the trees and hangout there. So if your looking for one be caustics.🙂
