These guys will wander near redwoods and near green oblesk

To tame these guys

1.find them

2.wait for them to land

3.bolo them

4.tranq them that all

Honestly on Ark Mobile, if you fly up really high there are tons of them just sittin up there. Also occasionally a few griffins. Really easy to find them idk why they are called rare.

Always spawn on the Island near Green Ob, and near to Red Ob. Use bola, and full gillie suit to approach. Make sure you are crouching when you approach one. I've had Taps on official and unofficial. Great multi purpose tame for tribes. Not so good for solo players unless you get the tek engram for the saddle

Popular tame! But super hard to bola since they are extremely skittish. I would suggest staying low tok the ground to find one as they dont fly around unless running. Crouch walk when you see one and consume a rare flower. This will agroit and they will come to attack you. This helps yoh bola it since it wont flee. Hope this is helpful :) if it was, you know how too share the lvoe!

I know this isn’t a tip but i found like two Tapejaras near the redwoods and they just ran away before I could even try to get my bola out any tips on this would be very useful

I found one while flying on my pteranadon when i saw it he started flying away i saw many of these but it was a dangerous area

If you see one make sure you tame I found 1 in a island server and was killed because it was a PvP server and the person left it for me as it was a "rare find" and they already had one

These are great on solo my faveroute way of traveling the island

Tip do not mount it after you get attacked by a titanaboe because I did and I lost my tapyjara and then I found but not t died to a level 147 spino one up =one rip for yappu

These things can fly backwards which aren’t common in flying mounts. Use it to your advantage and juke other flyers

I have just found a level 95 tape but people should know when you agro it it stays in the sky for a while and just so you know mobile players always have tranqs and a sleeping bag with you… If you sleep in the bag then the dinos food will go down to zero so if you do this have the food on you already!!!

I finally saw one tapejara which is resting on the ground , bola it , trand arrow it , suddenly a carno come out of nowhere and locked and killed the tapejara .I am sure I check the surroundings and this carno came out of nowhere :(

I found tapejaras at the red and green obelisks. Wait for it to land and then bola it the hit it in the head with tranq arrows or darts

I tend to find them alot in the red obelisk side of the red woods maybe this will help..?

I was going to the green obelisk on my direwolf I passed a level 420 tapejara but it was to late I startled it and it flew away 😔😭😭😭 by the way they spawn near the Red obelisk

I've been wanting to get since they are so beautiful but I hate the fact that they are so rare but I found one close to the swamp biome and one that was this beautiful violet color but HECK NO THEY ALWAYS FLY AWAY EVEN AT THE SLIGHTEST MOVEMENT AND EVERY TIME I SEE ONE I GET FRICKIN SWEATS THINKING THAT I CAN GET IT BUT NO!!!! they're more skittish than the cute Deer I tried to hand feed!!! anyway I found them near the green obelisk and the river near the redwood biome
