Tips & Strategies

What are tips for thylacoleo? Tips and strategies for thylacoleo in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
To tame just fly around redwoods, wait for a thyla to jump on you and then net it. (Bring around 15 nets) after this it should be easy to tranq it out.
Use a Dino that can carry a parasaur, then make sure the parasaur is on turret mode. Then fly above trees while carrying the parasaur and you’ll see the thyla red mark on a tree.
If you wanna counter a thyla when it jumps you whistle attack target on it and pull out the highest damaging thing in your hotbar , good luck.
I had 6 Raptors. Lvl 12, 35, 42, 57, 81, and 97. I now have no Raptors. I don't even know what happened. They were there then.....blood. blood everywhere.
The sky cannot keep you free
If you fly up high near my tree
You might end up dead
Out here in the Red
If you dont fear what you can't see.
Watch your back, tamers!
My favorite bear cat tames, least favorite wolf encounter next to micro raptor. Take a high health/stam tap, smack it out of the tree and kite it to a trap. Easy to tranq.
I play official and tame these like this. No problem.
Think you're safe on your argie up in the sky? Wrong. These little fucks will come hurling at you from fuck nowhere and knock you off your flyer. You are not safe.
I found a lvl 90 and I used cooked meat and it took about 1min and it was tamed. I didn’t starve it either😀 so it’s pretty great if you don’t have kibble.
I bring my theriz in a cryopod to harvest wood to make a trap. And then narcoberries so i dont waste any narcotics on it with its insane torpor drain rate.
Never fly close on bread the trees bc these things cap here harder than bush campers in fortnite
Hey! Don’t wanna die?
D o n t. G e t. C l o s e.
I had a level 258 thylacoleo that I deeply adored. I got pulled off my saddle and killed by a sarco. I lost her for a week until I found her again. I got attacked by a Rex and died and lost her again for two days. I found her again and while trying to rescue a tribe member from a shark, I got cornered by jellyfish and she was killed.
Moral of the story, they may seem unstoppable, but you must always respect the jellyfish.
If you're having trouble taming one of these beasts, go with a Rhyognatha; they can't dismount and you can shoot them from the Rhyognatha.
