Find a Tapejara and get it stuck in some trees and them tranq it and tame in peace watch out for predators

All you need to knock it out is a bola and a wooden bat. I just got close enough, and when it noticed me I threw the bola. Just hit it with the bat until it is unconscious and feed it fish. I used about ten narcotics and 25 fish. The one I found was only level two though.

Start swinging your bola before you approach. Sneak from the back and use low damage tanqs

Just use rare flowers to get it to follow you then fly it into a trap or your base then use a longneck to knock it

After taming make sure that you level up the weights and stamina because those two sucks at low level pteronodon

If you’re having trouble with this guy I recommend killing one and taking the implant out. If you’re in solo then just build a base around the green resurrection point and revive in there to trap it. It costs 29 ancient amber though so make sure you have enough before you kill one or you’ll just run out of time.

If it is a small level, like a lvl 5, then go ahead and shoot it with a tranq dart in the head. If it is a high level, then go ahead and bola it then tranq it with darts.

Just bola it and then knock it out with a slingshot feed it some raw fish meat and raw meat then use bio toxin to make it stay sleeping to get bio toxin make a bow at level seven and then collectit with a stone pick you sould get about twelve if you kill three or use a spear to stab it until it dies

If its up in the air then :

Step 1, use a flyer ( ptera, argentavis etc)

Step 2 , go above the tapejara

Step 3, use a parachute

Step 4, tranq it down with tranqdarts, shocking darts, toxicant arrow ( your choice)

Step 5, starve tame it and use biotoxin while taming it

Use bola and traunq darts. Guard while it tames

Use bola and use heavy guards while it tames

I got lucky enough to find one between the redwoods and the beach, The Island, and somehow I got close enough to scare it off, but I got it bola’d in time and now I’m waiting for it to finish taming

Best solo method is with a griffin. Use a 900-1000 dmg rifle, and it should go down rather quickly. Try to keep a distance to prevent it from getting spooked. Also prevent from knocking it out over open waters. If you do then RIP, find another.

Keep away and start head shot sniping with a long neck and Tranq darts

Although they’re very difficult to tame, breeding them is a great idea. From my first 6 batches of eggs I got 2 triplets and 1 pair of twins. Imprint 100% and they’re beasts

When you knock it out you can heal it with a snow owl.

It needs exceptional kibble and not superior
