Imprint and level up noises are ADORKABLE! mwah, mwah mwah!

These dudes are amazing tames cause while slow at first they can get pretty fast with only a few levels pumped into speed. They can cling to surfaces and allow you to snipe things from a tree. They can carry three people and if solo you can whistle it to follow you and switch seats and it will hover in the air while you shoot the creatures below.(if you have them whistled to be stopped they will land though) if they run low on stamina unlike other flyers you don't have to land just switch seats for a bit and keep going. They are one of the safest ways to take out powerful creatures too. Their saddle is also gotten pretty early so you can ride them in about mid game. And finally they are a good way to tame a quetzal. Overall an amazing tame absolutely would recommend. Their only problem is their hard to find and if it sees you it will fly off to high heaven and you'll never see it again.

Me and my tribe (of 3 people) use this tame for travel, exploration, and taming of large dinos. This is one of the most valuable takes anyone can have.

I have found several of these on mountains in the jungle,for those who want to know.

If you want a thing that can carry a bunch of things but you don’t have the saddle for argy then just get this thing it’s a lower level saddle and it can carry about as much as a argy

When you ride the tapejara, you can fly forward, backward, and side to side. You can also latch onto things. (You can land on the side of things and shoot things while you do so)

If you’re running low on stamina, just switch seats for a little bit then it recharges stamina.

These guys are pretty underrated but sometimes you can use it's ability to cling onto walls to tame or kill a dino from a safe distance. Just make sure the dino is able to be aimed at with the camera.

These have got to be my favourite dino on ark:

1. They are decently fast flyers

2. They cling to vertical surfaces (great for all most any part of the maps)

3. They have a tec saddle

4. They can move in any direction

5. They can hold multiple passengers (4 including yourself a carrying a player)

6. They have an awesome pattern

I just got another on Valgeru and it looks like a volcano

This is the ultimate taming/hunting flier

It has good weight and no need to upgrade stamina I'll tell that later here is a compilation of it's benefits;

1: while airborne when you switch to a passenger seat it

will regenerate stamina while airborne but if it's set to

stop then it will try to land

2: it makes taming and hunting easy because of it's

clinging ability, you can cling to a vertical surface away

from your enemy's reach and tranq or kill them

3: it's saddle has 3 seats 1 for the driver 2 for the

passengers so one person can ride it while the other 2

people attack " they cant hit the same enemy since one

attacks from the back and one from the front"

4: clinging, pretty straightforward it can cling on vertical

surface up to approximately 60° (including redwood

trees)

The amount of control they have in the air makes them good for high construction.

At least better than building a scaffold.

TIPP:

Don't jump on them while they are knocked otherwise you will get stuck in their neck. I know sounds stupid but happened to me twice!

This guys can fly sideways, and you can shoot stuff while clinging to walls. Pteranodon who?

Don't set a creature's aggression to passive for long periods of time. It doesn't make them run it just makes it so they sit there and get killed while being attacked. Lost my tapejara to a therinzo because of this.

I did not know this, but u can’t use weapons in driver seat. Only passenger

I play on a non-dedicated server with my family. I decided to tame a Tapejara because they have a special saddle that has 2 passenger seats. If you’re playing on a server with friends I would highly recommend getting a Tapejara. If your playing single player, I would just go for an Argentavis.

This Dino's true purpose is for rearranging dinos in your base with precision

People completely forgot about the tapejara… you can tame pretty much any ko tame from the back of this thing. It has 2 passenger seats on the saddle, meaning that you can hover in the air on it while shooting tranqs at what you wanna tame

Interesting bird. It can hold three people: driver and two passengers. The two passengers face opposite directions (front and back) and can shoot ranged weapons. It can land on the side but of a cliff or even on ceilings. While perched on the side of a cliff, the Tapejara will recover stamina, but much slower than normal. It can also strafe, which can be useful for centering a shot for your passengers.

Speed: This is bird is real slow. Argys are faster.

Pickup: Similar pickup ability to the Pteranodon.

Weight: Very good weight. We use it in our metal runs until we get an Argy.

Combat: Nothing special. Maybe similar to a Pteranodon.

Stamina: Good. You can be up in the air a long time, but travel similar distances to a Pteranodon before landing due to speed.

This bird makes taming creatures easier since you can easily fire on the target with a passenger. You can avoid taming boxes for many tames.
