Once tamed you can get a buddy to fly on the it with you which makes it so much easier to knock out big dinosaurs like rexes and brontos. All you have to do is fly above it and let ur tribe mate shoot darts

If you are a noob, run up and bola it. Shoot it with a couple Narco arrows with a crossbow and then wait for the torpor to do the job. I tamed mine by the beach and I love it!

These things are so underrated and arguably one of the best midgame tames:

- Can be used to solo tame Quetzals

- Able to hang from surfaces where u can tame dinos from

- If you’re above a body of water and switch seats, you can float in the air where u can easily shoot dinos from (this happens because there isnt a body of land nearby)

Saw a tapajera that Spawned inside a rock Easy tame lol

A tapejara is a good scouting tame, a two passenger ride tame, and it can carry small creatures.

Here’s a quick tip to all of you mobile players, if you switch seats mid air it will regain stamina and you can continue flying forever

If your playing Genesis you want this bird because you can use whistles to make it go to a certain spot another thing when you are in the passenger seat water won't dismount you

If you eat a rare flower ot will be aggressive twords you instead of running away. Just make sure it is alone if not any dinos in the area will attack you

get bolas and rare flowers lead it somewhere safe like your base bola it and knock it out

I play on mobile so I only have access to The Island but I've noticed that anywhere near red obelisk is a prime hotspot for tapejaras.

So these flyers are just so awesome! They are even part of my main Dino’s I use! The6 are useful because they are almost like the thylacoleos of the redwoods in ark mobile but instead can fly. These creatures can latch onto trees and rocks. Sadly they can’t move while doing these things but it is still very useful on multiplayer. Hope this helps my friends!

This boi Is the most mobile of all fliers, 3 seats (1 pilot, 2 passengers) and can carry another one guy, it can carry less creatures than the ptera can, It can land anywhere and it has a tek saddle, with all of this it can be better than the griffin, it may have worse stats than it but unlike the griffin it can be bred (it means you can imprint it) and has a tek saddle too while the griffin got no saddle and that means less resistance, also tek saddle = blasts, it's a must tame especially because of the tek saddle as the tape is the only flyer with one so it has advantage over so many creatures, even a giga if you are careful enough to keep a safe distance, go tame It bois.

(The Center) they can most commonly be found in the south jungle, however they can spawn throughout the entire jungle. They can rarely be found in the redwoods and blue ob island

A bit dangerous in crowded Areas but if you can afford to do it, rare flowers and a bola are so easy. I’m taming one of these to try tame the desert titan with its tek saddle, so I can just protect myself and it with a managarmr. Rare flowers are by far the easiest method for me so far.

I almost tamed it and some level 40 raptor killed it it was a 120

In different servers different animals are common. In some servers moschops or tapes are almost inexistent but in some they are quite common. Remember that when u ask ur self. WHY DO I SEE *insert name of creature*S SO MUCH!?!

Literally came around a cliff corner on the Center, saw it. Had bola out. Threw it. Used some tranq arrows was lvl 30. Fed it.

Had my two dilophosaurs and freshly tamed raptor on guard duty. Came back to a therizinosaur lvl 8 that killed everything except the Tapejara... So I called over a buddy to snipe it. I'm killing all therizinosaur I come across.

Named Tapejara "Big Mama" cause no one messes with her. Lol

Best mount so far. Been playing only a couple weeks.

This bird makes quetz taming a breeze. One drives, while the passenger shoots.
