The thing about tapes is that when you try to find ‘‘em they aren’t there and when you don’t have the stuff there right in front of you and when you go get stuff pooph

On the island map they are uncommon spawns in many places although the best place to find them is in the south east jungle and obelisk area. They can be used to tame solo tame a quetzal. Kill a few ducks to get some ghille (2-3 pieces will do) then shoot it in the head and afterwards just hit it with a few body shot and it’s will ko. Never go to close on your mount when you find one. Flying mount reccomended. if it is in the air follow it from far away and wait patiently for it to come down. If it only ascends then don’t bother and if it’s on the ground land a little far away then equip ghille and shoot. I hope this helped!

You should be really careful, as a frightened Tapejara will always try to escape your render-range, and will always end up very high if a Bola is not administered.

So annoying to tame. Once you notice it, it notices you and just dips.

Need to train my bola training because I miss everytime (and it loves to hang above the water because it wants drown once you drug it. fun.)

I play on mobile so I only have access to The Island but I've noticed that anywhere near red obelisk is a prime hotspot for tapejaras.

(The Center) they can most commonly be found in the south jungle, however they can spawn throughout the entire jungle. They can rarely be found in the redwoods and blue ob island

In different servers different animals are common. In some servers moschops or tapes are almost inexistent but in some they are quite common. Remember that when u ask ur self. WHY DO I SEE *insert name of creature*S SO MUCH!?!

These guys are really common in the sanctuary area in extinction. You could maybe tame one and transfer it to a different map if you can't find one

If you are trying to tame one in ark mobile solo you might wanna take smoothing balm with you because they take S long time to starve

If you a good enough,you can use it to solo alpha rex

The spawn of the tapejara is uncommon is moslikely to spawn in the South East of the jungle and the green

Obelisk before you tame it you need to have a ghillie suit and a holla youcan use a bow with tranq or acrosbow you can use the long Neck riffle with a shocking dart or a tranq dart

I've noticed that these birds can be found easier flying at rather high altitudes above the north island.
