You must get it’s egg and it’s easy to raise. You don’t need any special feeding items to imprint it. Also the eggs are found in small craters in the hazardous area. Much more worth it than manas. It has a tek saddle, can go invisible with clicking the right stick on console and can climb up walls. And can glide and dive like the griffin.

I’ve looked everywhere for the eggs, in the same place the Wiki says to, for I don’t know, 3 hours? And haven’t found a single nest. I have the dino count all the way up, I have the egg laying and mating interval set to almost the lowest possible time, and still nothing. This is ridiculous. Has this happened to anyone else?

If you want to get one but always die in the trench bring a high level megalosaurus with lots of health and damage, when you get the egg run as quickly as you can to your mega and kill all the rock drakes that are coming.

When you have a rock drake it will be much easier to get more just go invisible and run away with your rock drake.

Best way to get a drake egg is to set up an AC house hidden away in the brush, and wait and watch somone get an egg then kill them steal it and then you got one!

Good  day people so i stolen 2 rock drake eggs a 170lvl and 145lvl and both of them vanished out of my inventory....so i did noticed that the eggs have the same glitch as the wyvern eggs the expiration timer goes down in wild but don't despawn but no stress at all if you pick up the egg with 00.00.00 time on it you will still have the fun of running for your life though

You can get to some nest on the top wirh any land dino, just kill the drakes, steal the eggs you want and walk away like nothing

I load a rock drake up with four hazard suits, a few stacks of carrots to replenish food and water, and head down. With that you can pull eggs for a couple hours. Make sure to take a spyglass so you can track low level drakes and kill them so higher level eggs spawn! I level a rock drake to 15000hp, 1500stam, and use it to pull more eggs! I recommend putting extra points into melee then weight.

Get a decent pteranodon that can survive one or two hits, but also has enough weight to carry the eggs, use a whip. Whips can grab items for you without u having to go down and manually get them. After you get enough, go to the top of the trench and do what you want with the eggs.

Wen hatching these things make sure no basilisks or titanboas are near because I lost a level 144 rock drake egg to one.😭😭

Hardest way but least resource and tame costly is to go on foot with a glider suit and like 15 climbing picks glide down the metal spike then into the drake nest farther from the spike go as far as you can and to the highest drake nest you can find , steal it and glide to he spike and clime up it (takes like 30mins). Don't forget to practice this on creative at least 2 times

Egg needed 22 air cons for me(I live in fertile lake but I’m not sure if this makes a difference) saying this because everyone has been saying 15 or 20 for an egg

In fjoror there is a rock drake den near a single waterfall in a purple forest in asgaurd.If you get a tanky carno and whistle it to attack a far in drake there will is a possibility that there is a nest in a cubby on the right and if you can grab that and get on a fast dino maewing works best and run.if you don’t have maewing a procoptodon Isn’t bad either. Bear in mind you can not use flyers in asgaurd (maewings and drakes unincluded

To steal their egg I use one of two methods

1: make a Zipline and climb up and down it with a ravager. I know everyone says it doesn't work but you can on certain places

2: glide/ parachute down then use climbing picks to get out. Be carefully as the picks break very fast
