For an easy island map tame, chase it to the volcano & lure it up the side, it gets stuck a lot & you can eventually chase it into the volcano where it gets trapped, easy & safe tame!

Run up bola already swingin and have good aim only one chance lucky if it goes into a wall but either goes up or down the wall wen it runs in to dont chase them they run for ever

I've found the easiest way to tame is to use a quetz with a thatch cage for the tapejara, theres many YouTube videos. Just remember don't trap and tranq over water it will never end well

Sneak up on it in a ghillie suit bola it then drop it. Don't chase they'll fly far and high to get away from you

Knocking it out is pretty hard, as it has high torpor and low health. I recommend using tranq darts, as it will most likely die otherwise. You can however use a bola on it, which makes your job already a lot easier. Taming it doesn't take too long either.

First you need anything to k.o the tapa, then you need to trap the dino in a wall or hole then bola the tapa and trank it

One shot at its head with a tranq arrow does it.

If there’s a high levelled tappy flying in the air and won’t land, tame a low level pachyrhinosaurus and either with a Wyvern/quetz pick it up and fly to it with a friend riding the pachy, have them use the agro mist and fly to the ground then bola it and KO.

Good method i recently used was eating rare flowers and led it to our bird trap near our base. Make a 6×6 structure with stone and use doorways for the walls so u can shoot it from anywhere and put a stone dino gateway on it. The bird sometimes will just fly for what it seems forever so get a high health flying mount and keep eating rare flowers by it and it will agro on you and just lead it back to the vird trap and jump off the mount and lead it in and have a tribe mate sgut the door or shut yourself in with it quickly then dip out the side through your doorway walls and bam! Its trapped, got to keep eating the flowers to keep it agro.

Snipe it with a bola, make sure you actually get a headshot straight in the middle in the thin part of their head, if you shoot the side of its head it doesn’t count as a headshot.

You may use rare flowers to aggro them and lure into traps, beware of other dinos nearby though.

Eat a rare flower and walk up to it causing it to agro. Then bola it

Just use rare flowers to aggro it then lead it to a taming pen. Just consider how far away your pen is from it and make sure you have enough flowers.

The best way to tame a tappy is to get it to chase you by using rare flowers, then while its argo lead it into a trap then then use darts to knock it out.

Just fly near and eat rare flowers.

Wait for the red eye to wear off.

Land and bola.

Bingo bongo you got your tame.

To do a single tam use rare flower and trap it in your trap

Build a taming Pen with a dino gate and a roof. Eat rare flowers and it will follow you to it. Jump off your pteranodon and run in the pen. Shut the door and trans with darts. It's now safe for the duration of the tame process. Not bad this way just make sure you aren't also surrounded by wild pteranodons

Rare flowers can now be used to aggro a wild tapejara making it significantly easier to tame them.

Eat Rare flowers to agro this guy then lead him into a building or trap. Just beware of any other creatures around at the time since flowers make all creatures Agro.

Easy solo tame! Get on a flying mount with high health. Tapejara usually have low meele damage but I go with high health flyer in case. Couple thousand health And over 1000 stamina.

What you do is put 100 rare blue flowers in your hot bar ( or more depending on how far you have to lure it ). When you see the tepejara fly up to it and eat a good amount of rare blue flowers. Keep an eye on the timer. Don't let it go out or it will fly away. The tepejara will attack you and you just need to get to the ground in a safe area. rememeber everything else will attack on ground. I usually fly to my taming pen and land in it so nothing can get inside. Get off your mount and BOLA the tepejara while it's attacking your flyer ( remember passive mode !) Then tranq darts or arrow. Darts are better less damage, it only take a few. Don't worry if it's a low level, tepejaras level up fast. I tame them solo constantly this way. Never had help one time with a tapejara tame.
