To do a single tam use rare flower and trap it in your trap

Build a taming Pen with a dino gate and a roof. Eat rare flowers and it will follow you to it. Jump off your pteranodon and run in the pen. Shut the door and trans with darts. It's now safe for the duration of the tame process. Not bad this way just make sure you aren't also surrounded by wild pteranodons

Rare flowers can now be used to aggro a wild tapejara making it significantly easier to tame them.

Eat Rare flowers to agro this guy then lead him into a building or trap. Just beware of any other creatures around at the time since flowers make all creatures Agro.

Easy solo tame! Get on a flying mount with high health. Tapejara usually have low meele damage but I go with high health flyer in case. Couple thousand health And over 1000 stamina.

What you do is put 100 rare blue flowers in your hot bar ( or more depending on how far you have to lure it ). When you see the tepejara fly up to it and eat a good amount of rare blue flowers. Keep an eye on the timer. Don't let it go out or it will fly away. The tepejara will attack you and you just need to get to the ground in a safe area. rememeber everything else will attack on ground. I usually fly to my taming pen and land in it so nothing can get inside. Get off your mount and BOLA the tepejara while it's attacking your flyer ( remember passive mode !) Then tranq darts or arrow. Darts are better less damage, it only take a few. Don't worry if it's a low level, tepejaras level up fast. I tame them solo constantly this way. Never had help one time with a tapejara tame. Lure in with rare flowers then bola it! Whip out rifle and tranq dart it!

If you use a rare flower it will fly to you and try to attack you pair this with a decent mount you can shoot from and a bola for an easy tame

Runs away when it sees you, so eat some rare flowers so it chases you and bola it in the face when near the ground.

Make sure nothing else is around and eat rare flowers, it will attack you so you can get an easy bola hit

To tame use a pterodactyl then eat rare flowers by it, Then when it attacks you bola and tranq.

One very good tip, is when near one, to eat rare flowers, and then it will agro on you. Just make sure you have a bola, and you take care of all of the other animals. This tactic got me a lvl 47 tapejara

Literally tamed my first today so much easier if u use rare flowers to bring it to a taiming pen, just be prepair to kill a few flying things that follow aswell

Upgrade meelee damage, shoot in bum with tranq arrow and feed with prime meat

If your trying to capture a High level Tapejara ( Usually Flying high in the sky ) Lure it by eating Rare flowers ( Eat lots ) . It will Agro then all you have to do is get off your tame on the ground and lure it inside a trap. Close the doors and knock it out . Be carefull of random flying tames near you who will also follow you with agro status , make sure it's just you and the tappy .

Using a rare flower near this creature will agro it to you making it very easy to fly into a capture pen. Once inside the pen it's very easy to knockout with and keep protected. A longneck rifle with tranq darts is most effective. Be cautious of using a rare flower because it will also agro most dinos in the vicinity of you.

New best way to tame them safely:

1. Use any flyer, when u r near one feed rare flower to ur flyer.

2. It will agro on ur flyer, fly back to safe place(or base) use extra flowers if de-agroed.

3. Unmount flyer and shoot darts to make it unconsious.

Eat a rare flower to aggro it and then atempt to use a bold on it. From there you can punch it unconsious ( if low level )
