for new mobile players, just go to an youtube video. learn how to tame them fast and tame 2 opposite genders. have a egg.(u cant get egg another way) make kibble and tame a big guy.

Please don’t go Taming a high level with allo kibble it will take over a hundred if it’s a high level on hard and several hours. Instead tame 2 low level griffins with the same letters at the end of their name, breed them and make their egg into a kibble which will need snake plant seeds which can be bought for amber. This will take less time and less resources to tame.

I’m on a private server (hard difficulty), where most Dodo functions (taming time & kibble amount ) are accurate. However, the taming times & kibble amount is inaccurate for the Royal Griffin. I wind up taming a level 240 lvl but it took over +20minutes, 2 super Griffin kibble, and 200 narcotics. I used major soothing balm too. According to the Dodo app, with major soothing balm the tame should have took little over 4minutes with only 1 super Griffin kibble. As suggested, bring extra kibble and narcotics!

To start the tame process, I used the dino gate method and trapped the Griffin. Essentially, I used to a Pteranodon and allowed the Griffin to agro me and lured the Griffin into the dino gate setup. I used a high damage rifle (+1000 damage) with tranq darts for the knockout. It took +20 darts each dart spaced out every 5 seconds.

Of course the longest process is acquiring the super Griffin kibble! I had to tame two of the same name line, male & female (one was lvl 10 & other was lvl 30) using the carnivore pheromone. The pair can only mate once every 8 hours & to make the kibble you have to purchase the snake seeds (along with growing the essential crops! (potatoes, corn, and lemons).

It’s a looooong process but it’s worth it. The Griffin at high level is very formidable. I have taken down Gigas & Titans with relative ease!

To knock ‘em out, it’s easiest to just build a trap, even if you have one already. To tame them, I suggest 9 allosaurus kibble and the 15x soothing balm on a low level (anything under 15). Get a low lvl male and female with the same surname, breed them and use the eggs to make Griffin kibble to tame a higher level, you’ll need at minimum 3, max 9, for a 150 without soothing balm. Taming any level with allo kibble and no soothing balm is a pain. If you don’t like the idea of breeding for the eggs for the kibble, the only other way to get Griffin kibble on mobile is the tek kibble processor. As with all tek, you’ll have to run a few dungeons, or caves, but, once you have the tek kibble processor, you need at minimum, 2 bronto or 2 giga kibble, one griffin implant (the griffin it belongs too must be dead) and some eerie element, then you’re good to go. Hope this is helpful for you! 😁

You can find these in the most right and up corner. There is a mountain over there and royal griffin spawns there (be careful about gigas).if they do not respect you you cant tame them. For their respect you should have 1 of them:

-You should have a gold crown its 150 amber in the market i think.

-You should be 85 to 95 to get one. (85 for the lowest, 95 you can pretty much tame every griffin.

-Or your name needs to end up with these letters

-'i,-an,-ric,-ys,-lot,-na,-ell,-on,-go,

-gast,-den,-ssa if your name ends up with one of these after level 40 you could tame the same suffix as your name for example:

Lets say my name is thell my name end up with -ell so i can tame a loyal griffin after level 40 with my Suffix

I tamed a level 30 (my max level) with around 15-20 allo kibble with a 10x balm still took awhile because they eat slow but it was worth it! Plus I was on single player so I had all the time in the world

GUYS DONT TAME A MAX LEVEL GRIFFIN WITH ALLO KIBBLE WORST MISTAKE IN MY LIFE!!!

Step 1: find a low level griffin 1-100~

Step 2: DONT waste amber buying allo kibble(you can still use only if you can still buy x15)

Step 3: find a place between redwood and swamp to place trap

Step 4: GET PRIME (kill pacer sarco snake) you get like 2%~ for a lv 70

Step 5: x15

Step 6: NARCOTIC BIO TOXIC

Step 7: FEED and WAIT

Extra: a bin to keep prime from spoile

Extra 2: save the game

Step 8: breed low level, make kibble, tame high level

Unnecessary step: find a unicorn and kill it(just like me killing 2 unicorn 😎)

There's a bug in singleplayer, that if you unclaim your griffin, then leave and rejoin, it will turn into a normal wild griffin, except the only thing different is that it still has the stats from when it was tamed (and also it will be boosted by any soothing balms if you used one on it when you tamed it)

Then, you can knock out, and tame your griffin again and the exp will be reset back to 0.

Of course this only works in old ark mobile, and do with this information what you may.

To the person who said they couldn’t find any on mobile i’m sure they spawn near mountains.(I hope this was useful)

Use allo kibble and 10x soothing balm on a low level griffin it’s better then using raw prime meat

If you share the same "Surname" as the Griffin you see it will respect you at any level and you can take it as well.

If you're like me without a primal pass and without a god console below level 90 you need to to this step to tame one.

1. Bring 500 biotoxin and 6-10 Allosaur kibble for level 10 Griffin and below it (Depends on the level)

2. Go to the mountain.

3. Set up the Griffin trap about 5 dino gates and 2 dino door.(you can see it on YouTube)

4. Bring also a bed and a foundation, wall and ceiling (so you can sleep without the restriction of "too bright can't sleep"

5. Find some Griffin ending with the last name as yours. If you can't find, kill all the Griffin without the last 2 letters of similar to yours. Wait and be patient kill then wait repeat until you find one with the last 2 letter of the name is similar to your name. (This method will make the Griffin respect you and you will be able to tame that Griffin)

6. Lure it to the trap

7. Shoot it with all you've got to make it unconscious.

8. Use soothing balm and Allosaur kibble

9. Feed it with biotoxin then sleep.(to skip 7 hrs time.)

They are also in mobile but only on one mountain but they always spawn (someone asked)

You must gain their respect before trying to tame one otherwise you'll end up using your soothing balms and other resources in vain as they only start taming once you have their respect. To do this you must atleast be at lvl 85 or above. You can also use a name change ticket to make your name same as the Griffin you wish to tame as this will earn their respect. Or you could buy the gold crown available in the shop.

Don’t unclaimed it will attack all your tames it doesn’t even do the unclaimed in 15 minutes plz up me and my cuz hade to leave the server

Don't tame normally just do this you will tame instantly

1:make trap

2:trap griffin

3:after trapped griffin go to sleep

4: knockout the griffin

5:now food level is at 0 so use smoothing blam and kibble to tame instantly

Make sure you have soothing balm. Also, I tried to use Allosaurus Kibble and it just didn’t work out well. Use raw prime meat instead, it seems to do about 1.75 taming without the soothing balm. Since the balm increases it by 10%, I think it’d be about 17.5 taming with it. So ye. Also I have no idea on how to get the kibble from them to tame that lovely unicorn named Morkin that you’ve been wanting it tame for the past month. Hmm oddly specific, right?
