Never try to trade them. My friend in a different tribe unclaimed it so I could try to fly it. The Griffin started murdering our tames and wasn’t able to be claimed. We had to kill it, wasting his tame. I feel pretty bad, but we didn’t know. Never try to trade them!!!! Don’t make our mistake!

I have a very very very easy way to tame them that i used my self.

First choose one high level (i was choose 405lvl) go near him with high level arge (mine was 682 and 10k health) then let him chase you take him far from thear normal spawning location on any mountain side so that he will not eat food there then for 8-9 hours to make him hungry then trap him with 5-6 dianosour gate and shoot him traq dart then see his stats he is hungry very much so give him 15x balm and allo kibble he will be yours in 1 min.

Increase speed to 400% use biotoxin and soothing balm and Allo kibble. Tame a low

Level in minutes not hours. :)

Note: THIS WILL ONLY WORK WITH GOD CONSOLE

First tranq it out, put food in its inventory, and then spam the level up target button on God Console and it will make the taming process go quicker. This trick will work on most creatures except passive tames. And make sure you feed it narcotic or bio toxin

You have a chance to get a free carnivore pheromone from dungeons from one of the premium chests. If on single player, then identify the premium chest and make a save near it. Load up collect loot. Not the desired one ? Load it up again. I now have 3 carnivore pheromones and 1 herbivore pheromone. Then tame a pair of low level griffin with identical surname(last 3 words) and use carnivore pheromone on female and make super griffin kibble. Then tame high level griffin's with 10x soothing balm. Should only take 2 super kibbles

After you knockout the griffin and place food in its inventory, DO NOT LET IT DISAPPEAR OUT OF RENDER DISTANCE!!!

I found a lvl 25 male today (my max lvl is 30), trapped him, changed my name using the ticket to match his surname, knocked him out and tamed him with kibble...your standard taming experience, right? Well I realized I didn’t bring enough narcotics, went back to base to get some more and when i returned to the place the griffin was, it vanished. Through photo mode I later found out that the griffin fell through the world and died....RIP. This experience ruined my whole day.

Beware Rexs live at the top of the mountain that Griffins live on they came and killed me when I was taming a Griffin, Beware.

How to gain its respect

1st: there are three ways to gain its respect

2nd: the first method is you have to be 100 level in multiplayer it is very easy to get 100 level but in solo it is very hard so i should recommand you use the 2nd method

3rd: the second method is way expensive but also from this method you can get griffin respect at level 40 for that you will be needed name change ticket which costs is 100 amber way much expensive then your expectations you can buy this ticket from amber store after buying the ticket you have to change your name add the last three letters in your name and then that griffin will respect you which last three letters matches to your last three letters

Here's the list of all three letters that you have to join in your name -

-mir - 'i -na -den

-mu -an -ell -ssa

-zar -ric -on

-ys -yss -go

-ra -lot -gast

4rth : i should recommand you to do not use the third method unless you are rich (in real life) for that you will be needed primal pass you can buy primal pass from doing payment with your real money after purchasing primal pass a thing will be unlocked in your amber shop the golden crown the golden crown cost is 150 amber after buying gold crown

Equip it and if you are on level 1 so any griffin will respect you after equiping the crown

To tame one of these at a low level (Mobile)

• Tame a low lvl female Allosaurus to get kibble

• Hop on Pteranodon and find one with the same last name as you so that it respects you.

• Build a taming pen (Loads of videos on YouTube)

• Before you trap it, do the hunt phirana persuit it gives you a 10× soothing balm.

• Trap your Griffin

• Knock it out (make sure to watch it's health)

• Tame with allo kibble (Don't forget to use the balm)

(singleplayer only) if you want to tame a griffin make sure to sleep first it will reset the hunger of the animal and tame it to hungertame

Anyone else wish royal griffins could at least only lay eggs when tamed instead of when wild?

There are 3 ways to gain respect 1. Change your name to the last letters of the griff family 1/17 of griffs will have that last name (look on YouTube or something else for names) 2 wear the royal crown, this shows that your the king or queen and will gain respect of any griffs. And 3 you need to be lvl 85+. If you do KO one without respect it will refuse to eat. Happy taming!

The royal Griffen have a little different in his taming

A Griffen have to "RESPECT" a surviver for that surviver to tame it

The Griffen start respecting a surviver when they reach around level 85 or have the same last 3 name letters if I'm not wrong or wearing a crown that can be brought in the shop after buying the primal pass

How to tame a royal griffin, not the hardest. (Btw, do Hunt: Megapirhana for 10x balm, and make sure you have lots of it's preferred kibble.)

Step 1: Have a nice leveled pteranodon, and if multiplayer, bring a friend on an argie.

Step 2: Make a trap: Stone dinosaur gateway (x4) Reinforced dinosaur gate (x2). Have space between each gateway so you can tranq.

Step 3: Find your griffin of choice, and lead it in. (This is harder than you think.)

(Multiplayer) Step 4: Have your friend lead all dangers away on the argie.

Step 5: Tranq.

Step 6: Feed soothing, (and make sure you brought bio toxin, it's essential to taming these things) and put kibble in.

To get their respect you need to buy primal pass to unlock the royal Crown

and dont forget to feed them a shooting balm i recommend to use 10x or 15xBalm but if u dont really want to waste ur Amber go to the hunter cave and get the artifacts and then tribute it on red obelisk 💅

or you can do the other cave too but if u want the easy one go to the hunter cave

If you want to breed Royal Griffin then you should get 2 Royal Griffin of same surname like ina, sa etc

Moral: Get 15x Soothing And Give It Prime Meat Or Allo Kibble , Make Sure U Have A TON Of Narcos. If You Don't Have Narcs , Use Bio Toxin , Though Bt Does Get The Food Up A Little. If You Don't Want To Use Bt And You Don't Have Narcs , Get A Bronto Or An Equus To Gather Berries (Make Sure The Equus Has A Saddle So I Can Make Narcs On The Go!)

You can find these in the most right and up corner. There is a mountain over there and royal griffin spawns there (be careful about gigas).if they do not respect you you cant tame them. For their respect you should have 1 of them:

-You should have a gold crown its 150 amber in the market i think.

-You should be 85 to 95 to get one. (85 for the lowest, 95 you can pretty much tame every griffin.

-Or your name needs to end up with these letters

-'i,-an,-ric,-ys,-lot,-na,-ell,-on,-go,

-gast,-den,-ssa if your name ends up with one of these after level 40 you could tame the same suffix as your name for example:

Lets say my name is thell my name end up with -ell so i can tame a loyal griffin after level 40 with my Suffix

To knock ‘em out, it’s easiest to just build a trap, even if you have one already. To tame them, I suggest 9 allosaurus kibble and the 15x soothing balm on a low level (anything under 15). Get a low lvl male and female with the same surname, breed them and use the eggs to make Griffin kibble to tame a higher level, you’ll need at minimum 3, max 9, for a 150 without soothing balm. Taming any level with allo kibble and no soothing balm is a pain. If you don’t like the idea of breeding for the eggs for the kibble, the only other way to get Griffin kibble on mobile is the tek kibble processor. As with all tek, you’ll have to run a few dungeons, or caves, but, once you have the tek kibble processor, you need at minimum, 2 bronto or 2 giga kibble, one griffin implant (the griffin it belongs too must be dead) and some eerie element, then you’re good to go.
